Lower the Ocean

`It would seem we are in dire danger of flooding as the result of the ocean overflowing its shorelines.  Okay.  Let us assume this is true.  If so, it is very important for us to do all we can to prevent it, or at least slow it down.  I have two suggestions on how we can do it.

Firsts, for years we have been filling in large areas of the ocean.  Look at all they did at Dubi where they made the big artificial islands.  Parts of The San Francisco are landfills too.  We need to reverse this.  We can dig out the earth from below the oceans and haul it up onto the land.  The ocean waters will fill it in and, at the same time, it will raise the level of the land.

Second, we can pump ocean water up onto the land.  From what I understand, The Dead Sea is shrinking.  Also, the Salton Sea in southern California is shrinking too.  We could pump a gallon or two into these two places and it would improve both places.  I’m sure there are a few other places where we can put a few gallons without disturbing the ecology.  In fact, it might even improve the ecology.  Can you imagine someone fishing in the middle of the Saudi Desert… or maybe the Sahara for that matter.

By the way, if we pump enough ocean water into the desert, they might be able to make a big tourist area.  That way, when the Saudis run out of Oil, they charge fees for us to visit their desert riviera.  Can you imagine boating across the Sahra?  Or if they dug a few canals, they could use them for shipping.

Then again, if we solve the problem, those worshiping climate change would lose one of their alarms.  Then again, maybe not.  They just might start complaining that the oceans levels are falling.

Why Does Everyone Compare People to Hitler?

It seems these days, every time I turn around, someone is comparing someone to Hitler.  It is as if Hitler was the worst man that ever lived.  Actually, hardly thinking, I can think of at least three men worse than Hitler.  By the way, they were all communists: Lenin, Stalin and Mao Tse-tung.  Each of them killed far more than Hitler.

I’m not trying to say that Hitler is any less a villain, but it would seem that the communist leaders are immune to being used for comparisons.

So when people try to compare President Trump to Hitler, it is nice to know they don’t want to compare him to the worst of the worst.

Nonetheless, they are showing their ignorance.  Hitler was trying to gain utter control of all the world.  President Trump is trying to return fredoms that the socialists are trying to take from us.  President Trump is trying to counter the efforts of the globalists that would like to put the whole world under the terror of one world government.

Actually, I don’t think it is ignorance at all.  Those pushing socialism know exactly what they are trying to do; seek power.  They want to control all we do and all we think. Then, President Trump had the audacity and the courage of getting in their way.

Mayor Pete’s Oversight

Mayor Pete would do well to put aside his pride and remember Who ultimately makes the rules.  If he doesn’t get right with Jesus Christ before meeting Him face-to-face, homosexuality will be amoung his least conserns.  God will not likely be impressed by smart-allecy remarks, especially the ones where he implies he has some say-so in what is right or wrong.  He needs to remember that when we think we are smarter than God, we are always wrong.

Worth repeating

Post 9/11, we need to know who enters OUR country.  Rona McDaniel said something to this effect.  I don’t know if it is an exact quote but it is something well worth repeating.  However, some of those dummycrats haven’t a clue.  Others don’t care.  It is sort of like the character that said that we have two problems in this country, ignorance and indefference.  I suspect that he had the dummycrats in mind.

Then again, there are those who know and do care.  They are willing to ignore it in hopes of acquiring power.  Almost all dictators of the twentieth and twenty-first century have relied on socialism to obtain their control of civilization.  The rest were mostly religeous fanatics such as Muslims.

So far, I haven’t noticed any true Christian that offered anything but feedom.  By the way, that does not include the Catholics, Seventh Day Adventests and such.  We do know they they do not truely preach freedom or Christianity.  They only teach their religeon.

A Point of Fact About NAZIs

President Trump cannot be a NAZI.  Point of fact… NAZI are socialists.  Hitler was a socialist.  President Trump is not socialists.  He is a capitalist and does not like socialism.  When someone calls our president a NAZI, they are just showing their ignorance.  Then again, why should anyone be surprised.  It is why I call them dummycrats, a title they well deserve,

Farmland

I was seven when I moved to the small city of Garden Grove, California.  A year or so later, they started building Disneyland in another small city called Anaheim.  From time to time, we passed by the construction and we could see it from the highway.

One day, it was all orange groves.  Then, in a few days, when the heavy equipment was done, it was all dirt.  Then things started appearing.  It started taking shape.  Where the dirt once was, small rivers appeared.  The most notable thing we could see was Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.  We could also see Captain Hook’s ship.  When the park first opened, it was called The Chicken of the Sea and they served tuna sandwiches on it.  Last time I visited the park, Carnation had taken over the ship, and, need I say, they changed the name of the ship.

The whole area around the park continued to be orange groves, but that quickly changed.  Nowadays, you would have to search for a while to see a grove anywhere around the park.  Truth be known, you likely won’t find any orange groves around Disneyland.  For that matter, I don’t think you will find many in the county, if any.

I remember going to Newport Beach on weekends.  On the way back, we bought strawberries.  There were dozens of farms on both sides of Harbor Blvd and we bought all the  strawberries we wanted for little more than a dollar.  I don’t know for sure, but I would guess they don’t grow strawberries along Harbor Blvd. anymore.  For that matter, they may not grow them in any of Orange County.

When I was stationed at MCAS El Toro, I saw them growing crops yearround around the base.  They actually grew three crops a year.  I suspect that those fields in the area helped to support millions of people.  They grew lettuce, cabbage, and all sorts of stuff.

Nowadays, there are houses and businesses where the farms once were.  I don’t know the reasons.  No one told me but I can guess.  One thing I do know.  The value of the land skyrocketed.  I must conclude that the taxes on the land went up too.  Besides, the farmers likely saw the benefit of selling out.  They were likely able to sell the land at a small fortune.

A farmer sells his land, and a few months later, a bunch of houses grow up where there were once orcherds.  You drive from Garden Grove today to Newport Beach and you’ll not see any strawberries.  Disneyland and the area around it have become one hotel and motel after the other.  About the only trees you see in the area anymore are in Disneyland… and they are made from concrete.

No.  That is not completely true.  The roads are lined with palmtrees.  Some of the homes have one or two orange trees growing in their backyard.  Some people might grow peaches or tomatoes in their private gardens.

The problem is that farmers are being driven off prime farmlands.  I am sure that it is occurring all over the country.  So now, we have more and more people and we have less and less land with which to feed them.  Even worse, the land they do have is lower and lower quality.

I suspect that the Los Angeles, Orange County and Riverside County land as they once were could likely feed the whole country.  All three counties were at one time able to harvest three huge crops a year.  Now, Riverside is the only county left… and civilization is now creeping into Riverside.

As I look at it, I think, what a shame?  What do we do when we have houses and businesses on all the farmland?

The problem is being aggravated by illegal immigrants.  In a country where we have over 350 million, over 25 million came here illegally, either them or their parents.

Many believe that they are not a problem, but there is a fact that we must face.  There is a limited amount of land in this country.  There will never be any more.  We can not manufacture it.  Every time an illegal alien enters our country, it is just one more with which our children and grandchildren must share.

Of course, it means little to the millionaires, but to the rest of us, it means we pay more to have a place to live.  That is true if you buy or rent.  It also means we pay more in taxes and it also means that the farmers will have less land on which to grow the crops we need.  That means that the cost of food increases.

At this point, it is hardly noticeable.  Eventually, it will be easy to see.  The problem is that by then, it will be too late.  Returning illegal aliens is already difficult.  Returning their sons and daughters will be impossible.

It is time to build the wall.  It is time to stop them before they get into the country.  Then we will not have to return them.  What’s more, they won’t even try to enter.  The caravans will stop.  It will be better for us.  It will be better for them.  It is better that they improve their countries instead of destroying ours.

Drive Throughs

Perhaps one of man’s worst inventions is the drive-through.  I sit there in line and wait for someone to take my order at the counter and watch five orders go out through the drive-through window.  It just isn’t right.  They always put their highest priority on the drive-through window.  …and by the way, that is also where they put their best employees.

I know why they do it.  It is where they make their big money.  We have a Chick Filet nearby and the drive through generally has at least twenty cars waiting there to get their food.  Okay.  The cars aren’t waiting for the food.  It is the people in them that are hungry.  At least their counter staff is fast and efficient.  Even when the place is packed, I rarely have to wait but a few minutes to order my food.  The problem with them is finding a table.  (The place usually is packed.)

I learned a trick with them.  I park in a large parking lot next to the place.  If I don’t I just about can’t get out because of those trying to get in.  Besides, it does little good trying to find a place to park in their parking lot.  Large though it might be, it is usually full.

One thing I don’t understand is why the dummycrats don’t try to outlaw drive-throughs.  I think of all the other things they try to outlaw and it really makes me wonder.  After all, they were the ones that made McDonald’s get rid of the extra large drinks.  (Now that was dumb.  Now I have to go back and fill my Diet Coke up three times instead of twice.)

At any rate, drive-throughs are very bad for the environment.  Cars sit there and idle, maybe for half an hour.  That is a lot of carbon dioxide they spew out while their owners wait for their food.  Besides, it wastes fuel.  I just wonder how many barrels of oil are used just to allow drivers to sit in their air-conditioned cars while waiting for their food.

For that matter, why do the owners insist on waiting in their cars?  I have half a suspicion that most of them are dummycrats.  After all, none of them are complaining yet.  Moreover, they are likely the ones that are too lazy to walk a few yards from their cars into the restaurant.  (By the way, they don’t usually have to give up their air-conditioning but for a few seconds.  Most restaurants are air-conditioned.)  For some reason, they like to sit in their big SUV’s or pickups and glare at the rest of us for daring to use their precious resources.  …and of course, complain about the big drinks we buy.

Naturally, I just might be wrong, but if the drive-throughs were outlawed, I suspect that it would be the dummmycrats that would yell the loudest.  There would be an exception though.  Those that live in big cities mostly don’t use drive-throughs.  Mostly, they don’t drive.  Mostly, they just like to raise the taxes on the rest of us who do and use it on their buses and trains.

I don’t know New York City too well.  The only time I was there I spent a couple of hours looking out the windows of an airport waiting for a connecting flight.  However, I would guess, in the city proper, there aren’t many drive-throughs.  I suppose there are a few walkups.  It might seem odd to some, but I have seen a few walkups around here, though it was a drugstore.

I think about the craziest I saw was a drive-through pizza place.  To me, that simply does not make sense.  After all, it does take roughly twenty minutes to make a decent pizza.  None the less, it was late and they closed their dining room and counter so all pizzas had to be ordered at the drive-through window.  Needless to say, I took one look at that and found somewhere else.  I wasn’t about to wait until my turn to order my pizza and then wait for the pizza, all the time with my engine idling.  Considering it was near freezing outside, I wasn’t about to wait without the warmth of my heater either.

Senator Wicker disappointed me.  My first thought was that he made a dumb mistake.  After thinking it over, I figure more likely it was a bribe or threat.  I don’t know which.  It doesn’t matter.  He voted against the wall.  He gave the standard excuse, but he knew better.  He knew it was nothing more than an excuse.

Next time he comes up for election, I will not vote for him.  Even more, I will do everything in my power to keep him from being re-elected.  I know that isn’t much but I suspect he disappointed a few other Mississippians too.  When all is said and done, he just might be looking for another job before too long.  I hope so.  It just might be a lesson for others as well.

“The New Green Deal?”

First, there is nothing new about communism.  It is as old as Marx, though it has been called by many different things.

Second, though it has been tried dozens of times, it has never succeeded.  I’m not saying it usually failed or even most of the time.  It has always failed.

Finally, it is a means to an end.  Vicious people have used it to gain control over people.  Stalin, might have been the first, but he was not the last.  In the name of the ideal society, he killed millions, many of them farmers.  Indeed, he killed more than Hitler.  History is full of people who promised the heaven and presented hell.  In each and every case, it has ended in a dictatorship where even thoughts are controlled.  What I say has been true 100% of the time.

In each case, those who rose to power climbed over the poor and abused.  A person would have to be blind to see that it is the same method they would like to use in the US.  Of course, they say they are different than the dictators.  Yet, they have no scruples.  They use lies, deception and trickery in every direction.  It is not to make things better for us, but rather to acquire power for them.  If they succeed, they will live in luxery while the rest of us suffer.  It is the pattern.  They don’t care about the poor and abused.  They are nothing more than tools.  When they have control, they will be worse off than before.  By the way, so will the rest of us.
