Turn Around, There’s a Cliff Ahead!

I didn’t get all the details as I was distracted at the time. However, near as I can tell, the Disney company is starting to have problems. I would guess their movies are not doing well. I would guess they have had a drop off in park attendance. Maybe they are having trouble selling those little toys associated with the movies.

It is, as I said, a guess. I am not a business genius, but I would suspect they have what we in computers the dumb flip-flop stuck in the on condition.

They need not panic yet, though it would appear they just might be near the precipice.

My advice is simple. When you discover that you are going the wrong way, turn around and go back where you came from. They might improve things when they can tell the difference between boys and girls. They just might start improving things by going back to a true family centered corporation, sorta the way Walt Disney originally intended.

Christians, have a word for this. Repent. That is to say realize that what you are doing is wrong, stop, turn around and go back in the other direction.

Oh yes. One more thing! Bring prces back down, and I mean a bunch. I know Disney deals in fantasy land, but the rest of us must keep our feet solid on dirt, or at least most of us. Disney has done raised the price well beyond what most of us can afford.

Remember, Disneyland is an option. Food, shelter and gas are necessary.

A Little Disappointed

I would have thought a state with a firmly Republican government would be more likely to treat a leftist killer the same as one from the right. Color me disappointed. It appears the only reason they have withheld the recent killer’s writings is because she was a leftest, not someone from the right.

It somewhat destroys their stereotype.

Can someone please tell me why Tennessee law enforcement suddenly want to make a fast left turn?

Removal of AM From New Cars

There would seem to be panic over the concept that auto manufacturers are going to remove AM radios from their new cars. It would seem to some that it would be panic to talk radio. I guess I can see their point. There are some benefits to AM radio in modern society. However, it’s not that bad as it looks.

When I was a young man (mid 1960s), I had an AM/FM radio that neatly fit in my shirt pocket. And, guess what? It wasn’t all that expensive. It ran on a couple of double A batteries and for its size, it sounded good, especially with an earphone. I am sure they could build something like that today. It would be quite easy to make it so it could have Bluetooth or a USB connection. Or, of course, it could simply plug into a large powered speaker.

The folks that want AM would still have AM. They wouldn’t let the lack of AM in their car get in their way. On the other hand, it seems to me that the auto manufacturers wouldn’t gain that much by discontinuing the AM. Eventually, people will discover they don’t need the entertainment centers at all. My guess is that Auto dealers make a bunch of money off those things. If People say, we don’t want it, they don’t make a dime. A person can go down to the neighborhood auto radio installer and put one in that does have AM as well as a few other bells and whistles.

Actually, putting those AM radios in a car probably cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $10-15. Do they really want to risk the loss of customers and or sale of options for the savings of so little. Maybe. I don’t know. Whoever makes the decision just might be a dem. They don’t mind losing money, as long as it isn’t theirs.

As an aside. I sort of wish I had that old radio. It was a Zenith. They just don’t seem to make them like that anymore. It’s a shame.

Progression

  1. There was absolutely no voter fraud.
  2. Well, maybe there was a little fraud.
  3. There was not enough fraud to make any difference.
  4. Maybe there was enough fraud to overturn one state, but not the election.
  5. Well, possibility, there was enough to overturn the election, but Trump doesn’t deserve another term.
  6. Okay, they really muffed it, but it was all just a bunch of mistakes. No one did it on purpose.

There is an old saying around computers. I don’t know who first said it, but I suspect anyone who has been around computers any length of time knows it, “To err is human. To really mess things up it takes a computer.”

Certainly this election has proved the case. It would seem that there are more votes in some precincts than there are people, let alone qualified voters.

Fraud certainly is not new. Long before computers men were finding ways of cheating. After the Civil War, Black people were paid to vote 8 or 10 times. The Black man shouldn’t be blamed. He didn’t know any better.

You would think, after 200 years we’d start figuring out ways of keeping elections honest. The problem is that the democrats don’t want it to be honest. If they couldn’t cheat, how could they win?

Nonetheless, the voting machine has added a whole new dimension to cheating. The advantage of the computer is that it is fast. Hence, it allows the democrats to cheat much faster. Moreover, the computer leaves no paper trail. No matter how many times you do a recount, it always comes up the same. …another computer adage. GIGO (Garbage in, garbage out)

Apparently, that was not enough, because this time, they came up with the mail in ballot. This is where, if I find a ballot in the mail, even if it is not addressed to me, I can fill it out and send it in.

Apparently, there were many folks who did this. People, when they arrived physically at the pole, they said, you can’t vote. You already sent your ballot in. Now, how did that happen?

…and the story continues. Indeed, it might be the downfall of The United States. Abe Lincoln warned us of it. He said that if this nation will fall, it will be from within. It just might be that the warning turned to prophecy.

Oh, yes. One more thing. THE REPORTERS WERE IN CAHOOTS WITH THE DEMOCRATS RIGHT UP TO THEIR ELBOWS, OR MAYBE SHOULDER. It is ever conceivable that they were partially be hind it.
