De Blasio said that when when someone attacks a policeman, they attack all of us.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  A policeman is a representative of the law.  When someone attacks a policeman it is open rebellion of the law and a blatant lack of respect of it.  Anyone that attacks an officer of the law will, without hesitation attack and kill anyone.  Moreover, they will disobey any law to get what they want.

If there is no law enforcement, then, effectively, there is no law.  If the criminal will not respect the law, then he should at least fear it.  By the way, this includes our border laws.
