If colleges continue to shut down for China virus, I can’t imagine anyone paying tuition to go to college if they won’t be able to go to college.
On the other hand, it is pretty profitable to charge young men and women to remain home. Moreover, that would save dorm fees. It also has the advantage of having Mom do the laundry and such.
Another drawback the students would have is they might get stuck with the old daily chores.
Enough . The bottom line question is, “Will they learn anything? “
Of course not. We are, after all referring to American colleges. Why should we expect them to teach anything other than socialism and how to demonstrate?

There should be a reduced cost for online or remote learning as the costs are not as much. Then again quality teaching and removing frivolous degrees would also be a good thing. The deputy premier of queensland apparently has a doctorate in unions and if that isn’t a relatively useless degree then what is.
