We Squeaked by and Didn’t Know It.

I saw the congressional meetings where they questioned the current attorney general. I have come to the conclusion that we have a lot to thank the Lord for as well as the minority leader of the Senate. The current AG, who was just almost became a Supreme Court justice, not only leans hard left; but also he hasn’t a clue as to what is going on. Maybe, perhaps, he had some good clerks that helped him look good. He certainly didn’t look good today.

Mostly, he is one of those guys that never answers the question posed but rather the question he wants to answer. in one instance, I saw him try to turn a simple yes/no question into a 15 minute dissertation. I know someone trained him to say that in the hopes of making him appear well versed in the law. Instead he appeared lacking in common sense.

To think Obama wanted to appoint the man, to think Biden did appoint him. It makes the former president as well as the current one look pretty bad.

Three Reasons the IRS Will Never Go Away

  1. Power. The tax laws have ways of controlling the way we live. When they provided tax shelters for all kinds of interest, people went into debt, even with credit cards. Then we deducted the interest from our taxes. Now, of course, interest is not so deductible. Now it is limited to our homes and then that is limited. If the dems have their way, the rich will again be able to deduct the interest for their mansions and perhaps for their yachts. I mean a person can live on a yacht, even if it is a 2 or 3 million dollar land yacht.
  2. Power. While specific info on one person is not yet available to congress, general info is. The government can tell where we make our money, where we spend our money and even a little about our health, thanks to Obama Care. This info is power and the dems just love power.
  3. Power. (I know. It is getting a little repetitious.) Congress collects money and they spend it. The more they collect and spend, the more power they have. And congress, no matter which side of the isle, loves the power they get from spending money.

Now with all that, you would think I am in favor of doing away with the IRS. Not so. That is to say, unless they pass an amendment disallowing it. If we did away with the IRS and replace it with a sales tax, it would not be long that we would have both. Then the government would be hitting us from both directions: earning and spending.

Wait a minute. I guess they already do. The feds do collect 1% sales tax; they collect gas tax as well as a few other things. Besides, the state and local government gets the sales tax. And by the way, most states get us from both directions, sales and income. It sort of makes me wonder how we manage to hold onto any of our earning for ourselves.

And so it it is, we give them the money and they take our freedoms. Then they spend our money one things that don’t work, such as modern education like CRT. At the same time, they refuse to spend it where it does work, like on border walls and law enforcement.

I do find it odd that the FOBs just love things that don’t work, like windmills and solar cells. Then they refuse to let us develop energy sources like natural gas, oil and atomic energy. Do you suppose that they like the idea of making our nation a third world country.

Well, at least it would solve the border thing. If they are successful, all the illegal aliens will start leaving, and maybe a few of our citizens. Let us hope that includes all the FOCs

Bribes

Some of you might remember me visiting the subject of bribes. There are the legal but unethical bribes provided by lobbyists. Then there are the book deals. Some congressman supposedly writes a book and then wholesales it off. The purchaser, picks up the books and then they set in some warehouse. There is no intention of distributing them beyond that. Then, of course, the congressman does what he can to help the one who bought the books.

Maybe it is the other way around. First the favor is done, then the books are sold. Same difference.

Now, Biden put a twist to the book thing. His son sells paintings for half a million. Then, Biden sees to it that whoever bought the books gets treated very well. When the AG was asked about it, he was covered. He doesn’t comment on open investigations.

Let us look at this way. If the AG were honest and had a backbone, Biden’s son would not have tried to sell the paintings. He would have realized it would lead to some time in the big house for both him and his father. To be sure, if he did try to pull off the scam, the charges would already be made. No one would have to ask about the investigation. It would already be as obvious as the big nose on my face.

Bribes are something you get with dishonest people in government. It is why you should not put corrupt people in office. When you do put dishonest people in government, you should not be surprised that paintings that are not worth a dime are sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Then, naturally, after the paintings are purchased, after the money has changed hands, the paintings are tossed onto a trash heap.

As for the blind sale, it’s bogus. If I were to approach Biden and ask a certain thing and promise a certain painting will be purchased, Biden and his son would not care who purchased the painting or why.

The Bible talks of bribes and it does not speak well of them. They are not new, though some have gotten a little trickier about the way they go about it.

Looking For More Mens

I know it is improper grammar but I have heard it said before and I think, in this case it is apropos.

I went into McDonald’s and tried to order at the counter. They said, due to lack of personnel (a proper way of saying mens) we would have to order at the kiosk. I told her that I have tried to use the things before without any success. She told me that I had to use the computer to order.

So I went over to the kiosk and tried to order three times without success. I mean I am reasonably persistent. However, logic told me that it would do me little good to continue. I told the woman we would need to go somewhere else. She became impatient with me and went over to kiosk and proceeded to show me how easy it was.

GUESS WHAT? Your right. It didn’t work for her either. She was persistent too. She tried twice on one kiosk and once on two more kiosks.

I can’t blame the woman. To be sure, every one is trying to find more mens. It is literally the FOCs’ fault. They have decided to pay people for doing nothing. So they sit at home and do nothing.

It was, to be sure, the convergence of two problems. The dems and the people who wrote the programing for the kiosk. Maybe I err. It is very possible that it might have been those who made the specifications for the kiosks. Either way, the programming is full of bugs and they just don’t work as advertised.

After working around computers all my life I’d guess it is simply trying to get too fancy. They have all these beautiful pictures up there to help make people hungry and they forget the purpose of the thing… to make it easy to order food.

So, if you are looking on McDonald’s Corp, this is the way I would like it. The screen is large enough to show the whole menu at one time. First, there should be a list off all the menu items. To the left would be a a plus and minus sign. To increase or decrease the count, the customer presses one or the other. Simple. I’m sure there would be dozens of ways to deal with special orders. If nothing else, if four cheeseburgers are being ordered, four lines could be temporarily displayed. pseudo-buttons could be displayed on each line for deleting onions and or mustered, etc.

I am not a professional programmer and I am sure, given a couple of months, I could write such a program in a month or so. It’s not that hard. Like they say in computer programming; keep it simple, stupid. (KISS) Every time you make something more complex, you increase the chances of it malfunctioning. Also, in this case, you make it harder to operate.

Worse yet, instead of saving employee time, it cost this employ about twenty minutes. Then, when it was all over, she had to resort to the old way anyway.

Fixing the kiosk might be McDonald’s idea of resolving the problem. As for me, I’d rather give my order to a human. By the way, a reminder. Some people don’t complain. They just walk out and go somewhere else. It is normally the easiest way of resolving the problem.

As for the more mens problem, let’s just vote the FOCs out of office. The manning levels will then take care of themselves.

Crises vs Crises

Now, let’s see. We have diseased people and criminals flowing over our border. We still have hundreds, maybe thousands of Americans and Afghans who were helpful to us in danger in Afghanistan hiding for their lives. We have thousands of containers stranded on who knows how many ships. There are hundreds going through the stores taking whatever suits their fancy, needed or not. We’re losing police, doctors, nurses and firemen by the hundreds due to mandatory vaccinatins. Note: We are not losing so much as 1 politician or lawyer.

However, it would seem the only thing Biden his FOCs are interested in are global warming and the new green deal.

Six Important Facts to Remember About Governments

  1. The more money you give to a government, the more power it will have.
  2. The more power you give a government the less freedom you will have.
  3. The less freedom you have the more money the government will demand.
  4. The more money the the government demands, the less money you will have.
  5. The more power the government has, the more they will demand.
  6. The more power the government has, the less power the people have.

Hence, the government is neither of the people nor by the people, but rather by tyrants who will tell us what to do and when to do it. The right to assemble or protest will cease. It is exactly the way of the dems. When they promise change, it is exactly what they have in mind. They desire to take your money, your power and your freedom.

A Slick Idea

Currently, if Biden and Kamala were to resign, Pelosi would become president. It means we need to wait until after the 2022 election. Then we elect President Trump as Speaker of the house. (Speakers need not be a representative) This might be difficult being as there are a number of never-Trumpers in the House.

Still, if we can manage it, all that would be required would be to get Biden and Kamala to resign. Then, Trump goes back into the presidency and he starts fixing all the things Joe messed up. Now isn’t that slick. Not only that it would cause the extreme left to start climbing walls.

There are but three problems with the idea. Joe is really good at messing things up and he can do a lot of damage in a year. Second, Joe and Kamala would likely never resign. Third, republicans don’t do things like that.

On the other hand, the FOCs would not hesitate for a second if the situation were reversed. It sort of makes a person wonder why anyone would vote for them. And yet they do. On the other hand, the former president just might make a good speaker.

Questions for the FOCs

If there are so many that want the 4T bill, why do they have to do so much arm twisting to get it passed?

If there was no cheating on the election, why do they want to bury all the evidence? Why is it they don’t want the forensic experts to see it? Could it be that they know that it was not on the up and up?

Why is it that Biden doesn’t answer questions?

If they did such a good job in Afghanistan, why is it that they no longer want to talk about it? Seems to me, if they did so well, they would want to brag about it. Oh. Wait a minute. They did and that did not go over well.

Now let me see. Just why is it again that we need to spend 4.5 trillion dollars? Just who is it that has read the bill? Actually, at this point, I don’t even think it is done. Surely they will compete it before they pass it.

Just why is it that Kamala likes to laugh so hard at serious questions?

Just why is it that we need to build recharging stations all over the US. If we do and no one buys the electric cars, who will use them? Who will maintain them? For that matter, who is going to make money off them? Could it be the friends of the FOCs?

I’m sure you can think of a few questions I haven’t. However, the biggest question of all, how are we going to get them to answer any question? It is sort of like the FOCs. They never like answering questions, especially those that probe real problems. ?

A Much Better Compromise

I understand the Minority Leader’s concern for buckling here. There was an awful lot of pressure on those two senators. However, he should not have completely given in here. He should have made it contingent on restoring the border to the way it was under Trump. He should have required the walls to be completed. That would have accomplished something, maybe. It actually would have saved lives. Moreover, it would have exposed Biden’s open borders.

Wait a minute. I don’t think that McConnell would have liked that. If my memory serves me, he was not so much in favor of the wall. There were a few republicans who didn’t like the idea of cutting off the cheap labor.

I guess he could have used the alternative. He could have insisted on continuing the pipelines, drilling and fracking, including New York. This would have helped a lot. It would have helped to bring down the price of oil. It would have put people back to work and it would have made the US energy independent again.

Then again, the FOCs might not like that. They like us dependent on others, especially Russia and China. They might have preferred to let us default. Either that, or the dems would have done the increase in debt by themselves.

At least that would have exposed the FOCs for what they are, a bunch of power hungry characters that would prefer to allow death than to permit energy independence.
