One Woman Died

I just heard a report that one woman died. What is the significance? It happens all the time. I’m not aware of the stats. She is likely one of thousands.

Well, she was diabetic. She was confined to a wheelchair. Still, what was it that caused her to make the news? Why should we take note of her? I doubt Joe knows of her. If he does, I doubt he cares. I mean, he has caused the death of many so she is just another statistic.

It seems she was headed north…to the U.S. border likely in search of the American dream.

Why was she so determined? Maybe I should say desperate. I can only guess. Maybe if we asked her relatives and friends, they would tell us, “She heard ‘Uncle’ Joe opened the border.” Maybe she wanted to join relatives.

One thing we do know. If the border was closed and she knew it, she very likely would not have started the trip and hence she would still be alive.

Then too, Joe would have a difficult time understanding why she undertook the journey, anyway. After all, according to him, this is a horrible country, especially for non-whites. On the other hand, the woman, a Venezuelan, risked her life to leave her communist-run-

country.

It is a fact that people risk their lives to leave the idealism of socialism and enter the land of capitalism. It is a concept Joe and his friends just don’t comprehend. They don’t want to believe that they are changing things for the worse. They want to turn The United States of America into The United States of Socialism and they don’t known why people like Trump and me are trying to stop them.

If he could have asked that poor women, maybe she could have explained it. On the other hand, maybe he already knows. I suspect he doesn’t care.

Shadow Boxing

The former D.A. of San Francisco has literally been recalled. He claimed it was because of all the rich Republicans who, “…literally had us shadow boxing. “

Either his grammar was terrible or he was literally shadow boxing. My guess is he meant figuratively or possibly virtually shadow boxing. In any case, the Republicans had little or nothing to do with it. San Francisco literally, virtually, and figuratively have very little to say what happens in the bay city, or for that matter in the whole state.

My guess is his fifth grade English teacher is ashamed of him. Besides, shame on him for literally telling a lie.

A Question About Safety

I hear all these suggestions to improve safety, AFTER all the shootings. It brings to mind my question, just how many of these victims would still be alive if we continued to have Christian prayer in our schools?

Just 1 minute of prayer daily might have saved, maybe half those killed. Who knows? It might have even saved some of the killers.

You may emphatically said no. The truth is that none of us knows this side of infinity. Still, how horrible it would be to find out that 2 minutes of sincere prayer each day would have saved them all.

I just wish we didn’t have to die to realize the truth.

Then another question comes to mind. What if we did find out? What if somehow God told us. Would it make a difference? Would we begin prayer in our schools? I mean some folks are very defiant. Some folks pretend they care but their only interest is power. They feign interest in saving lives while their real interest is in taking our guns and other Constitutional rights.

As an aside, I find it interesting that the same people who are in favor of gun control for the safety of our children are also in favor of open borders. I mean they want to allow killers, people carrying deadly diseases, deadly drugs and human slavery to stream south to north at rates none of us know.

One aspect we can and do measure are the deaths from fentenyl. Let’s face it. The loss of life due to all shootings is horrible but it is miniscule as compared to those killed by drugs.

The Plan

Some folks say Joe has no plan but that’s just not so. He’s relying on his former boss’s idea of hope and change but the other way around.

Ol Joe just keeps changing things for the worse and he hopes no one will drive him out office…as the soon-to-be-former San Francisco DA. For those unfamiliar, the DA was removed primarily by dems. There are few Republicans there abouts.

It will likely be the same for poor OLD Joe. One day, a committee of senior members of his own party will approach him and tell him he has just done too much damage to the party, as well as the country.

They will tell him it is time for him to announce an illness. On the other hand, he could say he wants to spend more time with family and friends. That is the usual excuse given.

Then again, he just might tell the truth and say he’s become old and senile. The only thing about that that would surprise any of us is that he’d admit it.

It’d be no change to raise our hopes, considering who is waiting in the wings.

It’s the Saltwater!

For many years, I’ve wondered why almost all the people in states with coastlines seem to have lost their abilities to reason. California and New York, the states with the most coastline are the states are also the states with the least people with good reason.

Then, I considered Chicago. OK. They have no saltwater but they do have a coastline. I guess I need to modify my theory, all coastlines.

Wait a minute! Maybe Florida has more saltwater coastline than any other state.

The question does, however comes to mind. Is it the coasts that warp the minds or does the water simply attract those who lack reasonable reasoning.

There seems to be no doubt. You look in any of the states with coasts and the problem is always worse the closer they are to the water. Consider Long Island and San Francisco. They are almost surrounded by water.

Maybe we need to quickly put some kind of barrier arround Florida before they become the liberal capitol of world.

A Problem With the January 6 Logic

The number 1 logical reason that we hear from the FOCs for the January 6 Capitol building event is that it was provoked by President Trump. The problem with that logic is that he was the only one who tried to stop it by authorizing national guard troops two days in advance. Nancy, on the other hand, in all her experience and wisdom turned them down, knowing of the possibility. By the way, putting a few dozen troops around the Capitol would have done the job with little or no consequences. Do you suppose she got what she wanted? Do you think, maybe she liked the idea to use it all as a club to use on the Republicans as she has. It sort of worked out convenient for Nancy, didn’t it…sort of as if she planned it all.

By the way, what happened to the Constitutional promise of a prompt trial for those arrested 1 1/2 years ago. (I would say charged over a year ago but some are not yet charged. )

One more question. Why isn’t Fauci, a real criminal, not looking out between prison bars? He is responsible for the deaths of over a million people, worldwide. It surprises me that we haven’t heard cries far and wide for his head…a year ago.

THE PROBLEM WITH BEGGING!

There is an old adage. (I know adage means old saying and saying old adage is being redundant. However, nowadays, many are unaware of that and expect the word pairing.)

At any rate, as I was saying, it is an old saying that beggars can’t be choosy. Certainly that’s so, so true today as well as when the adage was first uttered…or written, whichever.

So, the day Joe became the occupier of the Oval Office, he set this nation on a path to begging. So, it would appear his wish has come true.

About 18 months ago, the US was an exporter of energy. Now, Joe is going around, hat in hand, begging for oil. As a beggar, he will need to accept their conditions or we’ll need to cut down our forrests for fire wood to stay warm.

This would cut back on fossil fuel usage; but it sure would increase the pollution. Also, with no more trees, the birds would have to build their nests on the ground, on power lines or tops of buildings.

Maybe the better idea is as it was when Joe took office…DRILL, BABY, DRILL.

He might not like fossil fuel but it would be our fossil fuel and it would be so much better than chopping down all those wonderful trees. Still, chopping down the trees is still better than freezing to death. Besides, what do we use in the place of fire wood when the trees are gone, fossil fuel?

There are a few asides. I can’t get my car to burn wood. 2nd, with the price of oil back down at 40 dollars a barrel, it would sure slow inflation. Finally, possibly most importantly, Putin couldn’t afford to wage wars at the lower price. Neither would he be able to make his threats.

3 Questions About the Shootings

  1. If all of our schools had fifteen foot walls around them, would the shootings continue? To be sure, they would feel more like a prison than a place to learn. On the other hand, they just may appear to be a place to warehouse children.
  2. If all the staff of any school were trained and armed. If this were made known to one and all, just what would be the chances that any of that staff would need their training?
  3. How many schools, how many teachers teach their students the difference between humans and animals?

One other thing I wonder. Just what percentage of democrats known the difference between humans and animals. Then again, how many of the dem leaders care.

All About The Numbers

When Obama was in office, it seems to me I was paying about 3 to 3.50 a gallon for fuel. Considering I was driving 80 miles a day to get to and from work, I was not pleased.

When Trump took over, what I paid for gas dropped to less than 2 dollars. That was better.

Today, I paid 4.50 dollars per gallon. When I looked at the price of over 40 dollars to fill the tank, I told my wife that if I weren’t retired, I’d have to quit. I’d not be able to afford driving back and forth to work.

It’s not an accident that the price of gas went up. It was by design. Joe said as much.

2 things I’m glad of, I didn’t vote for Joe and I’m retired.

Now, if I could just figure out some way to go without eating.
