The Truth comes Out!!

Well some of it does. They say that 24 (or was it 26?) men were among those in the group that went into the capitol building, were FBI informants. It was just almost implied that they got their marching orders from the FBI. Therefore, I will infer that they did. It does make me wonder if Ray Epps was among the 24… informants. It does make me suspect that Epps was carrying a radio on him from which he received his instructions. Likely, a quarter mile away, an FBI agent was speaking the orders into a transmitter. Who knows, maybe it was Wray himself. If not, maybe by relay.

It does maybe make me suspect that Trump had proof and he told Wray about it. Well, I do suppose a bluff was enough. It sure would explain why he decided to get out of Dodge, er, D.C. for quickly. I don’t think he would mind being fired. On the other hand, being charged with inciting a riot might be a little too much. Oh. And did I mention a few hundred cases of false arrest.

Understand. I am not saying that that is what happened. However, it does fit so very well. It’s sort of like that missing piece to that 1500 piece jig-saw puzzle we’ve been looking for. You know, once we find it, the whole puzzle fits together so quickly and so well.

Salads… They’re Disappearing

I am sure, it was not that long ago that MacDonald’s used to sell salads. One strange aspect of it, they did not serve it with thousand island dressing. I say it is odd, because, to the best of my knowledge they put it on the Big Mac.

If you should find yourself in one of their stores, I think you will note, the salads are gone. They are no longer on the menu. I wonder who it was that made that decision. Well, truth be told, they weren’t all that good anyway. So, maybe not so many ordered them, especially without the thousand island.

There used to be a place just down the road that had a salad bar, a good one. The name of the place was Danver’s. They also had the best roast beef around. It’s no longer there. I don’t like that. I went there quite a bit. I do miss their salad bar, but I really miss their roast beef.

I can’t remember if Burger King had salads, but they don’t have them now.

Wendy’s still has salads. They have one I particularly like called a taco salad. They throw a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes in a bowl and give you taco chips and a bowl of chili to toss on top of it. For me, it is something of a meal in a bowl. It does taste far better than it sounds.

The hitch is, they don’t like me going into Wendy’s. It seems here, lately, every time I try to go in, the doors are locked. Well, they let me go through their drive through, but as you know, I don’t do drive throughs. Besides, I just can’t imagine me trying to eat one one of those salads in my car. For that matter, I can’t imagine eating one of their burgers in my car. After all, my car is just a little over a year old and the interior is still in good shape. Effectively, those salads are not available to me.

There was a day, before the virus that their dining rooms were full, even before that, they had a salad bar. Sometimes we went there after church and I would get a salad with my burger.

One day, I was fixing my salad and there were three elderly women who had opened the wrapping from the burger and they were all fixing themselves a salad on the wrapper. From the way they dressed, it was easy to tell they had just been to church.

Now, I ask you is that right. Not only were they stealing the salad, but they are putting a bad example before God. It’s what is known in the church as being a bad witness.

I mean, it appeared that when these old women arrived, maybe they need to watch them, or better, close the salad bar until they leave.

It is sort of the way things work in the capitalist system. It relies on people being honest. When people rob the businesses the businesses will go out of business. The more they steal, the faster the business goes under.

On the other hand, that goes the other way too, now doesn’t it. When a business gets a bad reputation, doesn’t that hurt their bottom line too.

CNN beat by the Food Channel

Just reported by Mark Levin. I can’t think of a reason he would have to lie. about it.

The thing is, it is kind of a double meaning. Not only is it sad for CNN but it is also somewhat sad for the Food Channel that they should serve as the comparison. I mean, who wants it said that so-and-so is worse than such-and-such? It sort of makes such-and-such look bad too.

I Ain’t Buying It

The inspector general said there were no FBI agents in the crowd on Jan 6. My guess is, he wasn’t looking very hard.

This is what causes agencies to lose the respect of the public, when they lie and we know they are lying. Moreover, they know that we know. However, they still do it, knowing the Abe Lincoln corollary, you can fool some of the people some of the time. For the dems, that is enough.

Of Course They Don’t Know

They keep asking about the drones and “THEY” keep saying they don’t know.

Of course “THEY” don’t know. Of course it might help if “THEY” take their heads out of the sand. It does work better that way, you know.

My guess is “THEY” are telling the truth. “THEY” have hid THEIR heads in the sand so as they won’t ever know. That way, even under the test of a super lie detector, no lies will ever be detected or even suspected.

United

If I have heard it once, I have heard it a thousand times. The question was directed at Trump, that will you admit that you lost the election to unite the nation.

So. Let me pose this lesson to you. If you are in a group that choses the left fork, do you take the same left turn, when you know it is right to turn right?

If I am in a group of 300 million and they all turn left and I know that left is wrong, I’m going to take the right fork when I know that right is the right fork. I’m not at all going to be concerned about unity.

I have looked at the facts. I have seen that the laws and rules were not followed. Even the dems would have to admit it if confronted right. Their argument was that it was because of the virus. Regardless, they did not follow the rules and laws. for whatever reason. Hence they cannot prove they won the election lawfully.

I am never going to join that unity.

I Don’t Guess I Can Say

Maybe this isn’t a proper reply. I guess I am pretty well traveled. I have been about all over southern California, including much of Camp Pendleton, mostly while afoot and and running.

I have been almost totally from one end of I-40 to the other. I have also been along much of Route 66 before I-40 was half done. Speaking of visiting cities, there must have been at least 30 cities along 66 just in California alone. Seemed every time we got up to speed, we had to slow for another town.

I have flown most of the various aircraft, including, C-117, & C-130. And I have flown into & out of Los Angeles, Dallas, Sydney, Da Nang, Ft. Smith…. You get the idea.

Getting back to the question, my thought is a little different. I’d sort of like to see all the US cities… with an RV… about 30 feet. I’d visit the northern ones in the summer and the southern ones in the winter. It has been a life long dream.

Now, I know. That’s not going to happen. I have a wife and 2 sons instead.

What cities do you want to visit?

Involuntary Walking

As I mentioned, my wife has been in the hospital for the last few weeks. I have been visiting her daily. Naturally, the only parking spaces are a mile from the hospital. Naturally, I have to walk another half a mile inside the hospital to get to her room. Altogether, that is a 3 miles a day.

At 78, you would think I could park in a handicap parking space but unfortunately, old age is not listed as a handicap in Mississippi. Not yet anyway. Maybe after my funeral.

Did Someone Whisper In His Ear???

I’m not totally sure, but I am hearing rummers that the current director of the FBI will be resigning. This does surprise me in that I was thinking the man was going to dig his heels in and hold onto the post as long as he can.

I first heard the news about 10 this evening and I started trying to make sense of it. Then I heard about an 11 page letter that Rep. Grassley sent to Wray. My first thought was that he said something in the letter to make him change his mind. However, I am suspicious it was something else and they, the powers that be, want us to think it was the letter. The letter certainly does give Wray an excuse to back our of his previous stand.

Then, I got to thinking. It is most likely that someone whispered to him, somewhere out of sight. I don’t know. It’s just conjecture but it does make sense.

It might have been a threat, maybe to reveal something from his past. On the other hand, it might have been an offer, maybe to work in some big law firm. I am convinced that deals like that are made all the time, you know.

Then I reconsidered. Maybe it was both.

Ever-which-way, he sure did make that decision in a hurry. Moreover, it appeared they didn’t need to twist his arm nearly as much as I thought they would.
