I Suggest a New Law

This is an unusual suggestion. Typically, I would recommend against having too many laws. However, in this case, I believe this could be a beneficial law that is worth considering.

To ensure the law remains effective, it is important to limit the involvement of lawyers. The length should be kept to no more than four paragraphs, as any longer would likely make the text overly complex. If lawyers are allowed to contribute, the law could become excessively lengthy and difficult to understand, even for legal professionals.

It would say something like this:

All authorities issuing death certificates shall send a copy to the Social Security Administration on paper.

To prevent the inadvertent issuance of false documents, the Social Security Administration should send a registered letter to the individual reported as deceased, requesting verification of their status. If the person is alive but unable to respond directly, an appropriate representative should be able to do so on their behalf.

Intentionally creating false or misleading documents is considered fraudulent and may result in legal consequences.

If the recipient does not respond to the letter within ninety days, they will be presumed deceased and removed from the active register. No further payments will be made to that individual, except for any applicable survivor benefits.

An appropriate consequence should be included. The advantage of the law is that it would prevent sending payments to deceased individuals, and it would be easily understood by all.

The process of distributing payments to individuals located outside the United States may require a more nuanced approach. It would be prudent to consult legal experts who can navigate the complexities of international law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

The advantages of this approach are straightforward:

1) It encourages ethical behavior and accountability.

2) It helps preserve the Social Security system for future generations.

3) It protects the system from those who would seek to exploit it for personal gain, ensuring its sustainability for younger individuals.

Two Reasons, Same Decision

It appears that the President has decided to implement tariffs on imported steel and aluminum in order to protect the domestic industry and its workers. While the reasoning behind this decision is not entirely clear, the aim seems to be to support American jobs and businesses in these sectors.

Our strategic position is a matter of national security. In the event of war, ensuring access to critical resources like steel and aluminum is crucial for our ability to manufacture the tanks, planes, and other military equipment needed to prevail. Our past success in defeating Germany was largely due to our capacity for mass production of these vital assets. Maintaining this industrial capability is essential for safeguarding our nation’s defense.

Nonetheless, let’s put both these reasons aside for a moment. Instead, let’s examine the concept of a monopoly. The typical approach to establishing a monopoly is by aggressively lowering prices to drive all competitors out of the market.

If China had any desire to do such a thing to the US, it would never happen as long as the competition was industry to industry; steel factory against steel factory. However, when the Chinese government helps to finance Chinese steel factories, it makes it impossible for the American factories to compete.

Then, when the American plants cease to operate and the US no longer has skilled steel workers, China can charge whatever it wants. Moreover, if China decides to wage war against us, we will be completely at their mercy. The Chinese government is not known for its mercy.

Maintaining a strong steel and aluminum industry is not an option. It is absolutely essential; that is, unless we do not mind learning Chinese.

As for me, I prefer American English.

A Distortion of the Facts

It would seem, in order to make their point, they dims decided to distort the story. They weren’t the first and they won’t be the last. The dems and Satan are well aware that deceit is far more effective than a lie. It is also a reason I encourage people to read the Bible for themselves instead of relying on others. It is my personal opinion that the Bible is one of the most distorted books.

Consider the saying, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” While it sounds nice, I haven’t a clue who first said it. It’s not in the Bible. Then too, their are those who will say they believe in doing as the good book says; this while ignorant of what the good book says.

Then, there are those who use the word “migrant” to describe the journey of Mary and Joseph. First, the word “migrate” or any of its forms is not in the story. Please read it for yourself in the second chapter of Luke. It is better for you to read the story directly in your copy of the Bible.

They like to use the idea of Mary and Joseph being migraters for justification of an open border.

They were not migrants, nor did they cross any national borders. Their actions were totally legal. Moreover, the travel was prompted by the most powerful human on Earth at the time. The Caesar ordered Joseph to Bethlehem, in effect. Following the orders of the Caesar is not my definition of migration. I would hope it’s not yours. Otherwise, every time I go to Memphis, I would be a migrant. While technically that might be true, I would not consider it the most accurate term.

Finally, I would not use the term migration for those illegally crossing the border. Some might be criminals. Some might be smugglers. At the least they are illegal aliens.

I realize that, in the eyes of some, it is a small technicality, but it is still an undeniable fact, which the Democrats are trying their best to get us to ignore.

The truth is, they are figuratively people cutting in line, jumping in front of those obeying the laws and the rules. No matter how you look at it, it’s not just illegal, but also morally despicable. The fact that it’s wrong is likely the reason it was made illegal.

By the way, I am not the only one who dislikes the distortion of God’s word. Better that you learn from me than from God.

The Plans

When the dems lost the first election to Trump, they started making plans.

Plan A. Try to reverse the election, something they accused Trump of four years later.

Plan B. Impeach Trump. They used a number of false accusations and false documents as well as a ton of lies. Remember Russia, Russia, Russia, which is now a proven hoax started by Ms. Clinton and her friends in the FBI and intelligence agencies. This had one huge hole in it. Even if it succeeded, Pence would have done well, though I suspect he would not have done nearly as well with the border.

Plan C. Same as Plan B with a slight variation. This plan really fell apart after the last election. It resulted in a huge black mark against Old Joe, the FBI and all the dems. Everyone now knows now that it was another contrived plot, likely instigated in the planning rooms of the dems. Some of those in the crowd we now know to be FBI resources, likely the real instigators.

Plan D. Initiate one prosecution case after the next. Oh, and by the way, this absolutely included the high priority search of Mrs. Trumps underwear drawer. One by one, all of these cases fell apart as they were never on solid ground to begin with. I am sure the one conviction will be overturned when it reaches the Supreme Court… Or perhaps before. Of all the cases, it had the least real foundation.

Plan E. Well, I think they are still working on this one. Meanwhile, the party is in a shambles as well as their publicly department, also known as the main media. Meanwhile, the world has suffered a major pandemic originated by Fauci and enhanced by the dems and social media. Old Joe engineered a disaster while retreating from Afghanistan. As if that is not enough, two new major conflicts as a result of Old Joe’s foreign policies, specifically his funding of Russia and Iran. Oh yes, let’s not forget the embolding of China. After all that…. Well, not many will be able to come up with something that’s workable. However, I have confidence in them. Someone will come along and suggest just the right deceit, an outlandish enough lie with just the right idealism and half the voters in the country will fall for it. Of course there will be an element of truth in it, just enough to sell it. After all, it is the way Satan has worked since the Garden of Eden.

Not a Fan of War

You notice how quickly the shooting in the Middle East stopped after Trump took his second oath. Do you suppose the one thing had something to do with the other? Me thinks it does. I also think it has something to do with Trump’s dislike for war. It does give me the suspicion that the Democrats love war. More accurately, they like the money they make during wars. I am sure Old Joe and his friends were able to pocket a million or two from each of the recent conflicts.

I noticed the other day that Trump sent a couple of bunker buster bombs to Israel. Oddly, it was a public story. No effort was made to conceal it. I even have a suspicion or two that he wanted the whole world to know about it. When I heard about it, I immediately realized the genius of it. It was his way of making it known to Iran that it might be a good time to cease their efforts on building a bomb. You see, he does not need to convince Iran that he is willing to use the bombs. He has sent them the signal the decision is made. In effect, when he gave the bombs to Israel, he has already given them permission to use them…and he has no need to tell them where.

By using the above method, he may have prevented a nuclear confrontation. As I said, I suspect Trump does not like war either. Moreover, he has no need for a war to make money. He already has more than Old Joe could hope for. In addition, he did not use subterfuge and dishonesty to get it. He got it the old-fashioned way. He earned it.

On the other hand, Old Joe always received his paycheck from the government. Not that there is anything wrong with working for Uncle Sam, as long as it’s honest. When it causes death and war, it’s much worse.

I’m not exactly a peacenik, but Old Joe and his crew don’t exactly strike me as the diplomatic types either. Looks like they’ve got a bit of a warmonger streak in them, huh? At least they’re keeping the military-industrial complex well-fed, I guess.

Obvious

I think think this is another situation that calls for that phrase of wisdom, “Casual to the most obvious observer.” Let me explain, please. However, I need to get a little graphic with an illustration for which I hope you will understand and pardon me.

Let us say that a man, a Palestinian has a baseball bat with which he is beating another man, a Jew. While the man is beating the other man, he is using all kinds of Jewish ugly words about him being a Jew.

Now while this is going on, 10 people have been watching from the beginning. The police come along and break up the fight, but now before many of the press comes along and starts writing the story.

The policemen take both the men to the station and start asking questions.

Okay. The press immediately start writing stories about how the Jew started it. The onlookers all say they saw nothing and walk away. The Palestinian claims they Jew has no right to live and the Jew is still trying to figure out why he was attacked.

Immediately, law enforcement checks to see if he acted alone or if it was a hate crime. Did anyone tell the Palestinian to attack the jew or whether he just did it on his own.

They get the Palestinian’s phone and go through his house to see if the man belongs to some group. Then too, when and where was he turned into a radical.

In the old days, before all the political correctness, it would have been different. It would not have taken a week to decide what happened and what to do. First the one with the bat would go to jail for a while. He is guilty of assault, regardless of anything else.

As to whether he was acting alone, that is obvious. Of course he isn’t. Someone told him what to think about what to think about Jews and someone encouraged him to attack that Jew. He only acted alone in that he was the only one with the bat. That organization that radicalized that Palestinian was behind it. If anyone else was trying anything similar, guess what, the organization is behind that assault either.

For crying out loud, if I were the investigator, it would not take me no 2 weeks to figure it out.

The two recent terrorists, guess what? They were terrorists. Their effort was clearly to terrorize. You don’t have to be a genius to realize they succeeded. Moreover, from now on, we, all over the country will live our lives just a little different to avoid people like this. If you don’t believe me, just try getting on a plane nowadays. Because of the terrorists, we now have to arrive two hours before our flight is ready to leave. Our lives have been forever changed.

It is casual to the most obvious observer that it would be better to keep the terrorists out of the country, instead of inviting them in as Old Joe has.

There are those who would argue with me that these were American born citizens. However, who taught them to hate the US and Americans? Somewhere, somehow, these men were radicalized, likely by a terror organization. That, is what they have in common and it cannot be denied.

Moreover, my guess is that the two of them received there instructions a day or two before they did it. More than likely, we will never know who they were. The terrorists aren’t talking.

I Remember Well

They say don’t speak badly of the dead. Well, let’s see. The Dems speak badly of Jefferson, Washington, Gen. Lee, and a dozen others. They have destroyed statues that were made in their memory. If they can speak badly of those men, why can’t I speak badly of some, why can’t I?

Since Jimmy Carter died, I have heard over and over the good the man did, though even they admit they have to search high and low. Well, it did remind me of all what I remember. First, I was in the Marines when he became president. Most of us Marines had a saying. The marine emblem had been changed to just a globe and anchor. Carter was messing things up so much even the eagle was getting out. And, by the way, a lot of marines decided to get out because of the new Commander in Chief. I spoke to many of them. I can’t say specifically of any one thing but rather the whole atmosphere was changing when we got a Naval Chief of Operations with a name of Admiral Elmo Zumwalt. (and his actions matched his name. a real flower child of the age grown up)

Second, because of Carter’s weakness, Iran was turned over to a terrorist. We are still paying for that one. Remember the current efforts of Iran to build atom bombs. Remember, when we left Iraq, Iran took over and killed millions. (Obama had his part in that one.) Remember, when the new Iran regime took over, they also took over our embassy and took the staff hostage. Remember, after a great deal of planning and practicing, he arranged a hostage rescue attempt that was an embarrassment to him and the armed services of the US. Maybe he should have just arranged for the Israelis to do it and pay them.

Better yet, he could have just threatened to turn Israel loose on them. We would have had the hostages back in about 3 or 4 days.

Remember when he turned over the canal to Panama. Now that was dumb. When he started to do that, I remember thinking about it. That in itself was enough to activate the 26th amendment. It was crazy nuts. We spent a lot of money putting that canal in. We spent a lot of sweat putting that canal in there. We lost a lot of lives putting that canal in. And then President Carter hands it over and says, “Here you go. Here’s you a nice big present and it isn’t even Christmas.” And guess what? Now China controls it. Then to, it shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Dems care little or nothing about it.

Many speak of all he has done since his presidency. Okay. He built a lot of houses. That is nice. On the other hand, he has been very active in keeping abortion legal, frequent and at any time until birth. He claimed to be a Christian. I don’t know. God tells us not to be judgmental. If he was saved, my guess is that his ears will be burning for a while, considering the encouragement of the killing of the unborn. (Yep, if he is saved, he will still go to heaven, but he will have a lot of explaining to do.)

Well, truthfully, I will have some explaining to do too. But, at least it won’t involve the killing of millions of babies. The Dems like to point out all the Jews Hitler killed. And then they care not that the Dems have killed millions of babies.

If we want to put that on a set of scales, put the babies on one side, the houses on the other…. Do the houses really offset the lives of the babies.

However; as bad as he was, the Dems right now are far worse. I guess we can say that much for him, anyway.

Who Cares?

If I may, I would like to subtitle this Ignorance and Apathy.

Eons ago, a little exaggerated, I asked a programmer if he could teach me a little bit about Algol, a high level, structured programing language. He became thoughtful. He said that it would be difficult to do that. He said that in order to learn one part of the language, I would have to learn another part first. In order to understand that part, I would have to learn the other part first. It seems, in order to learn it, I would have to learn it all at once.

Since that day, I have been trained and I am very proficient at it. As I look back over what the programmer said, he was right. If I were to teach the language, I would have to teach it kind of all at once. I sort of guess that is why not too many people use Algol for programming. On the other hand, it is a very powerful language. I have heard that some people can almost write the whole body of the program in one line. Well, I must admit I am not that good but I can see how others could.

So. Here I am, I’ve written two big paragraphs and neither is about my subject matter. The reason is this. The subject is somewhat like Algol. I am having difficulty knowing where to start. There are 3 different places I need to start first. In order for me to start at point 1, I need to say some things about 2 and 3. In order to start at point 3, I need to say some things about 1 and 2. The word ‘conundrum’ does come to mind.

Let’s start with what you know, the little story where the old professor tells one of his students, “The problem with this world is that the youth is ignorant and apathetic.”

The young student shrugs and replies, “I don’t know and I don’t care.”

Okay. Ha, ha. Funny. I suspect you’ve heard it before. I’ve heard it a few times too. I do hope you liked it if it was the first time you heard it.

As with most of us conservatives, I have been trying to categorize democrats. I don’t know. It would seem that most fall into one of three categories. 1] The ignorant. 2] The Apathetic. 3] Both.

There are those that believed Old Joe was not feeble. There are those who didn’t care. Then there were those that didn’t know and didn’t care.

I suppose my categorizations might not be totally right. There might be those who might say, “Who cares?” There are those who do take that attitude, you know.

You look at the border. Some see the the rush of aliens across and don’t care. Some don’t believe there is a danger from the aliens. Some are completely oblivious to all the danger it causes.

This is of course, in spite of all the rapes and human trafficking that is going on. This in spite of the abuse of children that is happening. They turn their heads and pretend they know not of it.

When Old Joe gave the order begin the retreat in Afghanistan, some didn’t care about the deaths that resulted and the deserting of American citizens and friends left behind to fend for themselves.

We know that our women’s rights group care about women, but in this case, they pulled their heads in like the proverbial turtle and kept their noisy yaps zipped. This of course resulted in the torture and death of women that we liberated, befriended and educated. You can make up your mind. Were they unaware or were they apathetic. Or, on the other hand, could it be because the leadership of the dems told them to hold their complaints.

The dems complain, very loudly I might say, that Trump is apathetic to the poor aliens that are just seeking a better life. In truth, they were the ones apathetic to those that were killed or raped on the way to the US. Was it that they were ignorant to the criminal elements making their fortunes off of the pain and suffering of the aliens.

Could it be that the dems are completely ignorant to the death from the drugs made by the Chinese and distributed by the cartels. or is that they just don’t care.

When Obama pulled our forces out of Iraq, over a million were killed. Most if those tortured and killed called themselves Christian. Then when the dems were told, they said, “I don’t care!” Well, I guess some said, “I don’t believe it,” even though it was in the news for days. Now, that is apathy.

Before they start complaining about Trump being apathetic, I think it is about time to take a good look at the deaths and suffering in their own history. It’s time they look around and see what they are doing. It is time for them to stop being drastically apathetic.

It is time for them to stop saying, “I don’t care.”

Unseemly?

I saw the interview of Trump by Kristen Welker this morning on CBS. I noticed she liked to answer the question many times before asking it. To me that seems unseemly, or improper, if you will. To keep the post reasonably short, I will give one example, though I could give at least a dozen.

She could have just asked, “Are you going to insist that you really won the 2020 election?” Instead, she said something to the effect, Everyone knows you lost the 2020 election, so are you going to admit that you lost the 2020 election to help unite the country?

Though it was a horribly biased and badly biased question, Trump came up with an excellent reply. The country is divided now and who’s the president now. I think Welker realized Trump got the better of her there, but I must admit, she went right back to her question, though she must have realized that Trump got the better of her on that question. It reminds me of the adage that a lawyer should never ask the witness the question if he knows not the answer.

Nonetheless, she couldn’t leave it alone when she asked, if the dems won the 2020 election by cheating, why didn’t they win the 2024 election by cheating?

Trump casually replied, “Because I won by too much.”

To some degree, I believe that is true. However, let me add 2 more things to the mix. Even with over a billion dollars, Kamala was unable to purchase the election, regardless of the method. Might I also add that the media, like Welker, like TV and radio stations provided more campaigning in kind in favor of Kamala; this without conscience. Trump still won the electoral college and the popular vote.

As a parting note, that must have really irked the dems. No one of them were able to use that saying they have used in the last 3 elections the Republicans won. Back then, you could hardly turn on a TV without hearing that complaint that they should do away with the unfair electoral college. Strange you don’t much hear a word about Trump winning both ways. Do I detect a little embarrassment? Just maybe there was a mass embarrassment there, I mean, as I said, they don’t like to mention it. If they do like to talk about it, why haven’t I heard one liberal member of the media say a thing about it.

I think the instructions have been distributed, “Do not mention the electoral college. Don’t even hint about the popular vote.”

2014 to 2024 Inclusive

I wish everyone would note that Old Joe pardoned his son, Hunter, for all federal, possibly all crimes from the beginning of 2014 through 2024. That includes a few future weeks yet.

I included the term all crimes because some believe that it includes state crimes as well as federal. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t know how many crimes Hunter was guilty of, let alone what he might be guilty of in the future. Truth is, I don’t know as Old Joe does.

One thing I do know. Joe hasn’t a clue what crimes Hunter is going to commit between now and the end of year. Perhaps he plans on robbing a bank or two. Near as I can tell, he is already pardoned for any such thing. Wonder if he thought of that. Fact is, once a pardon is granted, there is no “oops” function. If Hunter does something or somethings between now and the end of the year, Old Joe cannot take back the pardon or any part of it. I would say that might be embarrassing for Old Joe, but I don’t think it is possible to embarrassing the man.

To be sure, some have suspicions as to whether the pardon is legal. can a person be pardoned for future crimes? For that matter, can a pardon be issued for such a broad band of crimes, even those unknown?

Finally, and most important, the pardon has effectively put a stop to all investigations, including the ones concerning Old Joe. Effectively, Old Joe has pardoned himself without actually issuing the pardon.

How-some-ever, it does make me wonder if they can still investigate Hunter. Just because he can’t be prosecuted does not mean he can’t be required be a witness as any citizen in the prosecution of others. Moreover, he now cannot claim the fifth and he can still be prosecuted for false testimony after Jan 1, 2025. Hunter just might want to keep that lawyer handy.
