Politicians Who Seek Personal Power

In the series of books I have written about floaters, I call them controllers, sort of like Old Joe and a number of senators and representatives. This would Include city mayors who like the prestige more than the job. That includes the brass in the military more interested in their news headlines than the mission and the good of his men. And then, of course there are those George Soros district attorneys who, for personal gain, have released untold numbers of the bad guys.

Need I really continue? Is any of this new to anyone?

Open Defiance

Can we bring up the last presidential election one more time or is everyone going to openly defy any other possibility than as it turned out?

I’m not a big fan of Glenn Beck, but every now and then he says something that is really, really thought provoking. Let me say what he said in a very different way.

Why is it that when anyone brings up a good question or two that everyone and their cousins quickly clamps a lid on it. Of course I do mean that figuratively, but I certainly can’t exaggerate it even a little.

I mean, think about it. I bring up the subject and immediately if not sooner, my thoughts are belittled, before I even bring forward any facts.

Nothing, but nothing was established in court. The Supreme Court refused to even look at anything, defiantly. At the time, couldn’t understand that. Considering the obvious disobedience of the law I still don’t comprehend it.

It is as if someone, somewhere said put a lid on it and no one nowhere, noway, no how dare say anything differently.

You might take note of what has happened to those that did try to swim upstream. Many are already in prison. Many more are on their way. Is this really the way we should be treated when we question the outcome of an election.

If so, there are at least 3, maybe 4 who should be behind bars.

DON’T like it when the rules only work but one way. I do believe most of the rest of us do, or should feel the same.

Just a Quick Thought

For a couple of decades now, especially since Old Joe took over the Oval Office, the effort has been to go electric. Now we are getting boil orders for water and we must cut back on electric usage.

I guess those that have electric stoves will need to use their propane turkey cooker to boil the water. Which, makes me wonder, just how much water can you boil on one of those things before you need a refill.

Maybe those who bought electric stoves should make sure they keep a natural gas one too…just in case. Those that went to heat their with electric, should keep the old ng home heater just in case. Do I really need to make the same suggestion for the hot water heater?

Of course not. It’s silly to go to electric in the first place.

Frozen EVs

I have taken note of the stranded Teslas of Chicago. Even before I purchased my Nissan I heard about the problem of charging cold batteries. Maybe it’s worse than I heard of. So far, I have been able to charge my battery on my Nissan from my home, though Entergy has requested we not charge cars during high usage.

However, it would seem if you plan on driving an EV around Chicago, it would appear you should plan on parking it at the end of Nov for a few months.

As I have mentioned in some of my posts earlier, there are a few problems they need to work out yet. I guess frozen batteries is another one, besides, range, charging stations and charging time.

Them, there going green engineers better get it in gear if most of our cars will be electric in 2030. That is 6 years away. Just maybe someone with some common sense will ask for an extension, like maybe 50 years.

Incidentall, I still really love my almost new Nissan EV. But then, I have never driven it more than 50 miles. One thing I noticed, it does seem to handle slickery roads better than anything else I’ve driven with 2 wheel drive.

I Agree

Anytime I get the chance I get the chance, I ask police officers what will happen when they have to go to electric police cars. I do consider it a valid question. According to them that knows, gas cars will all be phased out of existence by 2030.

Every official quickly dismissed my question out of hand. I agree. I don’t think we will go to electric police cars. However, at this point, I see no way to avoid it. If Detroit stops building internal combustion engines, I see but 2 ways to keep the gas guzzlers on the highway. 1. Build their own. 2. Keep repairing the old ones.

So, I am forced back to the question. What happens when Detroit is forced into going all electric?

Going Green, Really

Landed on public TV the other day. I try not to do that. They try to warp my mind. Every now and then they have something that catches my my attention.

They had a story about red lights, aka traffic lights. At any rate, the woman suggested regulation of traffic lights to decrease the long times that autos must wait at red lights.

Oddly, sounds like a really good idea. Oddly, sounds familiar. Come to think of it, I am sure I have heard of it a time or two or three before. Those of you who are approaching my age might have heard of the concept.

I suppose, to some degree, it is already done with various degree of success. Actually, to some degree, it is the logic behind Interstates, expressways and such. Barring traffic jams, it works good.

The one thing that keeps coming to mind are the tons of fuel used in drive throughs. Just how many cars sit at restaurants awaiting to order, then awaiting to pickup the orders.

Of course, those who are in the cars stay nice and cool as their SUVs spew their waste into the atmosphere.

Ironically, I never hear the going green folks complaining about any of it. Do you suppose it’s cause they are the ones in the drive throughs waiting for the processed foods they don’t like the rest of us eating.

Clearly, Self Destruction

The dems are doing all they can to destroy families.

The dems are doing all they can to allow anyone and everyone into the country by whatever means they will. They do this while totally ignoring all immigration laws.

The dems are doing all they can to destroy the effectiveness of any and all law enforcement, local, state and federal.

The dems are doing all they can to punish everyone and anyone who tries to protect the people the country or our sovereignty.

Yup. That’s it. They are trying to destroy the nation and all it stands for.

2 Problems, 1 Solution

The water levels are droping on Lake Meade. The need for power keeps increasing in Los Vegas by the day. Those be the problems.

The solution: Floating platforms on the lake, which would decrease the evaporation from the lake. Then, put solar batteries on the platforms that could help provide electricity for Los Vegas.

Advantags: No land used. Lots of free energy.

Disadvantages: less area for boating. Certainly would not enhance the view. Might even decrease property values. That might be the big complaint. A lot of rich folks have property there and, of course, rich folks like to bribe politicians. Just look at how quickly the complaints came in when windmills were suggested off the north east coast.

Maybe I should have added, “More Problems,” to the title of this post.

Maybe Something New

They just voted for an official impeachment inquiry. if it works as it should, witnesses will be called. Documents will be subpoenaed. Depositions, theoretically will be made.

The hitch, if the dems refuse to cooperate, no one will enforce it. No one will go to prison for refusing to cooperate. Old Joe runs the Justice Department. The FBI answers to Justice. If the order goes out to ignore the investigation, it will go nowhere.

If by some miracle, they do start cooperating with the investigation, it will be something new. It will also be a big surprise to many.

Also, if it does go forward, Old Joe’s done. Not only will it all come out in the open, but also the rats will start abandoning the sinking ship, and very rapidly. No one wants to be associated with all that corruption.

It’s an Imperfect World

On the 6th day God looked at all He made and saw that it was good. Then, apparently not long after, Satan tempted Eve; Eve tempted Adam; Adam sinned, and it all changed. We, all of us have become astranged with God. God has begun working this out at the cross. However, the world is still far from perfect.

Satan is still the prince of the air. He is still going about the earth as a roaring lion, devouring those that he can. Pain, agony, death is still among us. Indeed, even within the best Christian person, evil thoughts linger. With prayer, we have to fight such things off daily, even by the hour.

If not for the grace of God, it would be far worse. If he simply took his hand away, this earth would become far worse, not only for mankind, but also for every living thing.

The liberals speak of man as destoying this planet, by polution, by destroying forests, by ruining the rivers, lakes and seas. In a way, it’s true. In a way, it is even Biblical. Everywhere man goes, he leaves his mark. It is undeniable. And so it will be until Jesus returns.

Ultimately, God will destroy it because of the evil of man. Then, He will build another, without sin, without evil. Best of all, there will be no death and the pain it envokes.

Until that time, sorry. The death and pain and the sorrow will linger. The tears will remain. It is the result of evil.

Ironically, some have suggested that the solution is more evil. Some even suggest we should kill, of all, the most innocent before they breath their first. Some suggest an evil form of government that denys the very presence of the vary one who can save it. Some individuals have claimed they have the answers, while all the time taking every dime you have. For sure, participating in the worst kind of evil.

Many survivorlists think the answer is isolation and preparation. I have news for them. Being human, the pain will follow. There is no running from it. Satan will follow, all the time, nipping at your hills.

I don’t pretend to have all the solutions. I don’t. I do know one thing. Adopting communism won’t work. It denys God. It will turn the bad to disaster. Not only is it historic, it’s prophetic. It is the path that leads to pain, suffering, and, eventually, death.
