IGNORING THE CONSTITUTION

Clearly, the Constitution states that all bills concerning taxing and spending shall start in the House. So, of coarse the dems decided to bigin their own bill in the Senate. It’s not right. It’s not Constitutional.

Then, of course why should that slow the dems.

The reason the House is supposed to originate all financial bills is that they are most close to the citizens.

Then again, after a decade or two, the dems will make sure the Constitution will be nothing more than a memory anyway.

The US is quickly headed down the same trail as Rome; and I don’t mean that in a good way.

The Destruction of NY, NY

It would seem that the mayor of NY, NY has decided that all those illegal aliens are destroying NY, NY. I ask, why should they be immune to the disaster on the border precipitated by the geriatric you helped elect. Why shouldn’t your city and state receive a small portion of those destroying the cities and states along the border.

You act as as if you don’t know what to do with them. I have a suggestion. I think you have a little island you can put them on. It is where legal emigrants of the past stayed for a while. Now let me see??? I think that Island was called… Ellis Island. There are still structures out there, I think. You can do a little remodeling, a little fixing up and you can keep them out there for a while. Why not? It was sort-a what it was made for.

At least you New Yorkers do have some facilities. Some of those little cities on the border had nothing but maybe one or two motels and nowhere near the food stuffs required to feed such an on-slot. And by the way, once Old Joe opened up the border, it was not long before there were more illegal aliens than residence in many of those small towns.

If it is a bad idea for NY, NY, then it is a catastrophe for the border towns. Don’t you think it is now time to admit, Old Joe really ain’t that good at making decisions. Isn’t it now a good idea to seen him to the old folks home. Maybe there, they will be able to understand some of his gibberish. Maybe that border czar, now let me see. What was her name. Oh, yes. I think it was Harris. Maybe she should have actually gone to the border and looked the see the problems her boss created.

But then, that is the way of the dems, isn’t it. They do like to ignore the problems they cause and pretend they don’t exist.

The Mysterious Ray Epps

Well. He’s surfaced. Apparently he has been charged by information, whatever that means. As near as I can tell, he will never spend a day in prison, or jail.

Just try, just try to tell me this does not smell of rotten eggs.

The man was recorded instigating the whole thing. Now he’s going to walk?

My guess is that, if he was not officially on the government payroll, he was likely slipped a few dozen C-notes to wave those folks in. I really don’t know nor do I care if it was from the government or from the dems. I mean, it is right on the video, waving people into the Capitol. By the way, at the least, he ought to be required to tell us what he whispered into that policeman’s ear.

Let’s file this one under, “JUST NOT RIGHT,” ’cause it’s not.

The Big Why for Presley

Brandon Presley, Democrat candidate for Mississippi governor, keeps airing ads that he is not in favor of many Democrat ideas. Great! Then WHY, WHY isn’t he Republican?

My suggestion as long as he’s a dem, then he’s a dem and he has associated himself with dem idealism. If he wants to claim Republican ideas, maybe he should bail out of the dem party… as many others have.

My guess, he is a dem with dem ideas. He’s just too ashamed to admit it. I mean really, boys saying they are girls. Only the dems would come up with an idea like that. If he doesn’t agree with dems, why hasn’t he distanced himself from it long ago.

Where’s the Penalty

The federal court has found the Biden administration guilty of interfering with freedom of speach through social media. Assuming the decision holds, I wonder who will be penalized. Who will go to prison? Who will have have to pay a fine? Who will have this hand slapped?

Who and how will those harmed be compensated? Where is justice when the law has no penalty? If I haul off and hit someone, the chances are pretty good I will go to jail or at least pay a fine. If I say something false about someone that causes him, I’ll likely going to make him richer.

On the other hand, the president and his crew can pretty much do as he wants. Then what happens? If it’s Old Joe, it likely won’t even make the evening news

Might I remind those who care, the above action likely chaged the outcome of the election. And the dems like to say no one is above the law. I guess that is also true when there is no penalty for flagrantly breaking the law.

In the Air We Breathe

News flash- University of Washington have found traces of drugs in the Washington & Oregon transit systems air and surfaces. If there, then where else?

I guess this means that if the degeration continues, we might need to go back to wearing masks again whenever we go out in public. Even more we also need to wear gloves and carefully discard both after they are removed. It will likely be good to change clothing. Thar stuff can be absorbed through skin.

Keeping that Mexican border open is and was a bad idea. Now, even more important, we need to send good strong signals to China and the cartels. If we don’t, we might need to wear space suits every time we leave our homes.

The worst part is that the party in power does not care one iota. Ask them about the drug problem and all you’ll hear is crickets, that is, unless the insects start getting high too.

New Yorkers Love Illegal Aliens!

Oh, yes. It’s so very true. The folks of NY, NY love to have people coming up from our southern border…as long as they don’t come up to NY, NY.

They have quickly figured it out. Illegal aliens take jobs, overload the schools, tax the welfare system, increase crime (which decreases safety) and pushes the hospitals beyond their limits.

By the way, those were all the same problems that faced Texas and the dems just put their fingers in their ears. Wait a minute. Today is the age of high tech. They were using noise canceling head phones. Far more effective.

I Guess, A little Odd

Daily writing prompt
Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

After nine years in the Marines, I went many places that were far away. I was in Vietnam, Japan, Korea and Australia. With the exception of Australia, when I was there, I was, in a way, home. I mean, that was where I lived and as such it was it was my home for the short term. It is true I was away from my family but that was where I worked slept and whatever else.

I guess this was especially true while in Vietnam. I did not move in voluntarily and I would never want to live there but I did for very nearly a year. If you ask me if I want to go there again, or even Japan, my reply is an instant no. I prefer the good ol’ USA

However, I certainly learned a little in every place I lived. I learned about the people and their customs. I guess I could write a small pamphlet about each place. However, I guess the one place and time that made the biggest impression on me was when I was assigned to a med-cap. That is short for medical civilian action patrol, that is, if my memory serves me right.

At any rate, the point is that it was an eye opening experience. There was a squad of us, 14 that accompanied two doctors, I guess four or five corpsmen and a dentist to help the villagers. On the way, I looked out from the truck that we were on and saw an old man apparently gathering his crop of rice.

Some might not think a thing about it but I did. The old man likely had a family. He was likely doing what he could, in among the Vietcong trying to steel what he worked so hard for and the Americans trying to go after the Vietcong while not damaging the work of the poor farmer and his family.

My best guess. He likely had not one clue what was going on. He just wanted to be left alone. I don’t blame him. However, when the Americans left Vietnam, the old man likely lost his farm, and maybe his life too. It is the sort of way the communists work. They take from those that have and give it to those who don’t. In the process, they keep a bunch for themselves and go about killing very indiscriminately.

Then there was the time we were actually in the little village. I took an 8mm camera with me and I did take some movies. While I stood guard, there was a kid who kept bothering me. I had no idea what the boy was talking about but I wasn’t about to give him the camera. He’d not be able to use it if I did.

Finally, I figured it out with the aid of one Vietnamese who spoke some English. It seemed he didn’t want the camera but a little gold colored piece of plastic, something of a fake gold seal. I managed to explain to the kid it wasn’t real, but he still wanted it.

I took my knife and cut the string holding the thing and gave the seal to the boy. I shook my head as the boy ran off waving the thing and yelling. I didn’t give the boy much, but you’d never know it from what you’d see. I told one of the guys with me, “I wish I could buy a thousand of them. They wouldn’t cost much but they would make a bunch of kids really happy.”

Bottom line, as I said, I learned a lot about the people while I was there. Still, I wished I could have given away a few hundred of those little pieces of plastic. Even more, I wish we hadn’t abandoned that country. It has made me wonder about the old farmer and the 7 or 8 year old kid. Just what happened to them?

The peace-nicks of the day forced us out of there, actually after the war was already won. They were taking their instructions from people who said they were demonstrating for peace, all the while undercutting the effort to provide peace for Vietnam. In the end they got their way, as did the communists. I can’t say with certainty they wanted to help the communists but the most assuredly did. They caused the death of millions and destroyed the hopes of freedom for others. Oh yes. One more thing. They likely cost that farmer his farm.
