Let’s Take a Quick Look at the Difference

I didn’t see the whole press conference with Old Joe but I did hear a few parts. From what I heard, he didn’t do himself much damage. On the other hand, I didn’t see as he helped himself either. If he is going to hold on, he is going to need to a much better performance, and that is ignoring calling Trump his VP.

However the one thing I am concentrating on is that it took him about two weeks to prepare. On the other hand, if Trump were to hold a press conference, it would be the next day, if not the same day. Trump does not need a big team to prepare him asking practice questions. Old Joe needs a lot of practice, a big team and a lot of rest.

I don’t know about you, but I would not consider this a real “big boy” press conference. If it had been Trump, he would have had to field far more difficult questions and more of them.

One more quick note, the press would not have treated Trump nearly as well as Old Joe and Trump would have still looked far better.

Looks like quite a difference to me.

The Split Democrats

Old Joe has managed to do something I thought was impossible. He has split the party. Part of the party is standing behind him, ready to lie and deceive for him. The other half is busy trying to figure out how to throw the man off the Democrat ticket. While, at the same time, trying to figure out with whom to replace him.

This, of course, while the individuals try to maintain and increase their individual and collective political power.

I guess all the while, it is all triggered by power. Many who are closely associated with Old Joe don’t want him to go down in flames. The rest, who have finally seen the handwriting on the wall, realize that if they have any hopes of maintaining the power are ready toss Old Joe overboard in hopes of saving the ship.

(Is that what they call a mixed metaphor? Either way, I am sure you know what I mean.)

It Won’t Make Much Difference

The secret is out. For more than 3 years, Kamala has been telling whoppers about how fit Bidden is. It is the worst kept secret this nation has never had. She has been looking right into the camera and telling lie after lie to the American people knowing that no one believed her.

A decade ago, if someone did that, their political career would be over. Indeed, she’d have a difficult time doing anything. I mean, when she applies for a position, next to the honesty question, she’d have to check, not so much.

Two decades ago, she would have simply been told, no need applying.

Now, things are different. Now she has been seen as a loyal soldier, not the the USA, but for Democrat party.

So, even with all the lies, she just might become president. Nowadays, all the dishonesty might actually work for her. The only folks that will hold it against her are the Republicans. The dems won’t care. It is even possible that they will respect her more for taking all the arrows for the party.

I know it sounds unbelievable. But 20 years ago, would you have believed a man who has a hard time remembering his own name, would be elected president. As a young man, I would have never thought that lies and deceit would help qualify a person for presidency. Only goes to prove that I can be wrong.

The Blame Game

As I have said before, one characteristic of a good leader is that he will own his mistakes tenaciously. The bad leader will quickly find others to blame. Wouldn’t you know it; a few days after the debate and Old Joe’s team is blaming three people for his bad showing during the debate.

In this case it is particularly bad. He is not doing the blaming, he’s letting his staff do that for him. That way he doesn’t have to own the fact that he’s blaming others. We all of course know better. Joe is the leader. It is Joe that failed and it is Joe who is blaming the aides. If he wants someone for his bad showing. he needs to look in the mirror.

Old Joe is an example of exactly what a leader ought not do.

The Great Pretender

Somewhat staying with the music idea, let’s say a word about the 1955 Platters song “The Great Pretender.” Though it is an old song, it has a staying power. Just a wild guess, but I would guess that at least 60% of the the current US population have at least heard the song once. Quite frankly, I can see why. The tune is nice, but the words really hit home with just about all of us. Well, maybe, all of us. Certainly most of us have felt like singing the words right out loud, and mean them.

Indeed, most of us do some real pretending, pretending that everything is okay. We are doing just fine while we are breaking up inside. We don’t want the world to know just how much we are hurting.

Well, to me, the song, or at least the title has new meaning. You see, the dems are now the great pretenders. They have been pretending that everything is fine. Old Joe’s doing fine and his mental faculties are that of a forty-year-old. Now, things have changed. Their secret is out. I dare say close to 99% of the country now knows of his mental problems.

How-some-ever, the pretending has changed. You see, they all knew all the time, especially those that saw Old Joe on a regular basis. However, they pretend they didn’t know. They pretend that they are as surprised as the rest of us. No one wants to admit their part in the pretense.

The reality was… they knew alright and they knew all the time. It just is they they also knew they didn’t want us to know.

Now there is panic. Do they keep pretending Old Joe’s fine in spite of what the world has seen? Do they try to get him to step aside? Do they invoke amendment 25? All the choices have problems. All solutions have advantages.

For instant, if they invoke 25th, it is only a temporary solution. Old Joe is still on the ballot unless they can figure out some way to get him off of it. If he refuses to step aside, he will be selected on the first ballot at the Democrat convention as the nominee. I see no way around it. Even if he does step aside, the party really has a big black eye, trying to force a mentally disabled man on the country.

As I see it, maybe the best possibility is to allow Joe to run, and then immediately remove him with the 25th. As I say, It might be the best possibility, but it would appear, the best ain’t good. It would have to improve some to be poor. I’m really not looking forward to listening to Kamala’s voice for the next 4 years.

At any rate, we can now denote the Democrat Party as the party of the Great Pretenders.

Seeing is Believing

We need to start challenging Old Joe. If he has no cognitive problems, he needs to prove it. He needs to destroy all all doubt.. And as they say, seeing is believing. On the other hand, all the hiding only generates more doubt.

If he really has the proper mental capacity to be the leader of this nation, he needs to prove it, instead of constantly, consistently hiding.

Bring him out on a stage… BY HIMSELF… and make him answer real unprepared questions… WITHOUT KNOWING what they are in advance… for fifteen minutes.

Trump proved he can do it. He has in multiple times under multiple situations. All Old Joe does is hide most of the time. Then he comes out where others lead him around, where the questions are prepared and where time is limited. Even if his policies were perfect, that is not the way to lead. AND, his policies are horrible.

Heat and Mileage

I have always known that the heat will effect mileage of electric cars, or any car with air conditioning really. However, as usual, experience is a good teacher. Now that it has been hitting 95 degrees daily lately it is becoming a great deal more obvious. For this reason, the wife and I have started waiting longer before we go out.

At the end of each trip, my EV Nissan gives me a report on how many miles per KW hour I had. It is pretty normal to score anywhere from 3.0 to 3.8. However, here lately, I have been getting reports around 2.3 and 2.4. It is somewhat logical as it takes half the 5 mile ride to cool the car down.

On rare occasions, when driving at night, I get reports close to 5.0. Then the other day, in the evening, I needed very little air conditioning. It wasn’t so hot and my trip was about half in the shade. When I pulled into the drive and turned off the car, I was surprised with a 6.1 miles per KW Hour.

That tells me, I would get much better mileage if I could do all my driving in a climate of 72 degrees where the sun is not heating the cabin through the windows.

Well, I have also drawn a few more conclusions. I could drastically increase my mileage if I could always park my car with the windows wide open. If I could leave the air conditioning off, I just might be able to double my range.

I can’t imagine that others are not completely aware of what I am saying. Moreover, air conditioning does create a load on internal combustion engines, too, likely more than we want to admit. Might it be possible that AC might cost as much as 5 or 6 miles per gallon. This is particularly true when a car must be parked in the sun, pushing the cabin heat to 130, maybe 140 degrees. Likely that compressor in any car is kept running the first 3 or 4 miles.

In the old days, we just rolled the windows down which helped a lot. We just can’t do that anymore. Weather aside, too many thieves. Too much of a temptation. The cost of insurance is high enough. However, If the cost of fuel keeps going up, we might need to roll the windows down anyway and make sure we leave nothing in the car we don’t want to lose.

There are other solutions of course. I did many years ago cover my car with a reflective cover. It worked okay, but by the time I took it off the car, the sun already heated the car. Besides, someone took the cover.

My wife is always tell me, I think to much. I guess that’s true. I did consider just a couple of 4 x 8 pieces of plywood with aluminum foil. I almost did it a time or two. I also wondered if I might be able to mount the things on the car while driving. I am sure it would drive the cost of AC down, but I’m not sure it would be legal.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a piece of foam that would fit over the car and hang over the windows a little. That would not only protect from the heat but it would also prolong the life of the interior, maybe a little. The foam could be rolled up while not in use and put in the trunk. I kind of like this idea the most, if I could find a piece of foam. It would not help while driving. However, it would not take as long to cool the cabin.

My car, I guess as most cars with AC allow the driver to select to recirculate the interior air or pull in fresh air and cool it. Many overlook it. When the cabin is 120 degrees, it is better to draw 95 degree air in and cool it instead of the hot interior air, while forcing the 120 degree air out.

On the other hand, once the interior of the car has cooled blow the 95 degree outdoor temperature, it is far better to cool the interior air than the the hotter outside temperature.

My car has all kinds of automation, but I must do this manually. Moreover, I must only guess. I have no interior temperature indication, other than guess. With all the push to go green, why is this so. Nonetheless, I do my part. When I get in my car, I select outdoor. After about 5 minutes, I switch to recirculate. My guess, I’m probably off some.

Another more recent Idea I had is to get one of these battery powered leaf blowers. Roughly five minutes before going anywhere, I can roll down the front windows and point the leaf blower in one window and blow 95 degree in one window forcing he 120 degree air out the other window. I haven’t done it yet, but it does seem that it would work.

Then the blower would go in the trunk for just before I start home.

If anyone has any other ideas, I have my ears on. If the engineers don’t want to solve this problem, let’s do it for them. Incidentally, Old Joe is going to make sure we are all going to go to electric cars. Y’ll are going to be facing these problems one of these days.

If There Were No God

It is an outlandish idea, but Voltaire said that if there were no God we would have to invent one. It makes me wonder if he had the lies that the FBI told when he said that. To be sure, religion right or wrong, to some degree has kept the human race from destroying itself.

However, it has done some damage too. I have already mentioned the Spanish Inquisition. There were the crusades and the attempts by Arabs to take over Europe. Oh, by the way, they still are. They also destroyed a couple of large buildings in NY, NY, not to mention the thousands of lives in the name of their ala.

Old Joe claims to be religious, a Catholic, but he was very responsible for deaths in Afghanistan and Ukraine. He would like us to forget all the death by abortion he encourages, though he claims Catholicism as his belief. Makes me wonder why the Pope has such a wonderful relationship with him.

Nonetheless, maybe all these pseudo-religions have done some good from time to time.

However, if a person makes up his own religious beliefs, it’s going to cause more harm than good. Certainly any religion that ignores the 10 Commandments won’t help. And by the way, as a nation we have virtually outlawed the 10 Commandments everywhere but The Supreme Court. I guess they will soon be removed there as well.

Then in the hearts of most Americans, there will be no God in this country. Or maybe most will simply invent their own to meet their own convenience.

Will Old Joe Pardon His Hunter?

To answer this, we need only remember the basics. Disregarding the fact of the father – son relation, let’s remember one important fact. Hunter knows where all the bodies are hidden. I am sure Old Joe knows what will happen should his son spend one day in prison.

Incidentally, I am sure all the Bidden puppeteers are aware that Hunter has a few things to say about them too.

Will Hunter get pardoned? In a word, instantly.

Far Too Little Far Too Late

For over 3 years now, Old Joe has had that valve at the south border wide open. Now he’s discovered he might not be elected because of it. So, he’s trying to blame it on the Republicans as they won’t pass his border Bill.

First, it is far too little far too late. His motivation is far too transparent. I am sure that once the election is over, he’ll make sure to open the valves wide open again, win or lose.

Secondly, the bill he wants to pass will only insure the valve will remain wide open, regardless who wins.

For those unaware, that is what is called deceit. It’s doing the one thing when you say you will do something else. The purpose is to gain power at any cost.
