Color Me Surprised

For some time, I kept hearing about those Tennessee 3rd graders failing to meet third grade reading criteria would not be advanced to 4th grade. I thought little of it, though it did seem reasonable to me. The most important thing a child learn in early school is reading.

No one told me as much but I figured they would be holding back 3 to 5 percent. Then, I heard a news reporter casually say that 40 percent met the qualification.

Please! Please! Someone tell me the report was wrong or that my ears deceived me. If not, It does help me understand why Shelby County parents are trying to sneak their children into Desoto County schools.

Still, it would be far better if they fix their own schools. Somehow, I suspect that will not happen soon. I think they’re too busy teaching about going green or how bad Republicans are.

Frequently Asked Questions

On the subject of Frequently Asked Questions, I have this to say.  Are they truly frequently asked?  Out of all the times I have ever consulted frequently asked questions, I never found the one for which I needed an answer.  Worse yet, I could never find a category.  They always list 4, 5 or 6 categories, then “Other.”  Then when I look under other, I can’t find my question there either.  Not a thing comes close.

I guess that either makes me weird or their questions aren’t as inclusive as they would like to imply.  Moreover, it would seem that I am mostly on my own.  Frequently, I actually figure things out, though it takes some time.  On the other hand, I just tried to install a product that should have not taken over 3 hours to install.  I gave up after 16.  I don’t need any piece of software that I can’t install after 16 hours.  Moreover, it was also difficult to de-install.  Moreover, it was difficult to use.

Taught me a lesson or two.  Next time I am going to install something, I will make sure to mark the spot so I can return to whence I came.  Even that brings me angst.  I have not yet established much trust in the ability of the software that can restore that well.

Be that as I may, the whole thing prompted a thought.  Maybe the US government could establish a frequently asked question web site.  I’m not suggesting it would help much but it would be interesting just what questions they would post and what kind of answers they would concoct, for instance, “What is a woman?”

God’s law was clear, “Though shalt not murder.”  Simple.  Requires little in the way of explanation.  On the other hand, the government at every level has pages and pages on the subject.  Can you imagine querying murder on frequently asked questions?  Did you say you have a day or two to read the reply?

How about something on the subject of abortion.  No problem for the dems…any time, any place, by someone with an MD after his name.  No follow-up exam necessary.

Then, there is the matter of theft.  All you can get away with as long it has a value of less than a grand.  And, by the way, if someone stops you, you can sue their socks off, and get them too.

Contrary to the commandment, we are not to honor our parents.  The job of parenting has been turned over to the daycares, schools and colleges.  In short the government.  By the way, we’d better not forget it or the FBI will be after us.

Incidentally, if we ask who should be in control, it’s the dems.  We best not forget that either or we will be tossed in the hoosegow and we’ll not see the light of day for years, if ever.

I guess it would be a bad idea to look for that on the FAQ list.  They will look for you and prohibit you from publishing a book, being on TV or radio.  Your name will instantly be mud, perhaps literally.

Incidentally, lest I forget, bribes too are wrong, even the ones that are completely legal. The Bible does make that perfectly clear. You wouldn’t doubt what this had you read the entire Bible. It really is in there, plain and simple to see for all. It says something about the way bribes cloud judgement. I am sure that is indisputable, even if you do not believe what is written.

Self-destructive

It would seem no one else need destroy our country. Apparently, our tendency is to destroy ourselves. After years and years of fighting to get the advertising of tobacco off TV and radio, we now allow the advertising of Marijuana products on TV on prime time.

This is, of course besides all the drugs and poison we permit across our border. This, of course besides the criminals and terrorists we permit daily in among us with little or no restrictions.

Just guess we want to destroy all that our forefathers built. Once we succeed, we will just be a brief story in history that the future children just might study in schools. Then again, future historians just might cover up the history so well that any thought of by the people will totally cease.

It would seem to be the goal of the dems.

The Tenth Amendment

Many know not what it says or what it is for. Frequently, it is ignored. In some cases, methods are invented to get around it. When politicians in DC wanted to make all the states set a 55-mph speed limit, they were well aware that it would not get by the Tenth Amendment. No problem. the used the power of highway funding. Any state that would not drop the limit to 55, would lose the federal highway funding. So much for the spirit of the tenth amendment. It would seem that any time they want to nullify the amendment, they just make the appropriate threats. The feds, specifically the dems get around the tenth to control our schools. That’s a bad idea. The feds should have very limited control over schools.

Today, the Tenth Amendment has become the least effective amendment and it should be one of the most enforced. Today, our federal system is on the brink of collapse because most people just simply don’t know how important the amendment is. More and more, power is being transferred to the feds. it is just exactly what the founding fathers feared and for good reason.

For those who have no problem with the feds (effectively the dems) running everything, consider these two questions. How has it worked so far? How well will it work in the foreseeable future?

Well, let me add one more. Do we really want the feds determining how our children are being brainwashed? Do we really want our kids filled with a heap of false propaganda? (Actually, to some degree, this has already started.)

A Thought

Most of us, even non-Christians know that the tribulation will soon follow the rapture. Some of the best known scholars have some disagreement on the timing but I do believe I’m in good company by saying that soon after Jesus removes His own, the worst 7 years on this planet will soon follow.

Personally, I suspect that it won’t be instantaneous, though it well may be. Admittedly, I’m speculating a tad.

The following question assumes that the tribulation soon follows the rapture. It is logical. Just what might happen if all of a sudden, there are no more Christians in the world? With no Godly people in the governments just what could be expected. With no Godly teachers in our schools, what would be taught? With no Godly businessmen or lawyers, what can be expected.

Don’t you suppose the criminals would run wild as criminals would be running law enforcement? What can be expected when the demon possessed are in charge? Can we really expect anything less than tribulation.

Then I look at what the dems are doing today and there is but one conclusion I can come to. It would seem we are already in pursuit of that time. The foundations are being set.

If you should be one of those left behind after the rapture, don’t be surprised if things turn very bad vary fast. It is foretold. You have been foretold. There will be no one to blame but yourselves.

The Inevitable Result of the Pipeline

It is one of those old laws so to speak of the pipeline. If what you put in is bad, most likely what you get out the other end will be bad. So let’s take a quick look at the pipeline and what we are putting in and just what is coming out.

We put in children from broken Godless homes. We send them through schools where no one can say anyting about God, or even speak the truth about good and evil without someone losing his job. We teach that mankind has no greater importance than a whale, porpoise or ape, and the kids come out believing all things they are taught.

If a person is no more than an animal, but more intelligent and with apposing thumbs: if all man is doing is destroying plants, animals and the climate, then why not believe he has improved the world by destroying some of the horrible human inhabitants?

Don’t all animals go around killing others, even of their own type? Why shouldn’t men kill other men? We are only soulless animals as all the others.

Indeed, as a society, we kill even the youngest and most innocent. Joe speaks as if it is our duty kill babies before they have a chance to breathe the air we breath, to be sure, before they are protected by law.

If there are any statistics, I suspect they would prove at least 8 out of 10 killers come from broken homes where the Bible was never read.

And so it would seem that I’m blaming broken homes for all the shootings. Nothing could be farther from the truth. God tells us we each are responsible for our own actions.

After all, Eve blamed the snake. Adam blamed Eve and even implied God was guilty because He made Eve for him.

Mankind always looks for excuses, a way out. Yet, when we do we always make things worse. So, Joe tries to blame the weapon instead of the shooter. That makes about as much sense as Cain blaming the rock for his killing Able. You notice even Cain was not that dumb.

I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it till the day I die. The time to pray is before the disasters. Afterwards is too late. But then, the government won’t let us pray beforehand, only after.

So, the pipeline made up of broken homes and atheist schools keeps turning out kids who know not the difference between good and evil. To that degree, society is guilty. How can they know right from wrong when no one is permitted to teach them.

AOC Was Right

As hard as it might be to believe, she was right. It does give credence to the adage that the old broke clock is precisely correct twice a day.

She said most don’t know what capitalism is. Most don’t know what socialism is.

The fact is most Americans would not know the difference if their lives depended on it. It’s a shame because their freedom and their lives do depend on it.

Now I have a question for the congresswoman. If she knows the difference, why does she prefer the worse. It is not that difficult to known which is better.

Just maybe it is that she does know. Just maybe she wants to be part of the elite, formally known as the royalty.

My suggestion is that we all learn the benefits of capitalism before losing our freedom.

Remember, loss of liberty is one generation away. People such as AOC have the desire to take it from us. …and, by the way, she has many comrades. Comrades is cohorts for the commies.

As an aside, AOC ought not brag. The reason most people can’t tell the difference is because the education system failed to teach them. Just another good reason for school choice. Do we really want to send out children to schools that fail or refuse to teach?

Using school choise is an effective form of capitalism. The good schools thrive. Those that can’t or won’t teach fail. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Then again, it just might be AOCs desire to keep our children ignorant.

I’m Confused

If colleges continue to shut down for China virus, I can’t imagine anyone paying tuition to go to college if they won’t be able to go to college.

On the other hand, it is pretty profitable to charge young men and women to remain home. Moreover, that would save dorm fees. It also has the advantage of having Mom do the laundry and such.

Another drawback the students would have is they might get stuck with the old daily chores.

Enough . The bottom line question is, “Will they learn anything? “

Of course not. We are, after all referring to American colleges. Why should we expect them to teach anything other than socialism and how to demonstrate?

Chemical is the C In NBC

One of the first things I learned about in the Marines was the meaning of NBC symbols I saw here and there. When I asked, I was told it stands for nuclear, biological and chemical… as in warfare.

To be sure we should be diligent about the nuclear aspect, but we ought not ignore the other two.

Lately, there is the new fear of the hypersonic missiles while most want to ignore the biological weapon China just released on us. I am not writing about that — as it would be redundant. I already did that.

On the other hand I want to consider the C, chemical warfare. To be sure, we are under chemical attack by China. They decided to use drugs, especially fentanyl.

They don’t release it into our water or food supplies as has been feared. With our safeguards, that would be too difficult and risky. I mean, what if they were caught. The world would instantly condemn them and, as a nation, they would quickly become insignificant.

So they provide it to the Mexican cartels and allow them to get rich whilst we, mostly our precious youth, take the poison willingly, or rather eagerly.

This they do whilst we and the world stand by and watch. To be sure, the FOCs outright cheer it on. (And they claim they are the party of the commoner)

Indeed it is far more effective than poisoning our food or water. It doesn’t just kill the one who takes it; but also it destroys the primary building blocks of all civilizations, the families. To be sure, it is also decimating our justice system. Half of all law enforcement endeavors involve drugs in one way or another. It has clogged our courts.

If we could stop drug abuse, this country would become far better overnight, if not sooner. That means one of the primary goals should be to stop the inflow of the poison. This would include but not limited to, an ultimatum to the Chinese. After all, they are the primary source of the poison and they are the nation waging the chemical warfare on us. It might also be a good idea to send some troops south to deal with those cartels. We need to teach them them the cost of crime.

Most important during a war. Don’t help the enemy. It is sort-of common sense.

Panic in Virginia

It looks like the Friends Of the Criminals are pulling out all the stops in Virginia. Could it be that they fear a loss for their beloved candidate for governor, the one that believes that parents have no part in the education system. The latest polls indicate it is about a dead heat, which, naturally means that they are behind. You know how those pollsters like to fudge a little for the FOCs.

Someone suggested bringing in O.O.O.O. Biden to bolster the FOC position. Another, with more wisdom, spoke up, “No we don’t want to do that. We’ll lose by five points for sure.”

To be sure, even if the FOCs squeak by, it will still be a loss for them in a way. If they don’t win big in a big blue state right next to DC, they might have trouble winning anywhere come the 2022 elections. They certainly don’t want anyone to think such a thing… not when they are having so much fun spending all our money.

note: for those who do not understand the abbreviation O.O.O.O., it stands for Occupier Of the Oval Office. I still don’t believe he won the election. If Hillary can say she won, then I can say Biden lost. I have more proof than she does.
