One of the nice things about getting cable was getting Fox news. It was the only place I knew that I could get the news from my perspective. I read the other day that Fox is losing favor with conservatives. Other than a few programs such as Hannity and a few other shows, the network is becoming more liberal by the week.
Of course there are other networks and I have started watching them more frequently. That character that has that Sunday morning show would be quite at home on any of the regular networks. He might even be welcomed there. His two predecessors were far better, especially Tony Snow.
The way I figure it, Fox is making a big mistake. If they abandon their viewers, the viewers will abandon Fox. Also, they aren’t likely to pick up too many liberal viewers. The conservative hosts will likely find another home, then Fox News will go the way of the dinosaurs.
Then again, that might not be so true. There is evidence that the dinosaurs lived. Within a decade or two, there might not be any evidence that there was ever a Fox News.
It is a shame but I guess it is so true, without good skipper, the ship will falter, regardless of the crew. As the leadership has changed, so has Fox News.
