WHAT’S THE QUESTION??

After the recent Virginia election, I heard an exit poll that reported the number one concern of the voters was economy. In another exit poll, I heard the big concern was how the China virus was handled. I guess if you check with five different polling outfits, you might get two, maybe three different answers.

My question is what was the question? Did they hand the voter a piece of paper with a list and tell the voter to select the most important. On the other hand, did they just ask, what was your most important concern. To me, this is important.

First, if you know a little about me, you know I don’t like surveys and I guess a poll is something of a survey. The problem with all surveys is that those conducting the survey generally have a horse in the race. So, they like to ask the questions in ways in which the replies might be a little skewed. Moreover, they like to include questions to which there are no proper answers. The one that really put a sour taste in my mouth a few years ago was the question, are you or are you not in favor of immigration? To me there is no proper answer. Obviously, the pollster was trying to create a poll that would show that most people are in favor of immigration while the truth is that most likely the majority believe as I do. I believe in legal and only legal immigration.

So my question to the pollsters is, did your question color your response? To me, the best question would be what was your most important concern? Even a list can color a response, especially if the person’s choice is not present. If the pollsters do use a list, at least they need to include a, “None of the above.”

And so it is that we are led to believe that school issues were of little import in the Virginia election. Is that really true, or is it that the pollsters got it wrong again? Did they ask the right questions in the right way?

By the way, for those interested, I do not answer surveys anymore at all. If someone were to ask me a question as I leave a voting place, I will lie through my teeth and give them all wrong answers. The only real vote that counts is the one I put in the voting box.

How to Peel a Banana

Just a quick hint. My wife makes fun of me whenever I pass this on but it works. The natural way to try to peel a banana is to use the stem. However, it works far better if you peel the banana from the other end. It is simpler and faster. Also, it just simply works better. I am told that this is the way monkeys do it. If you like the tip, pass it on.

Comments on Recent Elections

It would appear to me that the dems would learn their lesson concerning CRT, mandatory vacs and mandatory masks. Certainly, intelligent people would see the error of their ways and reconsider their goals. Not the dems. Not an intelligent bone in the bunch of them. Instead, they only push on faster, harder. As near as I can tell, they want utter destruction of the US before the 2022 elections, at which time the conservatives will attempt to turn things around right. The problem is that either Biden or Kamala will still be in The White House. Well, at least we might be able to slow them down. We might even be able to bring them to stop until 2024.

One odd thing I have noticed, the mainstream media must have seen the car crash coming and they didn’t say a thing. Indeed they only offered encouragement. Now they have become a party to the event and they will not be believed again for many decades.

When I was a kid, we had a saying, “Everything you say about me bounces off me and sticks to you.” It was childish but it did serve its purpose at the time. Yet, it would seem that the media is accusing the republicans of everything the dems do. I mean, CRT is racist and is the absolute opposite of Martin Luther King’s teaching. And, weather they admit it or not, the dems teach it or something like it in every school they control.

Moreover, it is the dems that stand in the way of allowing the African-American kids to go the best schools, allowing only the elite FOCs to go to the better schools. I would say it is like the pot calling the kettle black, but it is neither accurate nor appropriate. The old saying assumes that the pot is as bad as the kettle, whereas, in this case, the dems are far worse than the republicans. Not only do they not offer a better education, they stand in the way of permitting the republicans to provide a better education. For obvious reasons, that is worse than racism. It hampers the kids from learning and it incites anger and racism. It is exactly the way communist work. First, they destroy by causing division. They create hate and discontent to the point of destroying a country. Then they build it back the way they want. It is exactly the way they did it in Cuba and Venezuela.

Now look. If things continue to go they way they are, the dems will control a much larger version of Venezuela. You think we have supply problems now. A few decades with the dems in control will teach you just how bad things can be. By the way, most of us will not need to worry about the cost of new cars. There won’t be any, unless you are one of the elite. A car wouldn’t be much good to you, anyway. You won’t be able to buy fuel or electricity for it.

Grabbing Anchors

About one month out of the election, McAuliffe realized he was quickly sinking. So he panicked. He realized he just inserted his foot in his mouth so he started asking for help. So though people did throw him flotation devices, he chose to grab onto the boat anchors: you know, Biden, Kamala Harris, Obama. I’m sure you can name a few more.

Then when he realized they weren’t working, he grabbed onto the big ship anchor, Randi Weingarten.

The one question I have is just how McAuliffe did as well as he did? Oh, yes. It’s all those FOCs spilling out of D.C. and into northern Virginia. Somehow, we really should do something about that.

Sometimes I am Funny, Really

When standing in line at a fast food place, the young woman behind the counter asked me if I was going to tell a joke.

That kind of set me back on my heels. I have told my share of jokes, but while in a line waiting to order my food, I generally respect those behind me enough so that I don’t waste their time telling jokes. I can’t remember exactly what I said, but I did want to know why she asked. It seems I reminded her of an uncle who was always telling jokes.

To this I replied, “Mostly, I am only funny when I’m not trying.”

It was, I guess a little irony, because she seemed to know exactly what I meant. It was about the best laugh I ever got anywhere. I mean, generally, I do something or say something that makes people laugh. Some people get paid for that, you know. The problem is that it is not usually done or said to be funny.

Really, I don’t mind so much, usually. However, it is a shame I can’t get those wonderful laughs while I am trying.

Some Folks Just Can’t Stand Reality

At the time I am writing this, the people of Virginia just chose a republican governor and the New Jersey people are on the verge of doing the same. That has to be a real jolt of reality for those FOC types. In fact, some of them got hit so hard that they are telling themselves real whoppers. (That mean a big lie for those unaware.)

They are telling themselves that the reason they lost Virginia was because there were a bunch of parents claiming that they were teaching CRT. Some say they are not doing any such thing. Some say they are saying that just to win the election.

Right now, the truth is that they have just found out what happens when a little bit of the truth gets out. Regardless of anything else, I heard McAuliffe with my own ears tell one and all that the parents have no business telling the schools what to teach; this while permitting the teacher’s unions to dictate what will be taught and how it is taught. Considering that the unions like teaching CRT (or the same thing by another name), I think the FOCs have only seen the first volley of this battle if they don’t get smart.

Then again, who really expects the FOCs to suddenly get smart. That is just not going to happen. As I said, they just can’t stand reality.

Shakespeare Said it Best.

A rose is a rose is a rose no matter what it is called, said the bard and, of that is true.

CRT is CRT is CRT no matter what you call it and should be outlawed in every school in every city in every state, even if it called something else!

We Need a New Port…in Arizona.

My first thought was a canal through California. Then I realized something faster and easier. The port could be built just south Yuma on the Gulf of California.

To be sure, there are a few problems to deal with. That bit of land belongs to Mexico. It can be resolved by agreement, purchase, or simply by letting Mexico run it.

I think any of the three solutions would work, or maybe one I failed to think of. I am sure something amicably and mutually advantages for both countries can be arranged.

I am sure Arizona would love it. California; not so much. By the way, I am sure the California governor would be fit to be tied. His state would lose tax payers and who knows how many jobs. Mostly he would be upset with all power he would lose.

Just a Little Speculation

With all the prophecies, we can really get carried away with what the future holds. Most of the prophecies have or soon will be fulfilled. One only need open his eyes to realize it is true.

However, recently something occurred to me. Hardly anyone considers the past. To be sure, some have considered what Salomon’s home looked like, let alone the Temple. But my imagination has longings to go back farther than that; before the original sin.

By inspiration, Moses gives us a short glimpse of just what it might have been. Maybe I’m wrong. God did speak to Moses. Maybe God told him what it was like. Perhaps he even provided a quick vision of it.

Yet, we are told only that Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden and approximately where it was. Beyond that, we know very little of it.

I have seen places and I have seen photos of places that are grand and beautiful. I have seen photos of the a waterfall near the Grand Canyon that seemed to be as nice and as beautiful as the garden must have been. However, by logic we know it was nowhere near the equivalent.

God turned over the garden to Adam and Eve, not to just sit and admire it, but to work it. Yes, even back then man had to work. I would guess, however, it was Adam’s a work love. Oddly, some men today like to work on gardens so it’s not that much of a stretch to believe. However, when he worked the garden, there were no weeds. The weeds and thistles we are told did not occur until after the fall.

My best guess is that everywhere Adam looked there was food. We are also told that water came up from the ground to water the garden. It would appear that Eve did not have to carry a sprinkling bucket to water the flowers.

I would expect the world was a whole lot different back then. Even so, I would expect that it underwent the greatest change during and after the flood. I am not being all that speculative when I say that it may not have rained before the flood. First there others that have suggested it might be. After all, the rainbow apparently did not occur until after the flood.

At this, my imagination goes wild. I will not know how accurate these speculations are in this lifetime. In a way, I am looking forward to finding out if I am right.

My vision of the earth before the flood is one where most of the water was underground. There were far less extremes of mountains and valleys. Likely, there was no ocean. I am not saying that was the way it was. It just is that, in my mind it fits. There would be far more land and I also suspect the atmosphere was thicker, perhaps twice as thick.

Scientist tell us that a meteor hit the planet somewhere in Gulf of Mexico. Perhaps. God just might have sent it. Nonetheless, a major change occurred. The water came up out of the earth. The valleys depend and the mountains rose, perhaps the result of the meteor shattering the crust of the earth.

Thinning of the atmosphere might have occurred at this time. After all, we have found evidence of huge dragon flies. That would only be possible with an atmosphere that is rich in oxygen. Insects breath through their skin, not lungs as reptiles and mammals.

Now there I go, speculating and I’m not supposed to do that. Nonetheless, we know three things. Before man’s fall, man lived in a paradise. Because of man’s fall, we live in a world where evil is attempting to overthrow God’s creation. One day, God will set it straight again. I suspect it will be better than before.

We, God’s most prized creation, are given a choice. Do we spend our eternity with him or do we spend eternity in pain and suffering. This is not speculation. If you chose Christ as your savior, you will spend eternity in a place better than The Garden of Eden. If you don’t, your punishment awaits you.

The men in Noah’s time did not believe him that a flood would come. They were given years to repent, all the time that Noah spent working on the ark. When God closed and sealed the door on the ark, perhaps millions of men died. They were given their chance and they mocked Noah, and in effect God too. Today, they are still suffering for their decision. The suffering did not stop with their death. The real suffering only stated.

God is patient. He loves us very much. But when He decides close the door of salvation a person, He will punish those who have chosen to turn from Him.

CRT. The New Political Weapon to Use Against FOCs

CRT, regardless of the name you give it, is the the teaching of racism.

Dems are in favor of teaching CRT (Critical Race Theory)

Therefore, dems, which I also call Friends Of Criminals, are in favor of teaching racism.

Hence, FOCs are in favor of racism.

When a conservative republican uses this weapon, he stands a greater chance of winning; he exposes CRT for what it is; and he encourages everyone to back away from the evil teaching of CRT as well other such subjects.

By the way, it will help expose the dems for what they are, heartless power hungry, criminal lovers.

Incidentally, why isn’t Fauci in prison, if nothing else, for the way he treats beagles?
