Color Me Spoiled

I was brought up in sunny California. It is an accurate description. The Christmas that I got my bicycle, my friends and I spent the day after riding all over the neighborhood.

The sun was busy doing it’s thing; there was hardly a cloud in the sky and the only reason we were sweating was because of our riding.

I guess I would have to say that that southern California weather is my favorite. Obviously, I was not alone in my opinion. During the time I spent in the area, property values skyrocketed.

It does somewhat remind me of one of my favorite Yogisms, “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.” He was talking about one of his favorite restaurants. I’m referring to my favorite place on earth. Considering the weather, it’s hard to imagine people leaving, but they are, for a number of reasons, not the least of which it’s too overcrowded.

Too be sure, there were rainy days. Occasionally, it did get uncomfortably warm, but they were the exception. Most anywhere else they seem to be the rule.

So, alas, I spend the remainder of my life in a place with hot humid summers and cold windy winters because I chose a place not so crowded over a place with the ideal weather.

Here’s the way I figure it. If the prosecutor is guilty, then so is the DA. Looks to me the DA escaped one a big one. Well, maybe not. I guess it depends on if she can convince a jury that Trump is guilty. If not, she might start looking for another line of work.

Defending Democracy

The concept, of course, of democracy is one citizen, one vote. If some get more than one vote, or if some don’t get the opportunity to vote, it is no longer a democracy.

For this reason, we should guard our vote process carefully. We should go way out of the way to make laws that guard the process. Moreover, these laws should be very carefully enforced.

If this is not done, democracy will cease, which is just what the dems want. First the democracy fails and then The Constitution. Then we have a country like Haiti, just what the dems want. Then they can take it over and make it into what they want, not a democracy.

Hitler?

At the same time that the dems call Trump Hitler, they go about helping the HAMAS to achieve one of Hitler’s primary goals, the illumination of the Jews.

This is particularly bad of Schumer who is Jewish. I guess that makes him a hater of himself.

Is this odd. No! Of course not. By helping to illuminate the Jews, Schumer hopes to achieve great power. To the dems, power is all. Power is everything. Nothing else matters, you know as it was for Hitler.

Quote Worthy of Repeating, a Lot

Listening to Glenn Beck this morning as he properly ranted about the ruling on DA Willis. The quote worth repeating, “God wasn’t surprised but I was.”

At the very least the woman should have been pulled off the case even before the affair. Then, now the whole thing is to be ignored by the law & by the bar association. Is this what that judge really wants to call justice?

Well, we all know one day they, the bunch of them will see justice. Wait a minute. Not so. They will see their justice. It just is, at this point few actually know it. Even fewer care.

Fauci Better Hide

I swear, if I find him I will be able to plead insanity. Ever since I took the shot, I have been getting blood clots, each worse than the previous. Right now, I am ready to climb the walls because of the forth one. And it really hurts. Not only that I feel sick from pain.

Over a quarter of the Mississippi Republicans voted against Wicker. Considering that he is the incumbent, Considering the money he put into his campaign, I’d say he did pretty poorly.

The problem is, we must wait another 6 years to do anything. My guess is, we can thank the crossover dems and rinos for what we will again have to put up with.

At least we do have one thing to hope for. Age is the ultimate term limiter. I suspect he will not run after this term.

Then again, I am old enough that I won’t likely be around to see it.

Good Question

While it is true I have considered the question, I never put any deep thought into it. The question prodded and searched into some very old memories.

In the 8th grade, I had a teacher of English and US history. She really helped me understand the structure of our language inside and out. This I might add, in spite of my efforts not to.

Her name was Mrs. Roper. She didn’t have to work. Her husband was wealthy. However, she was very determined that I learned something, like it or not.

Well, I am 76 now, definition of old. It has been a long time ago. My memory isn’t like it used to be. Yet, today, I seem to know more about The Constitution, the Revolutionary War and the Civil War than half those graduating from college.

Finally, she was the first person to warn me about communist in the our schools. At the time, I wondered if she was being an alarmist.

Since that day, I can see she hadn’t told the half of it. It wasn’t but one generation later, the colleges were overwhelmed by socialists. Those graduating those colleges were soon the teachers in our schools, or should I say, mind warpers.

She really had it nailed. Today, if you want teachers like Mrs. Roper, you’ll likely need to look in private schools. I suspect there aren’t many there.

The prompt has made me wish I would have gone back to the school and thanked her for her stubbornness. I doubt she is still around. I think very few like her are.
