A Word to the Wise

Stay clear of large bodies of water, especially saltwater. It does something to the brain. I don’t know how, but it has become obvious.

Let’s face it, as you get further from large bodies of water, the percentage of folks with real common sense increases significantly. For real, you don’t find many in Montana who get confused over gender. Most folks in Tennessee know that money doesn’t just fall from the sky.

Well. Let me quality that. Those next to the Mississippi or Tennessee river do seem to have problems getting their brains in gear. They seem to like to let it simply coast along. It is as if thinking causes them pain.

If we could somehow keep people within 20 miles close to large bodies of water, the nation’s problems would simply disappear.

However, not only do they seem to have the national reins, they are trying, successfully, I might add, to keep those who can think, those who will think, out of the voting booths.

Is there anyone who can prove me wrong?

In light of the above, I have an excellent idea. Let’s move the capital to a large dry desert. We just might be amazed at how quickly we’ll be able to deal with problems such as the national debt.
