Socialism is Older Than the U.S.A.

Though many will not believe me, it is true. When the Mayflower landed, they tried socialism, though it isn’t what it was called. If you believe me not Google “Pilgrim socialism.” As far as I know, the Pilgrims were the first to try socialism and they almost died because of it. They likely would have if they hadn’t changed their ways.

Over the years, many others tried it. There was even anther attempt at it in the US before autos came along. It failed too. There was a lot of hoopla as they started setting things up. Then, as usual, people found out they could get food without working for it. Others found out they were carrying the load while others remained idle. Those who worked left, which left nothing but the freeloaders that socialism encourages. It didn’t last but a few years.

It is something of an advantage of our country. Individual groups, cities and even states can try things. If it fails, the nation remains. If such a bad plan is attempted nationwide, it could mean the fall of the nation.

I guess it is what we can say today about NY, NY and California. They have tried socialism and it is failing horribly. And so it is that people are leaving and going elsewhere as fast as they can pack up and find a U-Haul. Those that remain are ether not able to leave, or they are the freeloaders. The first time since California became a state, it has lost population in the census. That is something, considering they have the best weather in the country, as well as the biggest trees and some right sizable mountains. By the way, the state also has a sizable shoreline too. And, naturally, who would want to leave Disneyland behind.

Actually, it was tried in Russia too. Guess what, they went bankrupt. It was only because of aid from the US that they didn’t just almost starve to death before it all got started. Also, without our help, Germany just might have incorporated them into the German nation. Remember your history, Hitler’s army was withing miles of Moscow.

Hitler didn’t like the communists in case you didn’t know that. Even before he consolidated power within Germany, he had his skirmishes with them. As for why he didn’t like them? My best guess was that they were competition for control of the country… and for the world. I doubt that politics really figured into it, but it made something of a story to sell to his countrymen.

Actually, both communism and Nazism are very similar. They are both a form of socialism. They just had different names and different leaders. None-the-less, Hitler drove the communists from Germany and established his rule. Then, he went about trying to expand it. Actually, it was the same thing that Lenin and Stalin did a few years earlier in Russia.

In both cases, the socialism was not the goal but rather it was for control, the dictatorship. There never was a real socialism and there would have never been one. IF he tried to set a true socialism up, Hitler would have failed before he began.

However, throughout the world, there were the idealists. Many of them were from Russia; many from Germany. Before the Second World War, there were Russian and German sympathizers in the US. Some were trying to get us to help Russia. The others were trying to get us to help Germany. I don’t guess too many realize that right up until Peal Harbor, we were selling things to Germany.

Why in the world would a good country like the US do something like that? Well, as I said, there were those sympathizers. However, mostly it wasn’t so idealistic. The big corporations loved the money. By the way, we were also doing a whole lot of business with Japan too. (Sound familiar. We are doing an awful lot of business with China today, to my dismay.)

When war broke out, many of the German sympathizers were rounded up by the FBI. Others remained but were afraid to do much public sympathizing. However, the communists remained to operate clandestinely.

So, while we fought one socialist dictatorship, we helped another dictatorship. We had Soviet agents within the US waiting for their chance. At the end of the war, they took advantage of that chance. Many today look down on Sen. Joseph McCarthy, but he really did do this nation a lot of good. Sometimes he did go a little to the extreme, but we just might have become another one of those nations that tried communism under the rule of the USSR had he not done what he did.

In truth he did find many agents. He did help to clear our armed forces and defense contractors of foreign agents. To be sure, he awakened us to what was going on. Afterword, the word communism left a bad taste in the mouths of most Americans. This was enhanced with the USSR setting off their first atom bomb. The Soviets became a nation to fear. Then they started their new expansions into China and eastern Europe. Without hesitation, they killed with no reason anywhere they could. It was the vicious side of the “Reds” as they got to be know. Then, to cap it all off, Khrushchev stood in the UN and said, “We will bury you,” speaking of the US. He meant it. The plans were in place before WWII. He said that he would take us over without firing a shot. Folks, he meant every word of it. Today, many don’t remember. Many were not around to see it.

We fought two wars to stop it, Korea and Vietnam. Many of our men died, not so many of theirs. Mostly, it was their sergeants who gave their blood for the cause of the Soviets.

Again, they had no real interest in communism, nor did they have any interest in politics in general. They had but one goal, to spread the Soviet Union to include the entire world. And of course, they would be the leaders of the world. They would have all the power, and likely they would fight among themselves.

World rule is older than socialism. It began back before Egypt and Babylon. Soon Jesus will return for His church. After the rapture, there will not be so much as one Christian left on earth. Just think of what kind of world that will be.

Those Christians today who the world treats so badly and whom they scoff are helping to keep this world bearable. One day soon, they’ll be gone. Do you really want to see a world like that? Do you really want to see a world where the ungodly are allowed to rule and run free without restraint.

In the meantime, let’s try to restrain those who like socialism, globalism and total control by those who are power hungry, by those who kill without hesitation. If they preach socialism, remember this, what they really want is total power.

Some People Are So Gullible They Believe Anyone

You take for instance the idle worshiper. He actually feels that that rock is going to help him. He goes to it for advice consolation and of course in offering of gifts.

On the other hand, there are those who believe the government (AKA democrats) will take care of all their needs. Oddly, some feel that it is all owed to them. All they have to do is keep those dems in office and all will go well. Hence, they will do lie, cheat and defraud to insure that they have Big brother in there to provide for them their handout. For those that have some reasoning left, that only lasts until they have their dictatorship set up. Then it will be the dems who will be doing all the receiving. Those that voted them in will have absolutely no say, no money, no food, and, of course, no medical.

It does all seem to be sort of the same thing. However, the fact is that the rock might be more helpful. It isn’t trying to control what you do, what you say or what you think, which is the desire of the dems.

Lest anyone get the wrong idea that I am encouraging rock worship, I am just saying, rocks are less dangerous. They have no desire to take over and rule the world, like Lenin, like Mao, and yes, like Hitler.

The Minimums

I didn’t really watch the debate last night. First, I don’t have cable so I couldn’t. Second, it didn’t seem I would learn anything new to me. However, I did see bits and pieces on the broadcast channels, mainly CBS.I noticed that there were some remarks about abortion. I don’t know why people are so deadest on allowing the killing of the unborn under any circumstances and, of course at taxpayers expense.Those who have been reading my posts know what I think. However, just for those who don’t know, I believe at least 4 requirements should be made, preferably at the federal level.

1. Every mother should be required to see a sonogram. They say it is a medical procedure. Well all medical procedures require informed consent. If the patient is not informed, how can she give her informed consent?

2. Doctors, nurses, and facilities should meet minimum standards to prevent complications. The pro-abortion people try to use the concept of hanger abortions to further their case. Well, let’s make sure that if it is done, it should be safe. As of now, using a hanger is legal in some states.

3. Proper followup should be required. The doctor performing the abortion should at least make a cursory examination to make sure there were no complications. Most doctors want to do followups even for simple stitches to check for proper healing and that there is no infection. Complications in abortions are far more common than with stitches.

4. For girls under 18, parent permission should be required. At the least, they should be informed. If things go sideways, the parents are going to pay for the extra medical care required, which can be very expensive. More important, they need to know to look for problems so that they can be treated right away…before they become serious, perhaps fatal.

As kind of a side note: if there are problems, the doctor should be every bit as liable as any other physician. It helps in two ways. The doctor will be more careful. Also, if the doctor caused a problem due to criminal negligence, he needs to be prosecuted.

In my previous post, I said I could not find the quote. Well I did. It was on CNN by Dana Bash. Others might have said it too, but, according to Fox News and the Internet, she did make the statement though I did not get it exact.

What she said was “Taking politics aside, if you change the name from Hunter Biden to Joe Smith, you would say, ‘You know what, that’s not fair.'”

Truth is if his name was Joe Smith, all those from other countries would not have given him 20 million. Fact is, it was because his name was Hunter Biden that he got all the money. It was because he relied on the name while he made the deals. If his name had been Joe Smith, he would not have been able to make two cents.

That is why it is a bribe. That is why it is and should be illegal. That is why both he and his father ought to take up residency in a federal pen. However, it is because of reporters like Dana Bash that they likely won’t. That’s okay. They won’t get away with it. Whatever they don’t pay for in this life, they will suffer for in the next. By the way, that goes for the Dana Bashes (reporters) of the country. They will pay for their part too. They know that they are all part of the aiding and abetting squad. They all know that they have all taken their part in false witnessing.

Hen Houses and Foxes

There is an adage, “Like the fox watching the hen house.” I should not have to explain it but I will. There is an element of society that just might not remember it. They just might not know what it means. In the old days, on the old farms, the farmers used to have problems with foxes getting into hen houses and killing the hens. Hence, it would be considered a bad practice to put foxes in the hen houses to protect the hens.

Now why should I bring this up. Well our neighborhood dems have done it. That’s right. They have just put the fox in charge of protecting the chickens. Can’t figure out why.

Well to be honest, it is not quite a match as a metaphor. It is somewhat opposite even. Weiss was just appointed special prosecutor. Now that’s dumb. They just appointed the prosecutor that was willing to give Hunter Biden the sweetheart deal. Does anyone really think that Weiss will raise his little finger in an effort to convict Hunter. Certainly, he will very carefully avoid any possibility of dragging the liar in chief into the investigation.

Besides, we all know the outcome from the beginning. Hunter has his father father by the short hairs of his neck. No one has said as much. I have absolutely no proof, but I suspect that Hunter somehow told dear old pops that if he spends one day behind bars then so will Pops. Hence, Old Joe will make sure Hunter, his beloved son will not spend one day in prison.

Hence, my guess is that Weiss and his crew will spend the next 5 to 7 months partying on the funds allotted to him. Then, Weiss will come out to the podium and announce that Hunter was addicted to drugs but has done nothing worthy of being prosecuted. By then, the nation will be buried in a campaign and no one will care about the likes of Hunter.

Then again, Weiss just might surprise us all. He might actually do the job that he was appointed to. He just might prove Hunter guilty and he might even implicate Old Joe. In an effort to save his career, he just might lose it. He just might end up penniless where all the bums hang out. He will be able to brag he took down a big criminal in court and for that, he has been relinquished from the courts of royalty.

Somehow, I don’t think Joe is worried about that. My guess is that Weiss knows his place and what is expected of him. Old Joe and his family have nothing to fear. The fox is in the hen house and he will see to that no harm comes to the chickens or Old Joe.

Now why did I use that metaphor? It just doesn’t work. Still you get the idea.

What to do When I don’t Know Who to Vote for

I try to keep up with the politics and the politicians. The fact is that, even a retired person like me can’t totally keep up. This is especially bad here in Desoto County, which is so close to Memphis. The local stations are too expensive for many of the Mississippi elections and, well, very frequently I might not know if a person is advertising for Tennessee, Desoto County or even Arkansas. Oddly, many of the advertisers seem think I know. They tell the office they are running for, but never the state. Best I can do in a situation such as that is just look the name up on the internet. More often than not, he’s from Tennessee.

However, I always have a fallback I can rely on. It’s rarely wrong. Whoever it is that the media is in favor of, he’s the one I vote against.

Then too, there is one more thing that helps. If he has an R after his name. That works well too.

Ain’t Such a Bad Idea

More than once I’ve heard it said that Trump is running for president to stay out of prison. If he don’t belong there, sound’s like it t’ain’t such a bad idea. It sounds pretty sound to me. If it works he can start putting some of the dems where they belong. He just might start by firing the better part of the Justice Department leadership. Also he can fix our borders and keep the drugs and cartels out. He can start driving the price of oil down, as it should be, which will stop the war in Ukraine instantly. If Putin has no money, he can’t fight his war. It might even encourage the Ruskies to find another leader.

Yeah. If that is President Trump’s strategy, I can live with that. Maybe a few more will live with it too. Not so much dying. Clearly, the dems don’t mind a few hundred thousand dying. It does not seem to have bothered Old Joe any at all. Haven’t heard him say two words about it. Haven’t heard the dems say anything about it. All they care about is stopping Trump, no matter what it takes.

What Is Life Worth?

From time to time, I make references to my books. Why not? I’m allowed to. Besides, all those who are well known do it. They use whatever platform they have to encourage people to buy books. Why shouldn’t I?

This book is somewhat different. I didn’t and still don’t feel as if I should write it. The subject, the concept was so important to me that I tried to get others to write it. I do not feel as if I did properly impress on society the importance involved. I’m just not that good with words.

At any rate, the name of the book is, “Project Age.” Hopefully, without giving away too much of the plot, there is a portion in which Congress finds out that project age is about a chemical which slows the aging process significantly.

Which brings me to my point. Just how much would such a product be worth? How much would people be willing to pay for it? Let’s get a little personal. How much would you be willing to pay for it? I suspect that some would pay thousands of dollars for a monthly supply. I am sure that there are those willing to pay tens of thousands for a weekly supply. I don’t know. I suppose there are those willing to pay millions to live just a few more days.

Then, there is another question. If the chemical is scarce, why should you get it instead of the guys that haul our garbage off? Is the life of a congressman worth more than a teacher’s? The fact remains, I am sure that every member of congress, senators and representatives, would make sure they got their supply. I mean, we all know their lives are very important. Besides, they would have the power to get the stuff, even if their lives were worth nothing.

Sorry. That’s just the way it works in our society. Actually, it’s the way it works in all civilizations. Those on the throne get the benefits. The rest of us simply get the the left overs.

Contrary to what honest Abe said, we now have a government by lawyers, of the lawyers and for the lawyers. They write the laws, they pass the laws and they benefit from the laws. If you don’t believe me, try passing a law for term limits. Not going to happen. Does not benefit the lawyers who hold office or the mass of the staffs.

Going back to project age, to be sure, the lawyers would likely benefit the most from the chemical. The lawyers would pass laws that would see to it. I have a word for any representative who would say otherwise, liar. Indeed, those who would not admit it would be the first to come up with a reason that they should be first in line, even if there were but ten doses. Then again, it is how it works. Aren’t they and their families the first to benefit. Aren’t they the first to be allowed the exception. Case in point, it is not against the law for them to take advantage of insider trading. (Remember, the laws are for the lawyers. Remember, they did not have to take part in Obama care. They have their own system. Unlike Obama care, it’s a good one. It works.)

Sorry. Got a little off my intended subject. That is, just what is your life worth. What would you be willing to pay to have your life go on another year, a month, a week, a day. If there were some fantastic elixir, what would you be willing pay for it?

I ask this question to maybe make you think. Let’s face it. There are legitimate reasons to want to live a little longer. I have seen my grandchildren. It might be nice to see their children, if only for a few days. Perhaps you’re working on an important scientific project and you’d like to see it though to it’s completion. If I asked a thousand people for a reason to live just a little longer, most would come up with something pretty good. Some, maybe not.

Now let me toss another question at you. How would you like to live forever, and it wouldn’t cost you a thing? I guess, most would jump at the chance, but few do. Jesus only ask that you be willing to accept him as your savior. Most, foolishly turn him away. They are unwilling to let him pay the price for your salvation. Either that or they say they are good enough on their own.

Most, foolishly turn down the best offer they have ever had, for a number of reasons. By their own choice they reject Jesus and they will lose their chance at eternal life and will face eternal death instead.

You see, to God, you are worth a great deal. It is why He sent His Son to die for you. It is why He wants you to take the chance, before it is too late. You see, God does respect your right to chose. He will not force you to take his offer. He will try to talk you into it, but he won’t make you take it. That is up to you.

Just seems odd to me. A person is willing to pay a fortune for life, but most are unwilling to take it as a gift.

People with power like to take things from others. God, has the ultimate power. He likes to give. He wants to give everyone eternal life. Oddly, most reject the gift. Tell me how that makes sense.
