Those that have read my posts know mostly how I feel about illegal immigration. For those few that don’t, let me summarise. All people here illegally should be deported as soon as possible, if not sooner.

While I do believe the above, I am willing to that we should revise their stay to legal if:

1. Renounce their former citizenship and agree to proclaim their allegiance to the US and only the US.
2. Agree to follow American laws to the best of their abilities.
3. That they are able to earn their own livelihood or someone will provide full support for them.
4. That they know how to speak, read and write English or will know how at a third grade level in six months; and at a sixth grade level within a year.
5. If it is for the convenience of the USA for one of the following: as a witness, particularly one involving a serious felony such as murder, rape or grand theft, by going into and completing at least 4 years of service, especially in a combat zone, determined by an appropriate agent that it is convenient for us to keep the alien. Example, the rocket scientists we brought from Germany at the end of WW II.

The above would still be subject to evaluation and determination by appropriate US agents. Moreover, if it is determined that the exception was granted because of fraud, the person would still be subject to immediate deportation. Also, if at any time it is determined that any of the above was not followed, they would be deported without notice.
