Fairness

I have two dogs that have a sense of fairness. Any time I pet one, the other comes running over for attention. It’s a good thing I have two hands so I can pet them both at once. Naturally, when I give one a treat, I have to give the other a treat. It doesn’t matter where the other is in the house, when she hears me getting out a treat for the one the other comes running. And if I only have one bone it becomes a real problem. When I have but one bowl where I mixed tuna for my sandwiches, I have to give them turns or I will hurt the feelings of one of them. Actually, even that creates problems. The first one that has to wait just knows she won’t get hers. Then, of course, when I give the bowl to the other dog, the first one gets upset, but she does understand. They both know I was fair.

When I get the leash out, they just both know they are going to go on a walk but I always have to take them one at a time. When I get back from walking the first dog, the other is more than ready to go. Lately my leg is sore and my foot is swollen. I might have to go the doctor over it. At any rate when I got back with the first dog, I had to rest my leg a while. After about ten minutes, I took the second dog, then the first one thought it was her turn again.

I don’t know where they got their concept of fairness. Maybe it is because I’ve always tried to treat them fair. Maybe, in a sense they caught it from me.

The world in general is not fair, neither in the animal world nor in the business world. There are things that happen. When I was eleven, I broke my arm right in the middle of the baseball season. That was not fair in two respects. I did not get to play baseball and the major leagues never had a chance to see how well I played. All right. Maybe I wasn’t the greatest pitcher in the world, but I could throw the ball hard and I could place it within a four inch square consistently. (If I only knew how to throw a curve)

Fair not not, there are some people who do have some sense of fairness. Some will even give you a chance when you don’t deserve it. Then again, there are those who take the chance from you that you do deserve.

It is a shame that Biden does not have as much sense of fairness as my dogs do. There is just something wrong with man who can cheat on an election as he did. There is something wrong with a man who can copy another’s work and call it his own. (Some call that plagiarism; I call it thievery.) There is something wrong with a man that permits people to flow over the border when others work so hard to follow the rules. It is also unfair for those who already work here. The illegal aliens push the wages down of those who make their living by the sweat of their brow. By the way, unfair as it is, that usually means minorities. Hence he is unfair to those who need the fairness the most.

It is also true that it is unfair to deny others access to our land of plenty. However, if we allow everyone in here, it will not remain the land of plenty and we will no longer be able to provide help for peoples of other nations. We might even reach a point where we will not be able to help ourselves. Then who will help the starving?

It is true that we cannot pull others from the quicksand unless we first plant our own feet on solid ground.

A Suspect Property

I am not currently in the market for any property. However, I do have a little advice for those who are. If the house has a basement and the real estate agent tells you there is no need to look at it, be suspicious. Demand to see the basement! You might also want to look in the attic as well, no matter how much they object. Indeed, the more they object, the more suspicious you should be. To be sure if you buy any house without looking in all the nooks and crannies, you deserve any and all the problems you get from not inspecting them.

The above is casual to the most obvious observer. It is one of the simplest rules in buying property, or for that matter cars, boats, planes, etc.

Yet, the FOCs have been repeating over and over, “No need for to check for voting fraud. Everyone knows there is no fraud to see here.” Where are the suspicions? Why are people not demanding to see the evidence, even though it is obvious that many have disobeyed the law, fraud or not.

The hints are starting that Pennsylvania is thinking about doing an audit. Suddenly, Biden hops on Air Force One and says, “Nothing to see here folks let’s just move along. Besides, it is bad statesmanship to not accept the results of an election.”

I saw a Pennsylvania state representative say that after deciding to have a look at the Arizona audit, his phone virtually exploded with calls telling him not to do it. “Your wasting your time. There is nothing to see down there and so forth.” I guess that representative was supposed tell that pilot to turn that plane around. He made a mistake. He should have never boarded the plane.

Question: Why all the protesting if there is no fraud. If there is none, none will be found and the republicans, like me, will all just have red faces covered in egg. On the other hand, if there is fraud found, then what happens? What do we do? We can’t tell the current occupant of The White House to pack his bags and leave. May I remind one and all, we would be plowing into new territory. The Constitution and the law does not cover it. Yet we would, for the first time, be able to say for a fact that we have an illegitimate man in the oval office. (You notice that I did not use the term president because, in a way, he would not be president.)

If you go by natural law, Biden would go to prison. It doesn’t matter though. He never knows where he is anyway. It’s all those hangers on that are taking advantage of him that I’m concerned about.

May I remind one and all, Mrs. Clinton has not accepted the results of the 2016 election to this day. Gore is still smarting because he could not get the Supreme Court to accept his growing voter fraud…remember the chads. What’s her name, the woman that lost the governor’s race in Georgia. She still does not accept her loss.

I get it. Only the FOCs get to contest elections. If a person has an R after his name, sorry, not permitted. Not allowed. It is not the statesman thing to do.

To some degree, I do agree. Gore, Clinton and what’s her name from Georgia do not have much statesman ship. However, they sure know how to cheat.

By the way, speaking of things to hide, why isn’t Fauci in prison? Why is it that he gets away with financing a pandemic without answering for it.

To Take or Not to Take… the Vaccine. That is the Question.

I’m going to make this short, which will make at least some of you happy.

Fact, the vaccine is classified experimental. I cannot imagine forcing anyone to take an experimental drug of any kind, especially someone under 18. It has already been established that it does have side effects, especially on younger people. Moreover, the youth stand to be effected over a greater time.

My conclusion, it should be taken only and completely by free will. No one should be forced to take it for any reason, though I can see people in the health industry suggesting it.

Personally, I would feel horrible if I forced someone to take any drug and then that person had a severe reaction. Then again, I’m not most people. The dems don’t care if people have complications. They don’t even care when they die. And they paint themselves as the ones who care. Need I remind you of all those that died in the nursing homes because of the “caring” act of a few democrat governess.

By the way, my wife and I have both been vaccinated. By the way, I do find it appalling that people who share my opinion get censored by big tech. They have no business censoring anyone, certainly on this subject. They likely know little more than me, maybe less. Nonetheless, they should not take away a truly informed consent.

Compromise: Good or Bad?

Our national history is full of compromises from the beginning. Indeed The constitution has its share of them. The small sates believed the representation should be by state. The large states believed that representation should be by population. So, they compromised. The House is representation by number. The Senate was representation by state.

Perhaps the most well known compromise was about slaves. The south wanted the slaves to count in the census but they did not want them to be represented. The North threw a fit. First, they wanted the slaves to be represented, but if they weren’t, certainly they should not be counted on the census. So they compromised. Slaves were partially counted on the census but were not represented.

When I learned about this compromise, I found it disgusting, even though my family is from the south and most of them would not have agreed with me. I always found the concept of slavery revolting, though it began long before any white man set foot on this continent. And just for those of you who like to poke fun at the Bible, Abraham owned slaves…apparently many of them. Then again, the Bible does not record the history of perfect people. It just records the history, the bad right along with the good.

Then there was The Missouri Compromise. When I found out about it, I didn’t much care for that either. However, it did seem to be a way of keeping the nation from splintering but for a small time. The problem of slavery was a big one that simply did not seem to want to go away, no matter how many compromises.

Ironically, after a few more decades, the problem would likely start waning. With the industrialization, the slave would have become far less profitable, if I might use the heartless term. Steam had already come into its own with trains. It was only a matter of time before the tractors would replace the manual labor. Slaves would have been more of problem than an advantage.

To be sure, in some instances, it is more difficult to speculate about the past than the future. Maybe no one would have industrialized farming if they already had the slaves to do the work. There’s no real telling. All we know for sure is that the Civil War broke out and hundreds of thousands of men died on both sides. Eventually, the compromises failed and the war was inevitable. Besides the disagreement, there were those hot heads on both sides that just wanted to fight.

Regardless of what happened before, the war settled it. The slaves were free, though hardly any of them had any idea how to make a living. Black men and women could not read except for a few rare ones. The Northerners who were sent south for the reconstruction took advantage of that. They paid the Black man to vote, six, seven, eight times.

I think most reasonable people would find that a bad thing. Certainly those in the south did so they used a poll tax to discourage it. The north soon prevented poll tax, even though it was already legal in several northern states.

Later the south came up with a literacy test. This too was dropped by force, though I suspect it would be a very good idea. First, people that vote should know how to read. It does seem to be a simple requirement for such an important thing. Moreover, I suspect the schools would do a much better job of educating our youth, both white and Black if it became a requirement for voting.

Perhaps the worse thing that came out of the restoration of the south was the KKK. As so many such things, it began as a good thing. The carpetbaggers came down from the north taking anything and everything they could in the name of restoration. The south countered the only way they knew. After a few decades the KKK got our of hand and they had to send the FBI in to tame them, although they remained right up to the 1980s. And by the way, most of them were democrat. And by the way, it started out that their fight was not with the African-Americans but with the carpetbaggers.

And so it was, a couple small compromises made to keep the nation together almost caused them to separate. If the south had been more industrialized, indeed the US might today be in two separate parts.

There was another casualty of the whole thing. The Tenth Amendment, the one that reserves rights to the states and to the people. It has become very weak; even to the point that it is hardly brought up any more.

And now, today, the word compromise is all to often heard. When the FOCs want something, they ask for compromise. When the Republicans want a compromise, the FOCs simply dig their feet in and say no way. And so it is that every year we compromise a little more. Eventually, there will be no more room for compromise. The FOCs will have all they wanted and they will have gotten it all by compromise.

All the FOCs want is power. When they have it all, we just might want to bring the KKK back. The problem with that is that it will likely be too late. The FOCs will have all the guns. They will have used some kind of compromise to take them.

Hangers On

Occasionally, I write about the books I’ve written. I think this is okay especially considering that one relates to today’s subject, hangers on. The book is “The Prepper.” It is about a young man who spends years preparing for the possible doomsday. However, he gets hit right between his eyes by the present. Throughout the story he finds himself wishing he had prepared for this or that, for instance, he wished he had taken a class on criminology. He would have found the course very handy along for a few other things he did NOT prepare for.

At any rate, (slight spoiler alert) he comes upon a large sum of money and he finds that it brings on a number of folks, people who claimed to be friends, relatives and folks really good at managing large sums of money. Again, it is what I call hangers on. They are people without scruples who enjoy living off other peoples money.

These folks fall into three categories: friends and relatives, professionals such as money managers lawyers and pro moochers. These moochers know about “investments” and get rich ideas. Some have really nice inventions that will save the world…if they can just get some financial backing. Then, of course, there are those who know about these very real community needs.

Understand, I do understand that there are community needs. It just is that most of these hangers on make fortunes representing the needy and pocketing most of the donations.

Then too, the prepper had a problem with gold-diggers, women looking for rich husbands.

I find it absolutely amazing how people can instantly find reasons they need to hang on to people who acquire grate wealth, especially those who gain the wealth suddenly and in their youth.

So what is the purpose of the post? Let’s have a quick look at Britney Spears, a very wealthy woman who had squired many hangers on, of all things, including her father. If it weren’t for her millions, not one of them would have any interest in her.

Let’s get this straight. I am not one of her fans and I am sure she could have lived a far better life. However, I find it despicable the way that the hangers on cling to her. All of the lawyers, both hers and her fathers ought to be disbarred. None of them have her interest in mind and I understand that should be their primary concern, not their own treasure chest. Moreover, why in the world does it take three. Why should she pay for her father’s three lawyers.

Most of all, my biggest question is just what in the world was the court system thinking of to allow this mess.

Don’t get me wrong. I think our court system is the best in the world. However, I have taken note that it does get warped a little when money is involved. Just who was the judge who allowed this. I wonder just how his bank account affected by it.

Okay. I have no proof. Yet it happened right in front of the eyes of the American people. This is a disgrace to the justice system and it is a disgrace to all those who are hangers on. Perhaps, to a lesser degree, it is also a disgrace to the American people who permitted it.

As a side note: “The Prepper” is my best selling book. Of all I know who have read most of my books, they all say it is their favorite. You might want to preview the book. You might want to find out why it is my best selling.

Also, this just might explain why people consider lawyers a necessary evil. Isn’t it nice to know that most of those we vote into office are lawyers.

Two Undeniable Facts About Crime and Guns

I have said it before, but it bears repeating.

  1. Lock up all the guns and there will still be crime, some of those committing those crimes will still use guns. Some will be stolen, some smuggled in across a very porous border, and some will be homemade.
  2. Lock of most of the criminals, much of the crime will cease.

Maybe that is a good reason to lock up the criminals. Maybe that is a good reason to repeat this to all you know, and perhaps to a few you don’t know. Maybe that is a good reason to tell you friends and relatives. Maybe it is a good reason to tell your senators and representatives. Don’t bother telling Biden. It will only confuse him and he is confused enough already.

Then again, if a person is one of those who is a friend of criminals, also known as FOCs, also known as democrats, it just might encourage them to let more of the criminals out and there are already too many criminals on the street.

Maybe we should make the FOBs live among the criminals for a while…without guards. Maybe that would be a good way to reason with the dems. Nothing else seems to work.

By the way, while we are busy locking up the criminals, let’s make sure we lock up one of the worst, Fauci.

DeRoy Murdock Said Something Worth Repeating

The Dems like to say they want to compromise. Well DeRoy Murdock came up with an excellent idea, though he might not have meant it as a compromise.

The Dems claim that the people who live in Washington DC get taxed but they get no meaningful representation. Well, what Mr. Murdock suggest is that we don’t tax the people who legitimately live within the limits of district.

I would suggest that the Federal government would not miss the revenues and it would be good for the city. People might even move there in an effort to make money instead of bribing congressmen. To be sure, those who want to live outside city and lobby would not be eligible. They would actually have to move in and become residents year-round.

Now let’s see. It would drive the value of the land up. It would somewhat extract all the liberals out of Virginia and Maryland. Moreover, it might actually result in some industry the city besides politics and tourism. It would also free monies to go for city infrastructure.

The thing is, who knows what all would happen after a few capitalist decide to move in and replace the liberals. They might actually have a city befitting of our great nation.

Thing is, it will never happen. Like all good ideas, the dems won’t let it happen. Besides, what they really want has nothing to do with the representation of the citizens of the district. It is all about power. If the district were to be added as a state, the dems would pick up another representative and two senators. To them, that is power. So, never mind the great idea. Their idea of the important thing is to keep control of both chambers and the presidency. Then of course, they will want the Supreme Court as well. That way, their kingdom will be complete and no one will be able to stand against them, other than China.

Oh. Did I mention they already control the media. What little conservative media remains will have to transmit from a ship off shore. It will become Radio Free America. Invariably, it will need to put up with harassment from the Union of Socialist America

… for Political Gain

Over 500 thousand people have died from the China virus. The dems have decided to take advantage of it. How? To put subways near San Francisco. To raise the minimum wages. To build big bridges (if the bridge is needed, let it be funded by a separate bill. It has nothing to do with the virus.) To bail out state governments that know not how to run states. I’m sure you get the idea.

If these ideas are so good, let them become law in their own bills. If they cannot become law on their own, maybe they ought not become law. Might I remind you, the dems have House, Senate and White House.

As a side note, those who have read my past posts realize I seldom used the term China virus. Now that Biden has kept those in federal employment from using the term, I will use it every chance I have. Indeed I will use it when I have not a reason to use it. Moreover, I urge anyone and everyone to do the same. It would seem that he too has no problem capitalizing on the death and tragedy of Americans killed by, in essence, biological warfare.

One more note for Biden: He keeps complaining the previous administration left him nothing to fight the virus. That is an outright lie and he knows it. Had it not been for President Trump, he’d not have have the vaccine for another 3 or 4 years yet. More over, he had millions of doses the minute that he took the oath, which he doesn’t seem to respect much.

Acquitted… again

Let’s see.

First it was Russia, Russia, Russia. Not only acquitted but proved innocent!

Then there was the first impeachment, along with a few other smaller things along the way. Acquitted!

Then a second impeachment, this without an ounce of real evidence. Effectively tried in a kangaroo court with the dems setting all the rules. Even with the deck stacked against him, Acquitted…again!!

Will they ever get the hint? Can they ever figure it out. They have been trying to railroad him since he started running for president. Someone needs to tell the dems that it is much easier to convict a guilty person, that is, unless they have a D after his name. Democrats have no concerns, like Mr and Mrs Clinton and their Clinton Foundation, the one that made the Clintons millionaires. (The Clintons say they were poor when the left the White House. Where did all those comes come from?) Of course, Biden and his bunch have just followed suit while he puts thousands out of work and destroys the energy industry.

I could provide a list of others, but I believe I have established my pattern.

Impartial Judge

Now let me see. From what I understand, Patrick Leahy will be the unbiased judge during the impeachment trial. Now how is that going to work, being as he has already announced to the entire world that he is convinced that the former president is guilty, long before all the fact are known?

Then, of course, once the trial is over, he is supposed to leave the bench and assume the role of unbiased juror. Speak about twisted justice… At best, if the man is going to sit on the bench, he ought not sit in the juror seat… or visa-versa. It is just not right for one man to sit as both judge and juror. It is not the way the system is supposed to work. I suspect if it came down to it, he would also serve as prosecutor. That position, however is already full.

Then again, they are dummycrats. They can make anything work, legal or not, right or not. It’s all a staged show anyway. They are go through the motions as in a kangaroo trial. It would all be a funny joke if it weren’t so serious. This will have lasting effects on our system.

However, the fact is, it tells for more about the dems than about President Trump. Who else would stand the whole system on its head to make things work the way they want it to.

By the way, for those unable to figure it out on your own, Leahy will neither be an impartial judge or juror. It makes a mockery of the system and, in truth, by itself, nullifies the verdict.
