5 months, 4 days

I just looked it up. That is how long HAMAS has held out, continuing to fight.

It raises the question. They are going without food and water but, apparently they continue to have ammo. How do you suppose that is? Why do you suppose that is? Just where are their priorities?

Just how much ammo did they have stored away? On the other hand, maybe someone is resuppling them.

I don’t know. I can’t even guess. I only know that they have to have gone through tons of war supplies. They must have tons more. If they are not running out, how are they being supplied? Who is supplying them?

Finally, I hope I’m not the only one asking these questions.

Pete Imagines Himself Telepathic

I saw our not so wonderful Secretary of Transportation Sunday say that President Trump did not want the so-called bipartisan bill passed so that he could use it against Old Joe (my term for the current occupier of The OvalOffice).

Now I wonder just how it is that Pete knows that. Did a little birdie tell him? Of course not. Most birds don’t talk. My suggestion is that he is able to read minds, that is to say, he is able to perceive the thoughts of others simply by his incredible intelligence.

With that great genius, I don’t suppose it might have occurred to him that Trump thought it to be a horrible bill. And by the way, it was. It would have only made the problem worse. Maybe Trump decided to fight the bill because he knew the real purpose behind the it, as did Pete. I am sure Pete knew it was a bad bill too.

However, I will not play the mind reader. I will not pretend to be clairvoyant. I won’t even to pretend to be a genius. I don’t need to stretch the truth as Pete did. I can easily think of 3 reasons why Pete might have said such a thing but I’ll just stick with my best guess.

It was what he was told to say. If you consider it all, I am sure you can think of a few more reasons. I mean the man did try to run for president.

As my aside, we all know his qualifications. He was the mayor of a not so large city. From what I’ve heard he didn’t do that well. And may I say to, one and all, his credentials for second guessing the man that actually did control the border are badly lacking.

Disappointed in Wicker

Those who have been following me know most of my thoughts on politics, especially the Mexican border.

In at least one case Wicker voted to weaken border security. In at least 3 other instances he voted wrong in my eyes on very important issues.

I’m not telling you how to vote, but I am saying I will vote for Ghannon Burton. it is half a vote against Wicker and half for Burton. I am but one but I already know that vote will count. Already Wicker is flooding the air waves, including the expensive Memphis media. Looks to me as a desperate measure. He is doing far more advertising than any such encumbant should need to. It indicates I am far from alone.

Non-violent Crime

Every day, and night, we are treated to one commercial after the next about ID theft and home theft. We are encouraged to buy their product so that someone can’t steal our house or our identification.

Why is that? Because ID theft is simple and, if a person is caught, they are rarely prosecuted. And why, may I ask, aren’t they locked up? Simple. No one gets physically hurt.

The victims likely suffer psychological & economically in ways and beyond measure. It has been a pain to our national economy but, apparently, that doesn’t matter. The hours spent in court getting these things straight must be in the millions, let alone the loss in productivity as the because of people off the job while fighting the harm, no not physically, but to family, reputation and even to the businesses they work for.

  1. laws to to be stronger
  2. violators must me encarcerated
  3. methods of finding violations and violators must be enhanced
  4. methods for securing home titles and personal IDs. Why must we make it so easy to steal that which is just almost as important to us as life.

Why should Americans have to pay for security that ought to be a protection of our governments.

Then, perhaps, maybe, possibly, we won’t have to watch so many ads for promotion of spending our hard earned money to do that which should be done by Uncle Sam, or state government.

Fidler on the Roof, Again

I have seen the movie many times. I saw the stage version once. So, when I noticed it was on TV tonight, naturally I am watching it again. I simply do not know of a better musical. Actually, it’s a good movie too. If you haven’t seen it, you must. It is at my command. You will not regret it.

Nonetheless, in our house, the movie has a new viewer of the feline kind. At least during the first minute or two, she was watching and listening very intently.

The birds were chirping and making song and the cat was investigating intensely. I’m afraid after that, the cat lost interest. She just doesn’t appreciate good music.

I hope you take away from it the little bit of history woven into fiction. It does help explain how thing were set up for the Holocaust. It is a part of world history that most schools don’t cover.

Covid Shot? Never Again

Been getting blood clots since my last one.

As near as I can tell, it doesn’t work. I have had it 3 times. No thanks. Never ever going to take the word of CDC ever, ever again. They lied about the virus. They lied about the effectiveness of the shot. The lied many times about AIDS and knew it. Amazing how people can get paid so much for outright dishonestly.

Now they want us to take, what is it? the 10th or 11th.

I figure, if I can survive the virus 3 times, I’ll likely it survive again.

Wheels Falling From the Sky

Big ones, like 260 lbs big ones.

It seems less than a month ago, a short time after given clearance to take off, the big jet lost a nose wheel. It harmlessly rolled off to the dismay of pilot & 1st officer.

By the way, it was not that long ago, a plane lost a panel after climbing, what, about 12 thousand feet, can’t remember. Today, I just heard of some kind of wing problem.

And then this. The wheel came down and totaled a few cars in the employee parking lot. (I hope one of them belonged to the one that did not properly secure that wheel. Not much chance I guess.) Regardless, the wheel could have been lethal. As the witness pointed out, it could have squashed a person like a grape, perhaps as it did with the cars.

By the way, remind me, never buy a house in line with a runway. Now wait a minute. Maybe I should sell the house I’m in before one of those not so useless parts falls on my house.

Moreover, many homes and buildings lie close to the take-off patterns of Memphis International.

One expert said that wheels falling off A/C is rare, which I find comforting, really. What I find less comforting is the fact that it does seem be recurring more often.

Just maybe we should redirect our attention back to safety rather than what color a person’s skin is. ESG is one of those things that sounds really neat until planes start falling out of the sky.

Same as when I was in the Marines. As long as that man next to me could carry his weight and could hit what he aims at, I would never care if his skin was purple. To me, the mission is priority one, not two and certainly not three. My survival depends on it. Our unit success depends on it. The lives we are defending depends on it.

Side note, I did know many good Marines who were black. My one question might be if I was good enough to share that foxhole with him. You see, he would depend on me as much as I would depend on him. I would have never been able to live with myself if I failed him.

The Assumptions

Assuming Old Joe wanted a border in control, after 3 years, why hasn’t he fixed it?

Assuming Old Joe wanted safe streets, after 3 years, why aren’t the safe?

There are far more examples, but I think I’ve made my point.

Backlashed

Backlash is the word used in in the articles I read about Biden’s intentions to remove any recollection of the iconic celebrated kiss on Times Square. Instantaneously, the effort ceased.

The whole thing was virtually over by the time I heard of it. Then, I began thinking about it. In truth, this is an attempt at thought control. It was an attempt to change, or should I say destroy history.

The woman didn’t object. As a matter of fact, the two became friends. Then, all of a sudden, the dems decided it was time for that little segment of our our national history to just quietly disappear.

Then PEOPLE “backlashed,” if I may say. They got together and said, Don’t do that! Figuratively, of course. notice no quotation marks.

My original thought was, that was good. I would really like that little part of our history to remain for a century or two. I don’t have much hope for that. When the dems want something destroyed, it will be destroyed. It is simply a matter of time. Once the incident fades from memory, they will make another attempt, but more carefully.

They will use the same methods they used on the statues. 50 years ago, people would have backlashed when people destroyed statues.

However, once the dems remolded the statues into evil icons, they are gone. Gone too, is the history behind them all, be that good or be that bad.

As I said, mind control. And where be the backlash? Who stands in the way of such righteous indignation, but for a fleeting moment.

50 years ago, the open borders of Old Joe would never have been tolerated. It would have been backlashed.

Today any effort to close the border has become evilized by the dems and by the press. (Redundant. Press and dems, same-same.)

It’s more than a pattern. It is a method to control history, minds and our future, by control of our past. And, you see. There is no backlash. Today, our Constitution is history. Tomorrow, it will be evil. A little while later, it will be gone.

Even now the the thought engineers are busy designing ways to make the Bible and Christianity evil. Need I explain what they intend to do next. If they can make it evil, they can destroy it.
