Anywhere but Here

Seems an odd thing to say, but it was what a young marine said in answer to the question, “Where are you going?”

Let me explain a little. The place was Camp Pendleton. It was a pleasant evening. The weather was nice. Then, without warning, the ground started shaking, the power poles began swaying and some started running, as did this man.

When finally cought after a long chase, the one with stripes did ask the question and the young private still under training did reply, “Anywhere but here.”

It does bring to mind, more-or-less the same qestion, when you permit the communists to assume control of this country, what will you say when someone asks where will you go. Maybe you’ll reply anywhere but here. However, just as when earth quakes strike, there will be nowhere to go. Worse, death may await anyone who does try to go anywhere.

Education or Indoctrination?

Strange as it may seem, some people actually believe that schools should be a place to learn. You known, reading, writing, arithmetic, history, and science.

On the other hand, there are those that think we should ignore the basics and go right into the indoctrination. You know, sex (regardless of how distorted), communism, and, of course, methodology of election fraud.

Now, of course, our third graders might have difficulty reading in a 1st grade book. However he or she will know all about advance sex and, well if the are really the right gender.

History might not be their strongest subject. However, they will absolutely understand that Trump supporters charged the Capitol building in an attempt at insurrection, regardless of any proof otherwise.

Then, of course, the most important thing. None of us should own or possess anything. All should be shared and distributed among everyone. It is the perfect communism. Though it has failed every time it has been tried, we need to just keep repeating it till it works or we die… Whatever occurs first. Even should it become casual to the most obvious observer that it will never, ever work, we must keep trying, no matter how obviously insane it is.

Sounds like a very good reason for private schools. Why should all of out children be indoctrinated with such nonsense?

Clearly, Self Destruction

The dems are doing all they can to destroy families.

The dems are doing all they can to allow anyone and everyone into the country by whatever means they will. They do this while totally ignoring all immigration laws.

The dems are doing all they can to destroy the effectiveness of any and all law enforcement, local, state and federal.

The dems are doing all they can to punish everyone and anyone who tries to protect the people the country or our sovereignty.

Yup. That’s it. They are trying to destroy the nation and all it stands for.

Bread & Milk

Or is it milk & bread. they don’t last long so we always have to go back for more weather we use them or not. As for the rest, I guess pet food. The animals eat much more betterer than me and my wife. Sometimes I buy lettuce and tomatoes. Not that much. it is just the 2 of us and she doesn’t like it. I generally end up tossing half of it. It is sort of the reason we eat out so much. I hate wasting food.

Now that we have discussed my diatary habits, maybe I can speak of something more important, more interesting. For instance, whose going to win the Super Bowl. Or perhaps, do you think the Browns will actually make it this year to…where is that game going to be played this year? Do you plan to watch it, especially if it is a rematch of last years.

Not to trivialize the pros, but we still have several college games to be decided. It looks like Memphis will again be in the Liberty Bowl. Speaking of Liberty Bowl, I saw the one in which Bo Jackson played. He was very amazing, unfortunately. I was routing for Arkansas.

My point is, I would hope others are more interested in things other than what I eat, I hope.

3 Things to do With the UN

I am sure that it has become clear that having the UN in NY, NY causes many problems. On the other side of the coin, there are a couple of benefits that I am sure NY, NY just loves. I have no earthly what the monetary values are, but I would guess there are a few that do.

Nonetheless, my favorite idea is it line up a bunch of dozers and push the building into the water. Alternately, just chase all the people out of the buildings, then let the homeless in. it will only take them a few months to accomplish the same thing without the cost.

The second idea is kind of a 2 for one. Transport all the folks from Porto Rico to US. Then turn the island over to the UN. We would no longer have a need to support the island and the UN personnel would no longer create havoc with NY, NY. The neat thing, the island already has most needed facilities, including air port, harbor and hotels.

The only downside…they would need many improvements to bring it to their standards. On the upside, look at the weather and beaches.

The third idea might be the most interesting and is loosely based on one of my books. We could build a huge floating island oora group of them and let it float out in the Atlantic somewhere. About a fourth of the structures would be under water giving it good stability. Transport to and from the place would be a problem but surely someone could figure out something.

And, if a big storm came up, the whole thing would submerge. No one would miss them for a day or two. Once the storm passed, they would resurface.

The most important thing, if they decided to pull one of their temper tantrums, we just say fine. You are now on your own. If they can’t keep themselves figuratively or literally afloat, it would be their problem. It is not the American mission to keep them in a life of luxury.

2 Problems, 1 Solution

The water levels are droping on Lake Meade. The need for power keeps increasing in Los Vegas by the day. Those be the problems.

The solution: Floating platforms on the lake, which would decrease the evaporation from the lake. Then, put solar batteries on the platforms that could help provide electricity for Los Vegas.

Advantags: No land used. Lots of free energy.

Disadvantages: less area for boating. Certainly would not enhance the view. Might even decrease property values. That might be the big complaint. A lot of rich folks have property there and, of course, rich folks like to bribe politicians. Just look at how quickly the complaints came in when windmills were suggested off the north east coast.

Maybe I should have added, “More Problems,” to the title of this post.

Wasted Time

As I consider back over the years, I have decided of all the time I spent in school was woodshop in junior high. First, I have no idea why the class was required for all boys, but it was.

If maybe we were required to make bird houses or the like, I might understand. However, the first thing that was required for us was to use a planer to square a small block of wood.

About the only thing I learned in that wasted semester is that I can’t square a block of wood. By the way, neither could about half the boys in the class. That meant we got Fs in the class. You would think someone, somewhere, somehow in one of those higher offices might have figured out the uselessness of it.

Then too. It was a public school. That would be expecting too much. That would be expecting excellence in education. That is foreign to public schools.

Too Many!

It has been said too many civilians are dying in Gaza. It has been said too many captives are dying.

I agree now let’s hold the guilty responsible. And, by the way, it is not the Israelis. They are doing all possible to keep all deaths down. The guilty are among the Hamas and the 75 percent of those in Gaza that voted them in.

Then again if you are among those that support Hamas, you will believe the lies, Indeed you will gladly repeat them. Indeed you will support the terrorists who invented them.

Sometimes, Repetition is Good

I am sitting here, watching The Sound of Music, again. I would guess it’s about the 20th time. On the other hand, I’ve heard the music countless times and then some. I have also seen a couple of stage versions, one with Patrice Muncel. One nice thing about the stage versions is that the stage versions have 2, maybe 3 songs the movie doesn’t and they are nice songs.

Regardless, I am again enjoying the movie. There is the music and the scenery. There is the humor, the children, and of course, the plot, itself.

Don’t mistake my words. It was a horrible thing Hitler did, but he just might have saved us from something worse. The Communists were just as bad. The world fought off Hitler and his bunch, only to be left with far worse. Now, we not only have enemies outside our gates but inside as well. They have disguised themselves as the friends and advocates for the minorities. Of course, the only thing they really advocate is the unification of all governments under one authority and, of course for their good.

In another way, seeing the movie brings out my ire every time as it reminds me of what the Nazis did. Even so, I remember my history. While he took over Germany, they did keep the communists from doing the same, Had Hitler not stopped the communists, the world might have faced even a worse foe.

One might be surprised, but we ought not be. It was foretold in Daniel, in the Bible. It will happen one day. And it will be the worst of all authorities, the worst of all governments.

The thing is, I see no reason to hurry such things along, or at least, I don’t think so. I see no purpose in hurrying the communist takeover. It is only evil, start to finish. God will deal with it. He does know how.

So which is worse? The Nazis or the Communists? In affect, I am not sure there is a measurable difference.

They both specialize in killing and terrorizing.

Such a Shame

I’ve sort-of gotten spoiled and I am sure others have too. The imposed black scrimmage line and the yellow 1st down line sure help the fans keep perspective, I guess that’s what it’s called.

As I watch a game on TV, I can’t help but think that it’s a shame they can’t put a light on the field that would do the samething.

I’m sure it can be done. However, there are at least 2 conceivably problems, maybe 3. Any time a player got between the projection and the ground, the line would show on the player, not the ground. I suppose the question might also come up, do the refs use the projected line or do they try to ignore them.

Then too, if the player fell, looking into the light, it might cause eye damage or perhaps temporary blindness. I guess they will have to wait just a while longer for the technology. Eventually, maybe all the lines will be protected. That would help when the field is muddy or covered with snow.

Then too, no 1 team could use it unless they all did.
