As Joe and his cohorts keep saying that the border is closed, it reminded me of that great old Platters’ song The Great Pretender.

Then, again, that reminds me of another song, S’Wondful. In this day and time of such problems and distress, it’s so wonderful to have such a pretender in the Oval Office?

On the other hand, maybe we can take a cue ftom the Rogers and Hammerstein song and Whistle a Happy Tune. I do have two problems with that. I don’t whistle so well and I just can’t think of a tune that will work.

Then too, that would make me a pretender too if I just whistle and act as if Joe is doing a really great job.
