A Matter of Priorities?

We all know where the dems interests are. They want investigation after investigation of Jan 6 and the overrunning of the Capital Building. (Only four people died.)

On the other hand, when it comes to the millions that died in the pandemic, they want to turn their eyes from those most likely culpable. This is especially true when it just might involve one of their heroes, Fauci. (Why is he not in an orange jumpsuit?) This is also because it involves their hero nation, China. (Why are we still doing business with them?) And by the way, why is it that we were giving them money for virus research?

I guess it is all just a matter of priorities. We now know where the dem’s heart is. Those who like to experiment with dangerous viruses and then blame others for the results. As for the millions who died, they are just statistics, as Joseph Stalin liked to put it. They used the stats on their primary opponent, President Trump.

To my way of thinking such experiments should take place on barges far out to sea. Better yet, they ought not take place at all. Most of all, we don’t need to help our enemies develop such horrid things… for any reason… certainly not for weapons.

Wanted: 2 Week Tooth Filling

I found out I lost a filling…Friday afternoon. I checked with no less than 6 dentist. They were either closed or they would not see me without an appointment. Now tell me that makes sense. It seems to be the norm for me anyway. Everything bad that happens to me is on Friday: Heart surgery twice, gall stone, Tooth ache and now, a lost filling.

At any rate, it got me to thinking. Maybe they could come up with a good temporary filling, something that would last a few days . It needs to last at least four days, which would allow for most holidays. Better yet, two weeks. That way, it would be much easier for the dentist to fit a person into his schedule.

I am sure there are all kinds of problems for such a thing, But as they like to say, all problems can be looked at as opportunities for the right person. Moreover, it would never be intended as a permanent solution. Perhaps they could be handled as a minor medical problem. It is even possible a pharmacist could install such a thing. Likely the most difficult part would be to cut the filling to size. Maybe they could use a 3D printer. Then it could be glued in place with Superglue.

Just a thought for the right inventor.

Good Times, Bad Times

I heard a little quip the other day, surprisingly while watching a softball game. The woman was quoting a coach. Unfortunately, I did not have the presence of mind to write it down so I could properly quote the man. However, it is good enough that I would hope he would like one and all to know it.

“There is no bad time to do a good thing.”

As I thought it over, I realized it can be properly turned around, “There is no good time to do a bad thing.”

I considered it in relation to the present occupant of The White House. I suspect someone has taught him the saying. The problem is that he has gotten it turned totally around as “No bad time to do a bad thing.” It seems to me that he practices it daily. I wish someone would take him aside and straighten him out.

By the way, while they are at it, maybe they could straighten out some of his friends too.

Politics and Medicine

I would suspect that there is a little politicking in most professions. Surely, medicine is no exceptions. I don’t have any first hand knowledge on the matter, but it only stands to reason that egos do collide from time to time.

However, if there was ever a time for politics to take a back seat to medicine, the pandemic was one of them. Yet, looking back over the past 18 or so months, I see that medicine took the back seat. The dems took the attitude that they should use the disaster to get rid of President Trump, when he was one of the few that did most everything right. His interest was always based on the health and lives of everyone.

There was however one mistake he did make. He suggested that Hydroxychloroquine might be used as a cure. The dems really jumped on that. By the time they got done, you’d think it was one of the worst poisons ever invented by man. Had the president not said anything about it, the doctors could have used the drug to treat hundreds of thousands. However, for the sake of politicians, the use of the drug was virtually band for use against the China virus.

Now it would appear that Fauci, who was supposed to be a doctor (who likely took the Hippocratic Oath) has chosen politics over medicine, which likely led to the loss of tens of thousands of lives. It would appear he does not believe in the concept of, “First, do no harm.” If that were his goal, he sure did get that one wrong. It would appear that he helped to finance the whole thing. Moreover, every time he issued instructions, he got it wrong. Then, while everyone panicked, he played the innocent bystander.

Certainly, China played their role in the pandemic. They decided to play politics too, or perhaps, they decided to take advantage of the problem. First they said one thing and then the other, while nothing they said was true. All the while they encouraged their diseased people to travel all over the world, treating them like human biological bombs.

Now, over a year after the whole thing started, some of this info is coming to light. Now, about all Fauci will say is, “I didn’t do it. It wasn’t my fault.”

And, of course, all the dems can say is, “Trump did it!”

Meanwhile, people with the China virus, TB and who knows what all communicable diseases come flowing unchecked across the border and the dems don’t care. They stand there encouraging them, “Come one come all. Y’all are welcome as two peas in a pod.” Biden made that political decision. I wonder how many lives that will cost. No since asking if Biden cares. We already know, for him, politics and power take priority.

A Good Idea for a New Book

The plot would be simple. A dozen misfits would be selected and taken from prison. A leader would be put in charge and they would undergo a bunch of special training. Then, they would be transported to Russia, close to that outfit that keeps hacking into our systems. Then, very systematically, they would kill each and every one of them.

Then, there would be two results. They would no longer hack into our systems and all others would be afraid to do anything like it.

I would write the book, myself but I am afraid it is beyond my abilities. Oh, and by the way, if you do it, you might run into copyright infringements. It has sort of been done before, different time, different circumstances. As for movie rights, forget it. The Russians would never allow such a movie production. If someone tries it, they might get dead. Still, it sounds like a really good idea for someone willing to chance it.

Kamala Is Headed South

The word is that she is going down to Central America to resolve all the reasons for people flooding over our border. Don’t believe it. She’s been working so hard doing VP things that she needs to vacate for a while. And so it is she will spend a few days in a luxury hotel and eating the best quality food at our expense. On the side of course, she will get a few photo ops and say a few nice words.

Then, after messing things up down there, she’ll return claiming all the good she did.

We Humans Take Things for Granted

There was a time when a hearing aid was a horn shaped thing that a person put to his ear. It concentrated the sound and did have limited success. I was reminded of the day when I saw a woman with a cochlear implant. It is a major advance for some who cannot hear.

It was first released a couple of decades ago and they are still experimenting with them. Every year they come out with improvements to them. Possibly, one day a person will be able to hear as well as normal. Moreover, they keep reducing the size of the external part of the device.

The first electronic hearing aid I saw was about the size of a cigarette pack and used vacuum tubes. It meant that people went through a lot of batteries and generally turned the things off when not needed. I guess the next in the evolution was the transistorized version. Because transistors don’t have filaments as tubes, the batteries lasted much longer. It allowed the size to be reduced as well, mostly half the size and smaller.

When the integrated circuits came on the scene, they often incorporated them into glasses. I had an aunt that was thrilled at that point, especially because she already needed to wear glasses. A small wire carried the audio signal to the earpiece and, unless a person looked hard, he’d not realize she had a hearing aid.

Now, of course, the whole thing fits inside the ear. And so it is that I have seen the whole evolution.

Still, the hearing aid could only do so much. Hence the cochlear implant. Up until it was invented, many were simply not able to hear at all. Moreover, the outlook was grim. The neat part about invention is that some who would not be able to speak are learning to speak very well. They will no longer be somewhat limited to society.

To me, it is the best part of the electronic evolution. One day, it just might be that the lame will walk and the blind will see, with the assistance of electronics and micro-miniature computers.

Then, on the other hand, there are those who want to use this fantastic tool for evil. They want to use it to keep track of every person, what they do and what they say. If anyone gets out of line, it will produce an exception report and that person will answer for it, even if what they are saying or doing is for mankind’s benefit.

You think this is not probable. Look how fast chloroquine got rejected because it was mentioned by President Trump. Now there is strong evidence that it might have saved thousands of lives had it been used early. It just might have been more effective at fighting off the epidemic than the vaccine.

Then again, the dems don’t care. They only have their self interest in mind. They only want to destroy Trump, his supporters and his ideas. It is the nature of evil, to destroy good and the truth and those who spread the truth. The dems prefer the dark and they prefer the lies that increase their power.

If they have to destroy true science in the process, then it is just another casualty of their assault on The Constitution.

It’s All About Him

I am not at all fond of the current governor of New York. He has done many despicable things, such as moving China virus positive people into nursing homes. That one resulted in the loss of thousands of lives. He admits it, but tries to blame it on the president. He is after all the first one to say, “He did it,” when he knows good and well, he should pronounce, “I did it,” and sincerely apologize for it.

Now I hear he is trying to corrupt Memorial Day, the day where we are to remember our fallen from the wars. It seems he suggested that we remember first responders on the Sunday before Memorial Day. For some, this might sound sort of nice; but in truth, he is only calling attention to himself. After all, he wants to consider himself one of the heroes who saved the lives of thousands.

The bad part is that it just might have worked had he chose some other day. But when he tried to desecrate Memorial Day, he angered thousands of veterans and the families of those who fought and died for us. It gave him a figurative black eye that will likely remain a while. To be sure, this is something that such a man like him would say. To him, human life matters little to him and he little appreciates the magnitude of those who fought for our freedom and his. Then again, as a dem, he likely has little respect for our freedom, only his own.

Meanwhile, let us remember his true motive. For sure, the first responders do deserve recognition but not to overwrite history; and certainly not to boaster the politician’s ego. Let us remember the first responders on another day. And if such a day is made, let us not sully it with the likes of the current New York governor. Let’s try to completely disassociate his image from that day.
