Windshield Defrosters Wanted

I went out to get in my car this morning and saw an 1/8 of an inch of ice. (Now I wonder where that came from) As I worked on the ice, I was reminded of something I was told that they do in Alaska.

First, they winterized their cars. They have a heater under the battery and engine block. That way when they turn the key to start the car it won’t just sit there and look at you. I was also told that a heater is also in the cabin to keep the vinyl from cracking. Just going on 2nd hand info. Sounds good to me.

Of course the heaters aren’t much good unless they have some electricity. Therefore, most of the businesses have outlets to plug the cars into. So you get out of your car and plug it into the outlet. When you get back to your car when it’s 2 or 3 below 0, you will still have an operating car, and maybe not so cold in the cabin.

Alright. Here in the Midsouth, we don’t need all that stuff, but it would be nice. The two main things I’m concerned about having a clear windshield and a reasonably warm cabin. Is that too much to expect?

Those restaurants that had the plugins would likely have maybe a bigger drawing. All that would be needed is a small heating element in the cooling system and a little pump to circulate the fluid. The fan is already there. It would just need a little electricity to run it. I suspect the whole thing could work off a twelve volt outlet. I mean, all we need is a little heat.

Okay. If that’s too much, let’s do this. A small heating pad, like the ones you buy when your hip is sore. It would need to be about as long as the window is wide and it would have to be well insulated. Finally, it need only be heated to 50 degrees. That would be enough to prevent the window from icing over. Ice melts above 32 degrees.

You put the pad over the window and plug it in before leaving the car. Upon return, you come out to a nice clear windshield. Well, either that or a missing pad. I suspect some people would be prone to take them.

Not all solutions are perfect.

Revisiting Jan 6

It’s been 4 years. I don’t know, but I suspect that some that were imprisoned have not been charged. No one, but no one did anything worthy of imprisoning past 4 years.

My suggestion to President Trump is to commute the sentences of all those arrested in conjunction with Jan 6. Then allow each to present reason for pardons. Some will be obvious and can quickly be pardoned. For instance, those who never went inside the building.

On the other hand, I think Ray Epps should be chased down by the Marshal service and investigated. Not by the FBI. They likely have a bias in the matter. Moreover, an agent should be selected away from the DC area to keep him from being tainted as well.

Finally, a special investigator should be selected to interview each of the ones who were arrested. If they were denied their rights, those responsible should, at the least be given the opportunity to resign without benefits.

When the rest see what happens, it will be less likely to happen again.

Obvious

I think think this is another situation that calls for that phrase of wisdom, “Casual to the most obvious observer.” Let me explain, please. However, I need to get a little graphic with an illustration for which I hope you will understand and pardon me.

Let us say that a man, a Palestinian has a baseball bat with which he is beating another man, a Jew. While the man is beating the other man, he is using all kinds of Jewish ugly words about him being a Jew.

Now while this is going on, 10 people have been watching from the beginning. The police come along and break up the fight, but now before many of the press comes along and starts writing the story.

The policemen take both the men to the station and start asking questions.

Okay. The press immediately start writing stories about how the Jew started it. The onlookers all say they saw nothing and walk away. The Palestinian claims they Jew has no right to live and the Jew is still trying to figure out why he was attacked.

Immediately, law enforcement checks to see if he acted alone or if it was a hate crime. Did anyone tell the Palestinian to attack the jew or whether he just did it on his own.

They get the Palestinian’s phone and go through his house to see if the man belongs to some group. Then too, when and where was he turned into a radical.

In the old days, before all the political correctness, it would have been different. It would not have taken a week to decide what happened and what to do. First the one with the bat would go to jail for a while. He is guilty of assault, regardless of anything else.

As to whether he was acting alone, that is obvious. Of course he isn’t. Someone told him what to think about what to think about Jews and someone encouraged him to attack that Jew. He only acted alone in that he was the only one with the bat. That organization that radicalized that Palestinian was behind it. If anyone else was trying anything similar, guess what, the organization is behind that assault either.

For crying out loud, if I were the investigator, it would not take me no 2 weeks to figure it out.

The two recent terrorists, guess what? They were terrorists. Their effort was clearly to terrorize. You don’t have to be a genius to realize they succeeded. Moreover, from now on, we, all over the country will live our lives just a little different to avoid people like this. If you don’t believe me, just try getting on a plane nowadays. Because of the terrorists, we now have to arrive two hours before our flight is ready to leave. Our lives have been forever changed.

It is casual to the most obvious observer that it would be better to keep the terrorists out of the country, instead of inviting them in as Old Joe has.

There are those who would argue with me that these were American born citizens. However, who taught them to hate the US and Americans? Somewhere, somehow, these men were radicalized, likely by a terror organization. That, is what they have in common and it cannot be denied.

Moreover, my guess is that the two of them received there instructions a day or two before they did it. More than likely, we will never know who they were. The terrorists aren’t talking.

Yep! They Got That Corral Gate Closed Now!

It is an old saying you know. It comes from the old cowboy days when someone leaves the corral gate open and lets all the horses or cattle out. Then of course, someone goes over and closes the gate… shall we say a little late. Well, I guess they still get angry with someone when they don’t close the gates today.

Regardless, isn’t it nice to know that some official in New Orleans has those auto barriers now. It is sort of akin to closing the gate after the cattle, horses or sheep get out. Or… in this case after the terrorists kills and and injures dozens.

Well, what else would you expect when you vote for Dems to run the city?

Now, the one question I have that remains… Is someone going to lose their job over that? Is anyone even going to get their hand slapped? Is anyone even going to get called in on the carpet? I would be surprised to see if we even find out who was responsible, well that is, besides the mayor.

I know it is very far-fetched, but I would like to ask the question if they lowered the barriers in cooperation with the terrorist. As I say, it is far-fetched, but the timing is suspicious. As the guy in the TV ad asks, how will that person be able to sleep, regardless of what kind of mattress or how many mattresses he or she has.

What’s in a Name?

I happened to land on station where a Church of Christ preacher was trying to convince us that The Church of Christ is the only true church. He said it is only logical as it is named The Church of Christ. Better for him to teach about Jesus and salvation than to take such pride in his church. I mean, he has the attention of people for 15 to 20 minutes. Is it more important to speak on the Church of Christ or about Christ and salvation in that short time.

I listened to him for a while. I found it rather interesting the mental gymnastics he was going through to prove his point. The thing is, it had no standings. There is nowhere in the Bible that says that only the church named, Church of Christ is the real church. On the contrary. In the one place where people were trying to do anything like that, Paul scolded them. He said that some were saying that they they only believed Jesus, and some only Peter. (I Cor. 1:12…)

The only real important thing was what they taught. If they taught the word of God accurately, then they were part of the church of Christ. For years, the Catholics tried to claim they were the only Church. Today, there are still some that believe it. The hitch is that many of the things they teach are not biblical.

The way I judge a Church is very simple. If they teach the word of God accurately; if the church, especially the leadership practices what they preach, then I will give that church at least part of my approval. However, to give it my full approval, I have to see evidence that the Holy Spirit is moving in the church. If the Spirit of God approves of the church, who am I to say any different.

How do I know if the Holy Spirit is moving in the Church? It’s easy. If you have seen the Holy Spirit move in a church, you’d never again ask that question.

How-some-ever, here are some hints. The Holy Spirit always points to Jesus. It is part of his mission. If the preacher tries to claim the glory, he is not working under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If he says, his church is the only church, it is time to get highly suspicious. I believe there are likely 4 or 5 major denominations are valid representatives of God, though there may be more.

I am Southern Baptist. However, I have listened to several Presbyterian preachers that I respect very much. I have heard some non-denominational preachers too that I believe teach the word accurately. I have heard a few, not many, Lutheran preachers who knew of what they spoke. And, yes I have heard a few Church of Christ preachers who I respected. Strange as it may seem, I have even heard a few Catholic preachers who seemed to have it right.

The thing this. We really need to be careful about who we say are not of Jesus Christ. If the church is teaching good sound doctrine and the Holy Spirit is on them, maybe we should just hold our tongue.

If they are teaching unbiblical doctrine, yeah, then it is open season on them. However, take care. Before you open your mouth, open the Bible and make sure of your position.

Finally, one more thing. I have noticed that preachers of different faiths do have discussions with each other from time to time. This, believe it or not, without throwing bookends at each other. The good thing about that, each preacher will go away better for it. They will both understand the Bible better after when their ideology is challenged.

My Afterthought on My Previous Post About the Big Coverup by the Press

The press actively sought to deceive us for over 4 years. They stopped trying to deceive us when Old Joe messed up at the debate. Had he not had the debate, or if he had not messed up so bad, they would still be covering it up.

Then again, if he could have made it through the debate, he wouldn’t have needed the coverup so much, would he? Does anyone doubt that?

Does Anyone Now Doubt

Does anyone now doubt that Old Joe is suffering from dementia? Is there any reason we should doubt that he was suffering from dementia while he was ‘campaigning’ from his basement. Let’s face it, even the media is reluctantly admitting to his current state of mind.

Of course they try to say they didn’t know, but does anyone doubt that they knew all the time.

Finally, does anyone doubt that the dems used the pandemic to control this country for the last four years. They kept us from seeing our friends and relatives. They drove restaurants and businesses into bankruptcy. They destroyed the schools.

Oddly, they might have helped us there. Many, when they were forced to homeschool, learned the deficiencies of public education.

Do we ever, ever want to trust the dems, the government or the press ever like that again. Do we ever want people to be destroyed by as we have by the media and public opinion without ever considering that that they just might be wrong as they were so many times.

Let’s truly wait until the real facts are in.

The Law of Exclusivity

I don’t know if it exist yet. If not it should. I am declaring it now. It is as obvious as gravity. I mean, how can something be both true and false at the same time. Besides, the sound of it has a certain ring to it.

The fact of it is that it rings true. If it’s a hot day, it can’t be cold. If it is clear and sunny, it can’t be raining, leastwise in the same place at the same time. If a thing is good, it can’t be evil. If you’re going west, you can’t be going east. Well, that one is open to discussion. That is what Columbus tried to do.

It does seem strange, but the world’s scientist were convinced that we were going through a process of global cooling. Then, after a few years, it was global warming. Then, unable to make up their minds, they decided it was climate change. That is where it is getting hot or cold, depending on the weather of the day and where you live. And, of course, woe to the scientist that says otherwise, you know. All must accept the “fact” that the weather is getting cooler and warmer all at the same time.

The Dems are good at getting something to be good or evil at the same time. If you ask any of the leaders, they will tell you of the evils of guns. On the other hand, if your name’s Hunter Biden, the current gun laws don’t apply to you. Makes me wonder if I should change my name to Hunter Biden.

I guess the one thing that mystifies me the most though, is the way the Dems defy any effort to bring God into our public life, especially schools and courts. According to them, there is no God, you know. And then, come a disaster, natural or man made, suddenly they are asking one and all to pray for those suffering from it.

It does somewhat confuse and irk me, they don’t want us to pray to prevent the disaster, but they love so much to encourage prayer for recovery.

The fact is, God either exists or he doesn’t. He is not something to be turned on and off based on convenience. The Law of Exclusivity demands, you either believe in Him or you don’t.

The best thing, make sure you have made the right decision before you die. If you realize the truth after, you will also realize it is too late. Today is the time of your salvation. Now is your chance at eternal life. If you don’t accept it while you yet live, then you will have eternal death.

That is a fact of exclusivity. You cannot be lost and saved at the same time. If you have not been saved, then you are lost. Certainly, if you deny God and his Son, Jesus Christ, then you have committed the greatest sin of all and you will pay for it forever.

Two Flags?

I have said more than once, a person is really only has an allegiance to one flag. That creep that used that car as a weapon in New Orleans had an allegiance to one flag and what it represented. For some reason he decided to act on that allegiance at that time in that place.

My best guess is, someone gave him the order and he obeyed. My best guess is that there are a lot more men in this country who owe their allegiance to other flags, to other countries. It’s time to brace ourselves. My best guess is there will be more… for which we can thank Old Joe. He invited them in by the thousands. My best guess is that that character that set that bomb in Los Vegas got his marching orders too. My best guess is that his allegiance is to some other country too. Old Joe made the decision. We will be the ones to pay the price.
