Oddly, something I noticed among the Caesars of Rome. Their names seem to mostly end in the letters us. I have no idea why. Maybe it’s something to do with language. Then again, maybe, in day, everyone’s name ended in us. Maybe someone knows and can tell me. I only went through high school and no one there told me. Maybe no one there knew either.

At any rate, thought occurred to me that there are those today who would like to add a um to his or her last name. So tell me, just how would Bidenus go over. Maybe some would like the name Pelosius. Then there are some of those up and commers. What’s the name of that California governor. Oh yes. Had to look him up. The memory doesn’t work like it used to.

Regardless, Newsom won’t work. Newsomus just doesn’t work. Wait a minute. He can just modify his name. Just change the om to us. No. That doesn’t work either. No hope for Newsom without a complete name change. Just as well. He doesn’t know how to run a state. Can’t expect him to know how to run a nation the size of the US.

The question has often been asked, “What’s in a name?” I don’t know. I guess those guys back in Rome thought they had to have the us. Maybe they knew something we don’t. Anyone can be a leader. But to be a despot, your name must end in us. Or at least back then.
