I almost never find myself in agreement with Hillary Clinton. So, as incredible as it may seem, I must admit I find myself in total agreement with one of her recent statements. Our nation is certainly in a state crisis. Of course, she ought to know. She was the cause of it.

AOC
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to think it would be better if we went back to the horse and buggy days. The problem with that is that there aren’t many horses and buggies around anymore. Maybe she has a few she wants to sell.
It’s why I call them dummycrats. Anyone who has a brain can tell that her ideas are horrible. If she gets re-elected in 2020, it will say a lot about those who voted for her.
Remember, if the government provides all our needs, then it also has total control over us. That is called tyranny. It is not compatible with our constitution. It is why the dummycrats want to control the judicial system. They know they can’t force their non-constitutional ideas upon us without twisting the meaning of The Constitution.
By the way, when the dummycrats are elected, they take an oath to defend The Constitution. Virtually all of them are guilty of ignoring that oath. Anyone who has a good knowledge of The Constitution should realize that.
The Walls?
If there were walls around California and New York, people would be scaling the walls to leave the states… sort of like East Berlin.
If there were walls around Texas and Florida, people would be scaling the walls to get in… sort of like the US.
Do we really want dummycrats running the country as they do New York or California?
As a side note, East Berlin was an ecological disaster before the wall came down… sort of like China. West Berlin was a clean modern city. Now, the whole city is clean. Communism only works in the imagination of dummycrats.
A New Use for a Robot
With a background in electronics, computers and the Marines, it is only normal I should have an interest in robots. Already robots have changed the way we fight wars. A drone is nothing more than a specialized robot. It is certainly nice to be able to send out a drone to have a good look to see what enemy assets are in the area.
I saw on TV a robot that looks a lot like an ox. The Pentagon looked at it as a vehicle to carry a soldier’s ammunition and equipment while walking behind him. The robot they demonstrated actually had the ability to follow the soldier automatically. It sounded like a good idea to me, but with two changes. First, I would like to ride on the back of the robot and I would like to have two fifty-caliber machineguns mounted out in front of me. From what I understand the defense department discontinued the idea. The robot was too noisy. Still, I would guess they are still looking into it. A robot capable of running thirty or forty miles an hour for a few hours is something I would want to have on my side.
I also noticed they have two-legged robots. They walk, run and even do flips. I am sure there are a few Vietnam vets that wished they had something like that walking out in front of the squad. First, the robot might be better at spotting the enemy and booby traps. Even more, if the robot tripped one, the robot would be lost. That would be bad, but not nearly as bad as a soldier setting one off.
The robots have many other uses too, that is, besides the assembly lines. Think of it. A surgeon in Seattle can perform procedures on a man in Nome, Alaska. In addition, the surgeons can use the robots locally because the movements can be more precise than a human’s hands. Also, they can access very small places. I suppose the robots have other advantages in surgery, but I’m no expert on it.
In a related field, bionics are making large strides. In the near future, people who are paralyzed, or even missing legs, will walk as well or better than those of us who still have our legs. It beats using crutches. I know. I had to use them for quite a while after breaking my ankle.
Of course, one new field for robots is in cars and trucks. In the near future, most of us might not drive our own cars. Though it produces a whole new set of problems, the robots will likely be much safer. They have instant reactions and they don’t get distracted. Some people would likely insist on doing their own driving, but eventually, all cars will be driven by a computer.
I suppose I’m not telling most of you anything new. Most of what I have written is common knowledge. However, I think I have a new use for a robot; one that no one else has thought of. They could build one that would MC the OSCARS. Just think; it would have no prejudice. It wouldn’t laugh at its own jokes, and its feelings wouldn’t be hurt if people made fun of it. Then of course, the biggest advantage would be that it would have no history. No one could find something that it did forty years ago while in the first grade.
“The New Green Deal?”
First, there is nothing new about communism. It is as old as Marx, though it has been called by many different things.
Second, though it has been tried dozens of times, it has never succeeded. I’m not saying it usually failed or even most of the time. It has always failed.
Finally, it is a means to an end. Vicious people have used it to gain control over people. Stalin, might have been the first, but he was not the last. In the name of the ideal society, he killed millions, many of them farmers. Indeed, he killed more than Hitler. History is full of people who promised the heaven and presented hell. In each and every case, it has ended in a dictatorship where even thoughts are controlled. What I say has been true 100% of the time.
In each case, those who rose to power climbed over the poor and abused. A person would have to be blind to see that it is the same method they would like to use in the US. Of course, they say they are different than the dictators. Yet, they have no scruples. They use lies, deception and trickery in every direction. It is not to make things better for us, but rather to acquire power for them. If they succeed, they will live in luxery while the rest of us suffer. It is the pattern. They don’t care about the poor and abused. They are nothing more than tools. When they have control, they will be worse off than before. By the way, so will the rest of us.
An Alert to the Citizens of N.Y. City
Trucks and freight trains run on fossil fuel. Trucks and freight trains carry food into the city of New York. If we do away with fossil fuel (Diesel fuel) the people will starve. Simple fact.
…and people people have a hard time believing my books. At least I label my books as fiction. The Dummycrats expect us to accept this fiction as science.
Bottom line… it is about power, not saving the planet.
Cars, Planes and Trains
I have always had a fascination with trains. I guess most kids do, but most people grow out of it. If I had it to do over again, I might have chosen to work, in some way, with trains. I think I would have really liked to be a conductor.
I especially like the old steam trains. Most think that the old steam locomotives were replaced because they didn’t have the power that the Diesel does. Actually, that isn’t true. The old steam engines had plenty of power. …and by the way, they were fast too. Casey Jones often pushed his train at one-hundred miles-an-hour. Besides, his engine was not the newest. The newest engines were powered by steam turbines. They were not only powerful, but they were also very efficient.
The downfall of the steam engine was maintenance. If they could have used good clean water, they would not have had to have nearly so much maintenance, but the old boilers required a lot of regular work.
That aside, the dummycrats would like to see us abandon our cars and planes and use trains. That won’t work. A 747 can carry around 350 passengers. It seems odd and counter-intuitive, but that is about the number of passengers that the average train carries. That means, while trains are okay for short runs, they are horrible for the long haul.
Besides, there are just some places trains can’t go. The tourist’s trade of Hawaii might have some real complaints if we did away with planes. Moreover, train tracks require a lot of maintenance and, oddly, they are nowhere near as safe as commercial airlines.
Finally, it would never happen anyway. Those congressmen would never let it happen. It already takes Pelosi five hours to fly between San Francisco and D.C. I do not think she would want to spend three days riding a train each way.
Oh yes, one more thing. You try taking those keys away from those California drivers and you will have a fight on your hands. That is not going to happen. I would like to see them try that. It would turn the state from blue to red overnight.
President Trump’s #1 Accomplishment
President Trump has accomplished so much that it is difficult to determine just which is his greatest accomplishment. While he has not yet completely replaced Obama Care, it is all but gone. In a year or so, it will no longer exist; other than in our memories, or more accurately, our nightmares.
Certainly, he has done wonders for our economy. He has brought back a bunch of jobs, particularly in manufacturing. Some might not like it, but he has challenged the countries of Russia, China and Iran. He pulled us out of The Paris Climate Conference, which would have been disastrous for our economy.
I am sure I have left out one or two things, but I have come to the conclusion that we have overlooked the one thing that was most important. I say ‘we’ because, until this evening, I never considered it.
To the best of my knowledge, no one else has mentioned it, leastwise not directly. In indirect ways, many have talked around it. Some have even denied it, though they had no idea of it.
Actually, in a way, President Trump has come close to speaking on it, though I am sure it was not his intention. His accomplishment will change things forever, regardless of anything else he has done. It will change this nation for both liberals and conservatives, for Republicans and dummycrats. The dummycrats would like to deny it, but, when and if confronted, they will have to admit it.
President Trump has exposed the media bias. No more will people ever trust the news media. Some will not trust the big newspapers and networks. Many will not trust the conservative outlets. To be sure, no one will ever have the total trust of all of us, as did Walter Cronkite.
Good Guys Finish Last?
To some degree, the adage “nice guys finish last” has again been proven true. Because President Trump did not want the federal employees to continue to lose their pay; because Pelosi could care less about those who were suffering, the nice guy – President Trump lost. The heartless one – Pelosi won.
In the end, however, the good guys may yet win. If Pelosi goes back on her word, as she has done so many times before, President Trump can still come out victorious. He can declare the emergency and build the wall anyway. What’s more, he might build it bigger and longer. Then Pelosi will be the one with egg on her face. The real villain will lose and the people will see how effective it is. Finally, in the end, the people will see how much of a liar Pelosi is.
Of course, it should not be a surprise to anyone. After all, she is a dummycrat and lying is what dummycrats do.
BUILD THE WALL!!!
Apologies
Seems that there are a bunch of apologies being made by the dummycrats recently, especially by the ones thinking about running for president. I can’t say for sure, but I suspect they all have one thing in common. They are all likely empty apologies. Then again, I might be wrong. They might actually be real. After all, they are dummycrats. They might have just been lying, either before or now. Your guess is as good as mine as to which.
