A Question of Degree

The question has been asked why the dems lost if they cheated. They really should rather ask how much more Trump would have won had they not cheated.

If nothing else, Kamala should have claimed all the free campaigning she received from the media, you know, like the so-called comedy shows they put on late at night. You note that in at least one case, they were forced to provide equal time by the FCC. How many such cases were never uncovered though they were frequently as blatant, even in cases of so-called straight news.

Also, there were some cases that the dems were caught and there was retribution. How many such cases were not caught.

Kamala outright paid over a billion for the presidency. It wasn’t enough, even when you include the in-kind contributions. All in in all, it was likely double that, at least. By the way, in-kind contributions are considered illegal, that is to say cheating.

Those Searching for Treasure….

Every now and then, you hear in the news of someone finding sunken treasures or hunting for a buried chest. Some have even gone so far as to open big safes owned by previous gangsters or union bosses. I think they are looking in the wrong place. When and if they find the gold, there isn’t much and it takes a lot of work get it.

Where I realize I should have been looking are those who developed the vaccine for the China virus. To be sure, they spent a lot of money for development but not nearly what they stood to gain.

I have been wanting to write this post for a long time, but I simply don’t have the real info I want. It would appear no one is talking about it. No one is bragging. It would appear they have closed the big door on this one, and for obvious reasons. There is a lot of money involved.

I would really like to know how much money is involved. What, maybe a few billion from the government and even more from the insurance companies. The drug companies weren’t happy with what they got vaccinating the old, those that would have needed it, if it worked. They wanted even the youth to get the vaccine. Do you realize the monies that the developers could get from all those vials, work or not.

Fact is, no treasure chest, no ship wreck could provide the fortunes. Moreover, there was no need doing any risky deep sea diving or digging. And, by the way, diving for treasure doesn’t always yield so much as one gold coin. For sure, selling vaccine is the way to go. It has a for sure return.

Does anyone have any idea how many pockets have been lined by the hopes of stopping the virus with a magic elixir. However, if you stop to think about it, that wasn’t really the big winning hand. If they really stopped the virus, they’d have no more reason to make it. They, so to speak would have killed the golden goose. The billions coming in, would stop coming in.

Would these big Pharma outfits do things like that. Would they sink so low, really. I would say, in a heartbeat. Let’s face it, big pharma were not the only ones winning. I can’t prove it. I would never make the charge without at least a thread of evidence. However, do you notice that big government was more than willing to distribute the vaccine, even after it proved to be useless, especially for the youth. They were determined that those in the military who were in good health should also take it.

The final straw is this. Any time that someone discovered something that actually worked, they, the government, did all they could to squelch the possibilities, even though some likely died from it.

The fact of the matter is, Old Joe and his crew are going to have a lot to answer for when they face God in Heaven. However, the real problem is… the damage has been done. It won’t be reversed. He and his cohorts have their treasure, and they will most surely pay.

Moreover, the new media, the health department officials, the physicians, and certainly, big pharma will all have their punishment as well.

Then, what good will their treasure be to them. What good will the world be to them when they lose their souls.

Stupid Doesn’t Get It

Just how many times have you seen a baseball player do something and you ask, “Why did he do a stupid thing like that?”

I once heard a coach on TV say that when he looked for players, he said that we looked for speed. Hitting, catching, and throwing we can teach. Fast is not learned.” Before I heard him say that, I never understood why I never became a famous baseball player. Now I know.

Regardless of my shortcomings, over the years, I have leaned that another thing is needed to be a good baseball player, intelligence. Stupid doesn’t get it. When the player throws to first when he should have thrown to second, it is learned, but not totally. For sure, some players pick it up on the fly very well. Even so, occasionally, even the pros do things that are really stupid. After it’s all over, they will usually be the first to admit it.

The thing is, regardless of the talent, regardless of the speed, when a player continually does stupid things, the coach starts looking elsewhere. And here’s something else. The same thing is true of football, basketball, golf and tennis. Indeed, it is, to some degree true of most every sport.

You ever notice, quarterbacks have a tendency to be the most intelligent guys on the gridiron? I’m sure no one had to tell you. You likely figured it out by yourself. On the other hand, besides their speed and skill, the linebackers and and safeties are likely pretty smart too. Otherwise, they are likely to hear if from their coach on occasion, “Why did you do a stupid thing like that?” Actually, I suspect my remark cleans it up some.

Most sports have more than physical skills, but also strategies. Of course, from time to time, occasionally, someone slips up and they realize they have been out strategized. I know. I’ve been there. I have found myself wishing I didn’t do the stupid thing.

This is not restricted to sorts. Ask the lawyers. They’ll tell you. Most that have been at it a while have been taught a lesson or two in the courtroom. Ask the businessmen. They know it. Yup. They made a mistake or two. Ask the politicians. I have seen some of those first hand. I am sure that all of them wish they could have taken a step or two back. I’m sure you’ve seen it.

However, when a person takes the leadership of a nation in his hands, it gets serious. Old Joe opened the border. Now Kamala is stuck trying to explain it. Try is the operable word because she can’t. She won’t even try. She realizes any attempt will just make it worse. The fact is, it was one of Old Joe’s stupid things and she knows it.

Old Joe permitted, even took part in driving the prices of oil up. I don’t care what the reason. However, it allowed the Russians and the Iranians to gain great financial gains and power. It allowed them to finance the HAMAS which allowed them to attack Israel. That was stupid. It allowed Russia to attack Ukraine. I believe that most of the Israelis and Ukrainians will say that was a stupid move by Old Joe.

Now my question. After 4 years of stupid, do we really want another 4 years of it? As far as I am concerned, stupid doesn’t get it. I’m ready for someone to take over who actually knows what is going on. I mean, we’re not playing games here. We are talking thousands of lives already lost under Old Joe. It means more lives lost by Kamala, who said she’d not change a thing.

The True Pragmatist

Well, I must admit Bernie Sanders is an honest man. He will tell you what he believes, though he has no earthly idea how economies work. And so it is he has the quote of the week. It is being quoted and requoted about everywhere. He called Kamala a pragmatist. She hasn’t changed what she believes. She’s just changing what she says to get elected..

Yep. I think he’s got it right.

Balony

I’ve heard the correction dozens of times. I know. Still, I am something of a country boy at 76. When I tell my wife I am going to get a balony sandwich. She knows what I mean. I don’t have to explain it. If I pronounced it right, she would think I was sick.

Well, this evening, I decided I was hungry and I’d get a balony sandwich. I went in and got the bread, balony and and mayonnaise out. When done making the sandwich, I put everything up and headed for my easy chair next to my 8000 BTU air conditioner.

I might remind you at this point that I am 76, almost 77. My memory just is not what it used to be. That means sometimes I don’t do things as I think I do.

Well, I took two bites out of my sandwich and realized something wasn’t right. I pulled one slice of bread up and realized I never put the balony on it. Now let me tell you, balony sandwiches just don’t taste right without the balony. Well, I was lazy. I just ate it as it was. I would use two slices next time, maybe three.

Then I got to thinking it over. It’s sort of like the way the dems and Kamala do things. When they speak, it is a whole lot like a bunch of balony, but without the balony.

Do You Believe Kamala Now

She’s been lying to your face for 4 years. She’s been saying Old Joe is fine. Nothing at all wrong with him. It wasn’t just once or twice. I has been over and over. 4 years she has been concealing his mental condition.

Now, once she is candidate for president, suddenly, she explains, maybe he isn’t so fit.

The thing that bothers me. Not so much as one reporter has asked her about that. One: maybe that is why she’s hiding from us. Two, maybe the press was colluding with her; or her with them. Another reason for her to hide in the basement until after the election.

Looks to me like she’s like all the other dems. She just wants the power and will do anything to get it. Lying is just a small easy thing for her. To her, it is small. To her, it is easy. Besides, she’s well practiced at it.

Who You Lift Up

Kamala says that a sign of a good leader is who you lift up. I can’t say I agree with her but let’s go by her saying for a while. She lifts up the Palestinians who want to throw the Israelites into the Mediterranean. She likes to lift the Iranians who would like to destroy us. She likes to lift those who like to tear babies into pieces. She likes to lift those who want to control what you do and what you say. She likes to lift those who want to open the border.

On the other hand, look at those who President Trump lifts up. As I think it over, it sounds more like an ad for Trump than one for her. I mean, Trump really did help the minorities far more than any dem in decades. He did establish worldwide peace until Old Joe stepped in with his mighty pen and ruined it all. He did cut taxes and lower gas prices which helped the little guy more than the rich. I could go on, but I’d guess you got the picture.

The point is that Kamala is wrong. The good leader does that which is right, even in the face of adversity, which is what Trump did. It is not what Old Joe did and it is not what Kamala would do. The fact is, I still haven’t heard much of what she would or would not do. All she has talked about is generalities about herself and Trump. And that was horribly inaccurate.

It Just Goes Beyond a Person’s Comprehension.

Sometimes people do things I simply cannot understand. I would suspect not too many could give me a logical explanation. Desoto County is pretty solid republican. Matter of fact, Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee are all pretty solid red, for those unaware.

Admittedly, Memphis is just about as blue as it gets in this part of the country. However, the other day, I was really surprised to hear a few political ads for Kamala and a few more today. That sort of lends reason to the thought that Kamal ain’t so bright. No matter how much the ads benefit her in Memphis, she’s not going to win Arkansas, Tennessee or Mississippi

Nonetheless, let’s not tell her. Let’s keep that part quiet. If she wants to throw her money into the tristate area, let her go right ahead. We can use the money. Besides, every dollar she spends here will not do her any good elsewhere. So, let’s just keep it to ourselves and let her think all the money is very well spent. We’ll let her have all those grand illusions.

Officially Ignorant, Maybe Worse

Kamala says she will get rid of the filibuster. Sorry. She lost her chance to do anything about that. The president has no control over it. It is a rule set up by the senators and no one else.

Kamala can spend her entire life jumping up and down and throwing a temper tantrum. Only a vote of Senate can change it. Because she was a senator, if nothing else, she should know that.

Guess what, I learned it in the 8th grade. Why didn’t she?

Moreover, the real purpose of the filibuster is to protect the little guy. It keeps the majority from ruling over the minority. Without the filibuster, those with the money and power can rule over the little guy.

It can be a very frustrating thing, but it is a good thing, which the dems likely have used more than the Republicans. It can be used to protect. On the other hand it can be and has been used in abuse.
