It would appear Kamala really made a mistake in the choice of her running mate. Then I got to thinking about it. It might not have been a choice. It just might be she couldn’t find anyone else who would be willing to be associated with her. I mean, I think I wouldn’t want to hang around with any woman who has a voice like that; certainly not the cackle.

Basement Campaigning
I can’t blame them. They found out it works with Old Joe. Why not stay with something that works. I guess this is especially true with Kamala. I heard her oration about modern computing and how we don’t store our personal papers in cabinets and drawers. We store things on our laptops and the cloud, which is not stored in a physical place but in the clouds above us.
Not even close. With her lack of knowledge as this, the dems would be better off keeping her in a large closet and have her meals sent in to her. Every now and then, they can have her read something that has been group tested and then release it, with all the cackling striped out.
Just for the record, the “cloud” is a physical place, or more accurately multiple places. That way, if it lost in one place, they can provide you with a copy from the other places. It is definitely not above us someplace.
As an aside, I don’t use the cloud. If I lose my internet, I would lose my backup copies. Instead, I keep several copies of my important documents in many places. If my life depended on the data, I would place copies in multiple places miles apart. That way, should I lose the internet, I still have my documents. My two sons, each, have copies of all my books and they both live a long ways from me.
To be sure, the cloud does have advantages, none of which benefit me one bit. However, when I bought this computer, I spent a good two hours disabling the cloud so that I could store my photos, music and documents without the use of the cloud. They at MS seemed to want to make the decision for me. It is the nature of MS to try to run my computer for me. I guess that’s okay if I am like everyone else, but I’m not. I do not want to be that dependent on the Internet and I don’t want MS making decisions for me as to where I store my data. If someone upsets me, I want to be able to just unplug it and go on.
Officially Ignorant, Maybe Worse
Kamala says she will get rid of the filibuster. Sorry. She lost her chance to do anything about that. The president has no control over it. It is a rule set up by the senators and no one else.
Kamala can spend her entire life jumping up and down and throwing a temper tantrum. Only a vote of Senate can change it. Because she was a senator, if nothing else, she should know that.
Guess what, I learned it in the 8th grade. Why didn’t she?
Moreover, the real purpose of the filibuster is to protect the little guy. It keeps the majority from ruling over the minority. Without the filibuster, those with the money and power can rule over the little guy.
It can be a very frustrating thing, but it is a good thing, which the dems likely have used more than the Republicans. It can be used to protect. On the other hand it can be and has been used in abuse.
Defying Logic
It would appear the leadership of the dems are defiantly digging in their feet refusing to admit that God, Who made the world exists. On the other hand, they do seem to have so much fear of Him that it causes their knees to shake.
President Trump gives proper credit to God for saving his life, and instantly, from the top to the bottom of the party seems to quake in fear as they defiantly say, “No. No. It was not God. You are nuts. Don’t you know there is no God. It is coincidence, you know. It can’t be God. For God does not exist.”
It is with terror in their heart they speak. For they know, if President Trump is right, then they are wrong and they stand in judgment of the one who wrote the Ten Commandments and they do not like that. They don’t want that. So, even though God does exist and, when push comes to shove, they know they are wrong. They just are dreadfully afraid of it.
It does defy logic. A person need not fear a person they know does not exist. And so much, they do fear God. More… they fear his judgement. You see, God in a moment can take away the one thing they want most, power. One day, when he knows it is the right time, He will.
Reading and Learning
Whenever I hear someone say something I consider worth repeating, I repeat it. Mostly, I try to credit the source but I no longer have a DVR. So, by the time I realize I should repeat it, I no longer know who to credit. I will say this. I heard it on a news article on 10 pm news, local channel 13, the FOX affiliate. The article was concerning teaching to read, a subject that very much concerns me. Near the end of the article, there was a man that said that third grade is kind of a division point. Before the third grade, the students are learning to read. After the third grade, the students more and more are reading to learn.
How accurate I thought. I knew it a long time ago but I just never thought of a way to put it as he did. Nonetheless, it points out how important reading is. Without being able to read, it is as if they have a handicap, an anchor so to speak keeping them from learning. And of course, the longer the problem continues, the more the student falls behind others, or more important, where he or she should be.
This is usually where students who have problems start becoming frustrated. If the problem is not resolved, the student will frequently throw up his hands wondering why he or she should even try. What purpose is there in giving reading assignments to 5th and 6th graders that can’t read at 3rd grade levels?
It is why it is good that Tennessee put such a priority on students learning to read. It is important, for sure to allow the kids to learn. Far more important, it is important that schools, students and parents know; so that the problem can be directly addressed. Is it that the student is just not interested or does he have a problem that he needs help with? Is it just encouragement he needs or does he need to have special instruction.
It is unfortunate, but in some cases, it is the teacher. That certainly needs to be addressed quickly because if it isn’t it will effect many more students and quickly.

The Era of Fast Talking
As I watch the news, especially the main media, one thing that really sticks out is that the dems seem to be talking much faster. On all the talk shows, it would seem they are being paid by how fast they talk and not necessarily by their accuracy.
I suppose things have to change but when I was a young fella, I had learned to be suspicious of the fast talker, especially the salesman. Maybe someone figured out that people who can talk at a hundred and ten miles an hour are somehow more believable.
They keep saying that illegal aliens crossing the border now is less than when Old Joe took over. They say it very fast. It takes about a milli-second to get the words out. Their lips and their tongues move very fast. I guess they expect the words will be more believable when spoken so fast that I have difficulty following them. First, they are outright lies; regardless of the speed of the words. In case you wonder how I know, I still have a memory. I saw what the border was like when Trump was in office and I see what it is like now.
Moreover and more important, I know that it was by design. Having a flood of people cross the border was exactly what the dems and Old Joe wanted. Old Joe did not and does not need any new legislation to stop people from crossing the border. All he need do is to enforce the current law. Their fast talking won’t change that. The fact is that Old Joe is doing all he can to stand in the way of enforcing the law.
One, they want to claim that Trump stands in the way of fixing the border. Two, the law they want will only increase the problem all the more. Three, when Trump gets back into office, he will not be able to stop the flood at the border because of the very law they say will stop it.
It is the same thing that both dems and rinos have been doing ever since the Regan days. They keep trying to push this thing they like to call comprehensive immigration laws. That is a code word for allowing more people across the border. That is a way of tying the hands of the executive branch to keep them from enforcing border control. They want to destroy the laws that are now effective.
The border issue is but one of several of their fast talking goals, such as higher taxes and tax breaks for their friends in NY,NY that no longer can take huge benefits from paying huge city and state taxes. If you don’t remember it, look it up. When Trump passed his tax plan that decreased taxes, those in NY,NY with big houses or penthouses started yelling like a cat whose tail was stepped on. They were losing a big tax write off.
To put it another way, we the common folks were helping to pay for those expensive homes. Trump’s tax bill stopped that and those millionaires and billionaires didn’t like that so much. The governments of the city and state of NY,NY didn’t like it because they started losing revenue. People started moving out of NY,NY and that decreased their tax revenues. They had less millionaires paying taxes in New York and the expensive property values started taking nose dives. Remember the big problem that U-Haul had keeping up with the trucks leaving the state.
There are many other thing too. You know that. Only thing is, at some point this is no longer a post but a book.
Just remember, as I was taught in my youth, look out for those fast talkers. They are talking fast for a reason, you know.
Even I Was Amazed
I expected it. I knew it was going to happen. It was as if I could tell the future. I knew once the dems decided on Kamala being the candidate, everyone in the news media world would jump on board.
However, I must admit, even I was amazed at how fast everyone was on board with Kamala. In just about one day, everyone started telling how wonderful Kamala is and suddenly Old Joe wasn’t so good after all.
Can anyone spell c-o-n-s-p-i-r-a-c-y?
World Out of Balance
I am sure you saw all the recent weather reports. It seems tons of sand have been transported to the US by wind. It is strange, in spite of all the weather reports I’ve heard, no one ever pointed out that tons of that sand is settling into the Atlantic Ocean, which will contribute to the seas rising.
Moreover, has anyone considered that redistributing that weight might throw the earth out of balance. I suggest an emergency plan.
First, we need to calculate how much of the sand went into the ocean. Then we need to figure out how much settled onto North America. Then we need to gather that sand all up and take it back to the Sahara before the earth starts shaking from being out of balance. I mean, everyone has seen a washing machine out of balance. Can you imagine the whole earth shaking like that, only worse?
Anyone have any better ideas?
Their Own Truth?
I wish I could cite a previous post I wrote on religion. I couldn’t find it. Anyway, I basically said the advantage of a made up religion you get to make the rules. The disadvantage is that only one will get you into heaven. Jesus said that He is the way. By the way, He also said he is the Truth.
The fact is, you can’t make up your own religion and go to heaven. Also, you cannot make up your own truth. If you try, you will continually run into the real truth. When your life is over, you will be confronted with the absolute truth. You will have no doubt about it. The problem is that it will be too late then and you will know it.
While we are discussing truth, there is one truth no one can deny. One day, we all die. Every one of us. It is unavoidable and it will be forever, in Hell or Heaven. And by the way, your truth will not mean a thing.
The Trip of a Thousand Miles
We’ve all heard and/or read the saying dozens of times, or at least something similar. The trip of a thousand miles starts with the first step. I must admit, it is a pretty wise saying and I have thought about it many times. Let’s hope I need not explain it.
However, that old fella that originally said that should have added 4 words, “in the right direction.” If we go east when we should have gone west, we only increased the distance by yet another step.
It should be obvious but I’m afraid it’s not. Obama preached hope and change. To be sure, he did change things, but in the wrong direction. Change for change sake is wrong. If you are going to change something, make sure the change is in the right direction. In the previous example, the fella going east, just to be going somewhere, made a mistake.
Since Obama, the whole bunch of dems are continuing in the same direction, which, to be sure is the wrong direction.
For sure, the next time we hear someone preaching hope and change, it would be a very good idea if we just ignore him. He has destroyed the hope of thousands of Americans and destroyed the lives of millions of non-Americans.
Let’s put it this way, under his leadership, we took a giant step in the wrong direction.
