Color Me The Reluctant Republican
My father was a Republican so, for years, so was I. The problem was, over the years, my ideas changed and are changing. Therefore, I have adopted a different attitude has changed. I do not ever support the Republican party anymore. I always support individuals, but only those that generally agree with me.
If any Republican wants to know how to get me support
- Build the wall. In the past I have seen a Republican party weak on illegal immigration. I may hold my nose and vote for the weak Republican but I will not provide any support and I discourage others to do the same.
- support police and law enforcement
- overspending.
- of course, I do get suspicious when representatives and or senators become millionaires.
- I will not support nor will I vote for anyone who supports pro choice legislation. I would prefer pro life, but at this point, I will settle for not pro choice.
In addition, I have been disappointed with Bush Sr and Jr. I am convinced that neither Gulf War was necessary. A few of the right words would have kept Hussain in his own backyard.
From what I understand Bush Sr never did or said anything to discourage Hussain, though he had a 3 day warning. Moreover, after Bush Jr did go in, it should have been a total occupation.
In both cases, we should have charged them for our cost. There is no reason that the American people should have to pay for Hussain’s stupid hunger for power.
Words
Some folks just don’t want to use the right words. My first thought was that they don’t know better but that can’t possibly be. I hear people, most of whom must have college degrees using, abusing and misusing words. I think it is intentional. I think they abuse words in hopes of deception.
Let’s start with migrate. Birds migrare. Heards migrate. Sometimes even people migrate to follow the harvests. The folks coming north of or border, by legal definition are illegal immigrants. That is the way it is spelled out in the code. If you use any other terminology, you’re wrong, either by ignorance or intentionally.
So. Which is it. If you use the wrong words, is it stupidity or deception?
By the way, lest anyone get the wrong idea, illegal immigrants actually does mean illegal. Maybe the first step in dealing with the problem is to use the right words.
Never Thought About It
I guess, as long as I get to dream, which cost nothing, what I really would like; what I would really prefer is a staff of two and room for the 3 of us.
I need people with whom I can consult. There are the simple things, to be sure. Are things spelled right? Have I used the right punctuation? Sometimes I leave things out. On some occasions, I use far more words than I need.
However, sometimes I spend hours in research. I guess I should write more about what I know. It just is, sometimes my characters, all by themselves, decide to take off for India. Now, in view of the fact that some of my readers are from India, I really don’t like to admit it but I know very little of the country. Well, I have seen a few old movies.
Then too, I would like a good fact checker. I hate it when, in my blogging, I get facts wrong. Right now, I am my own fact checker and sometimes I get it wrong.
The dreams, of course, cost nothing. However, a staff of 2 would cost real money, which I don’t have.

Not Legal…
There are people among us who are not loyal to our nation, our people or our Constitution. Given the chance, they will kill terrorize and they will attempt to turn our nation into the land the left behind.
It is why I have written that before a person is permitted to become a citizen, he should be required to renounce his former citizenship and his country. Since I wrote that, I suggest 2 more things. First, that they pledge that they have have no plans to use violence or subversion to attack or destroy the US or the Constitution. 2nd, this should all take place before the oath of citizenship.
Moreover, it should be retroactive in that those not willing to renounce their former country should lose their American citizenship, possibly being deported.
It is not legal. It is a political disaster. However, without a doubt, it is the right thing to do. The problem is that I believe we have reached the point of no return. It will take a miracle to reverse the situation.
Right now, such a miracle is the last thing that Old Joe and his friends want right now. It would stand in the way of gaining total control. On the other hand, if things get a little out of hand, as they have in the past, that might cause him to lose control as well. It is even quite plausible, we might all lose as a result.
New Record
The report is that a new all time record for illegal aliens coming across the border in one month.
What one word does Old Joe secretary spread among his staff?
HORRAY! where will be repeated at least 3 times. However, some caution still remains. They still don’t want the jubilation revealed quite yet.
1961 Oldsmobile Starfire
I don’t know how to say it, but it just looked to me the way a car should look. over the years, cars as well as the starfire went through changes. To me, they were not improvements. They got smaller, more expensive, but not as good.
The Starfire had a distinctive look. When you see one, it is instantly recognized. No other car ever looked similar before or since. Now similarities seem to goals.
Yeah. What a shame. Oddly, it is what we let our government do to us. Cars used to represent the owner. Cars now seem to all be designed by a small group of people to represent the government’s idea of the ideal transport. Individuality is being qushed, and not only with cars.
My car was was designed and built by Nissan. Yet, since I bought it, I found it has many resemblances to other cars, designed and built by other manufacturers, in the US & in Europe. I don’t understand that.
I guess, if the trend continues, all cars will look the same with a different logo on it.
Which begs the question, just who is copying whom.

Did You Ever Notice
During Holidays, especially Christmas the government hardly get anything done?
Sounds like a good idea. We need to have holidays 364 days a year. On day 365 they can get all the essentials done and still have time for afternoon tea and biscuits.
Just Not Right
As mentioned earlier I am sleeping a lot due to illness. So I wake up and I see NFL Sunday. Not only that, they say they are coming from Los Angeles.
My first impression was, just what happened to Saturday?
I mean, I am in something of a fog these days but how does one lose a Saturday.
Then, another thing occurred to me. It was snowing. When the realization hit me, I figured they had a snow machine. No one on the set was dressed for cold.
Then I was somewhat reassured as the camera backed off some so I was able to see the snow machine. Now I’m not even sure it’s snow. After all they are right next to the land of special fx.
Now, as for the missing Saturday. Let’s face it. No form of special effects can pull that off. My handy dandy tablet was right next to me. I picked it up and it said that today is Saturday. And unlike TV programs, the computer never lies.
Now I feel so much better.
