Under the Weather
I am doing a lot of sleeping. Then when I awake, it takes quite a while to determine if it’s night or day. I don’t much care for the confusion. And, oh yes, there are the coughing fits. Every time I cough, it feels as if my head will explode.
Three days now, I think. I am really ready for this to be over.
My Johnny Cash Voice
I am sick with a runny nose and caugh. Because of the caugh, my voice has turned very deep. It is what a friend called my Johnny Cash.
It does cause a little curiosity. Do you suppose anyone will pay to hear me sing one of Johnny’s big hits. If so, just what is the going price for Fulsome Prison Blues?
There is one problem. I will need to pause occasionally to caugh.
It does remind me of a question. Has Fauci ever caught the China virus even once. maybe not. Maybe he ha a big cache of hydroxycloroquine. You suppose he said it doesn’t work so as he would have plenty for himself?
Judging Character
The question is am I a good judge of character?
Maybe I can answer it this way. I suspect I have been wrong more often than right.
Still, it won’t take me long to get it right. You can always tell about folks when they get angry. That is when they drop all their pretenses.
Think about how often do you reveal who you are through loss of temper.

The Tragedy of Ignorance
It is a great tragedy today. The vast number of people who will never go to heaven will be because of ignorance. How very much I would like to change that.
However, most dig in their heels and refuse to listen, not just me, but anyone. It is so to speak, tragedy on tragedy. No need to believe me. No need to listen to any preacher. It is in the Bible and it is clear.
The best preachers simply point out the passages and provide some explanation. If you don’t want to believe me or a preacher, if you really want to know the plan of salvation, Read Romans. It won’t take that long. Read John 3:16-17. Many have called this the good news in compacted form.
Unfortunately, many refuse to believe it is that simple, in essence, making it complex to those who don’t want to believe. Read I Corinthians 1:23. The Bible says there that to the unbeliever, Jesus’ death on the cross is foolishness. To the Jews it is contrary to their religious traditions and beliefs. However, for those who understand and believe, it provides the power for mankind to become the children of God. And therefore, residents of Heaven.
Please don’t believe me. Men can, will and have deceived. The word of God is true.
At the Dinner Table
Those who have read my posts know I do get flippant. I guess this is another one but let’s please look at it a little deeper.
When I was in boot camp, we all looked forward to mealtime. It was not just a time where we could eat, it was also a time when we could relax. Other than when we slept it was virtually the only time we could take it easy for about 15 minutes.
Far more than that, us humans are social. We never like eating alone. When we look across the table, we prefer to have someone looking back. I would suspect, besides my own experience, most everyone will agree with me, even those psychologists.
Most of us also agree it is good for a family to sit around the table at least once a day, preferably twice. It strengthens bonds and provides a feeling of belonging.
I’m old. It won’t be long I will be with the master, the creater of the universe. I will be able to dine with Him. I think that will then be my favorite place of all.
Something Missing?
Trump seems to have been found guilty by the Colorado Supreme Court. I think something is missing.
Who made the charges? Where is the indictment? What happened to the trial by jury? These are all primary requirements for conviction.
In general, this all takes place long before the Supreme Court takes it up, if at all.
As I said. Something missing. Regardless, wrong court. Insurrection is a federal offense, not state. Colorado has no jurisdiction.
It does make me wonder, have these jurists been partaking in the Coors, or maybe Coors Lite? Then again, they might have gone out of state to remain politically correct and drank some of the Milwaukee brew. For that matter, maybe plenty of both.
Impossible, but What if?
California is so far left, they’re going to start bumping up agin the curb. That is why I call it impossible. Nonetheless, I propose a situation that just might cause the party of dems to explode.
Let us say the California dems take their vote for granted and stay at home. Assume there’s some bad weather. I don’t know. Maybe Joe or one of his friends says something that hurts their feelings. (not difficult)
On the other side, there is a 100% turnout of the California Republicans. Then the impossible happens.
I wonder just what that would do with the dems. Now, let me see. Just how many electors does California have.
Hint to California Republicans. 2024 presidential election…vote. NY Republicans… vote. Then you can go home and watch as the dems start going stock raving mad.

Anyone Care?
As for me, as far as I’m concerned they have been far too wrong far too many times for me to have any faith in them at all. I would guess they are batting close to 1.000 at being wrong. When someone is wrong that much, it’s time to believe the opposite of what they say.
Actually, truth be told, I didn’t have much faith with them in the first place, ever since they said AIDS is not contagious by blood. That’s right. They said that not long before Arthur Ashe contracted it by transfusion.
I am convinced their guidance is directly responsible for the death of thousands, first for AIDS, and now the China Virus. Considering their record, I think they should have been desolved and we could save a bundle and a quarter in financial resources.
I’ve tried of their politically correct methodology.
It’s the Thought That Counts
Recently, the Colorado Supreme Court decided to take the vote from a lot of Colorado citizens. Moreover, it is likely other states will follow suit.
I suspect it will never fly. I think it will be shot down by the US Supreme Justices, if you’ll excuse the poor metaphor.
Thing is, as they say, it’s the thought. Even now, I am sure, those dems are thinking or perhaps have already thought of a way or two to negate our vote. Also, you and I know, they will not let any law get in the way. They are likely implementing their plan even now. We all know their religion is communism and anything is right in their eyes if it furthers their religion.
