Anonymous Source

Any time someone quotes an anonymous source, it should not be believed. The tragedy is when someone bases a source on someone quoting an anonymous source. It is put forward as truth but it has no more validity than the original source.

So. Trump appoints Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense and immediately we hear quotes on anonymous sources. Soon after we hear quotes on the quotes and then more quotes based on those quotes. For all we know, they are all based on lies.

The fact is, we know not who originally said it or for that matter, if the quote was totally made up in the first place. I can’t say it’s all a lie. However, truth is, they can’t say it’s the truth.

It is the problem with trying a person in the court of public opinion. Nothing has any solid evidence and no one is giving evidence under oath. No one is obligated to tell the truth and no one will suffer a penalty should it all be proved a lie. No one will own up to the responsibility.

If you think it can’t happen, they said over and over that they had proof that Trump colluded with Russia for three years. in fact that impeached him over it. Not a word of it was ever proven. Not only was it eventually proved a lie, but no one ever paid for the lie. Moreover, there are people who still believe the lie, even now that it has been fully exposed.

The dems and the press tells lies on purpose without remorse or fear of retribution. Then the press quotes the lies, quoting the original lie as truth. Then the dem politicians quote the lies spread by the press. Then when the smoke clears, a man’s reputation is smeared forever and the original liar walks away unharmed.

It’s not right. For that reason, I suggest you don’t believe anonymous sources, no matter how much you want to. If you do believe the lies, then you are taking part in the lie.

Stopping the Wars

President Trump has a way of stopping the wars almost instantly. By this I mean all wars in the Middle east and the one between Russia and Ukraine.

It can be stopped in days, maybe hours with one question, “How would you like 30, maybe 25 dollar a barrel oil?”

Trump and the US oil industry can do that, you know. It would instantly make it impractical to drill for oil in the Mid-east, Iran, and especially Russia. They can’t make a profit on the oil unless it is at least 60 or 70 dollars a barrel. We can. At 20 dollars a barrel, Russia would soon go broke. Iran would shut down their oil fields. Even Saudi Arabia would have trouble making money at that price. On the other hand, we have the equipment and the knowhow to make a good profit at 20 dollars a barrel.

If the Russia can’t make money from oil, they can’t afford to buy weapons and pay soldiers. Without weapons they can’t wage war.

The price of fuel would drop. The price of airline tickets would drop quickly. Food, including milk, eggs and meat would drop.

And the most important thing, all the wars would quickly cease, at least for a while. It won’t take long for someone else decide to start a war somewhere. It was told to us by Jesus. Let’s face it, Satan loves war and he loves death. Those who love war and death are keeping company with the wrong side.

2014 to 2024 Inclusive

I wish everyone would note that Old Joe pardoned his son, Hunter, for all federal, possibly all crimes from the beginning of 2014 through 2024. That includes a few future weeks yet.

I included the term all crimes because some believe that it includes state crimes as well as federal. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t know how many crimes Hunter was guilty of, let alone what he might be guilty of in the future. Truth is, I don’t know as Old Joe does.

One thing I do know. Joe hasn’t a clue what crimes Hunter is going to commit between now and the end of year. Perhaps he plans on robbing a bank or two. Near as I can tell, he is already pardoned for any such thing. Wonder if he thought of that. Fact is, once a pardon is granted, there is no “oops” function. If Hunter does something or somethings between now and the end of the year, Old Joe cannot take back the pardon or any part of it. I would say that might be embarrassing for Old Joe, but I don’t think it is possible to embarrassing the man.

To be sure, some have suspicions as to whether the pardon is legal. can a person be pardoned for future crimes? For that matter, can a pardon be issued for such a broad band of crimes, even those unknown?

Finally, and most important, the pardon has effectively put a stop to all investigations, including the ones concerning Old Joe. Effectively, Old Joe has pardoned himself without actually issuing the pardon.

How-some-ever, it does make me wonder if they can still investigate Hunter. Just because he can’t be prosecuted does not mean he can’t be required be a witness as any citizen in the prosecution of others. Moreover, he now cannot claim the fifth and he can still be prosecuted for false testimony after Jan 1, 2025. Hunter just might want to keep that lawyer handy.

The Magnet Theory

The magnet theory is simple. If you let illegal aliens stay in this country, more will want to come. Yet many well meaning people want to overlook it for various reasons.

They say, if they behave themselves, if they pay taxes and fines, etc. etc…, then let them stay. This overlooks the magnet theory. If you let them stay in any way shape or form, then more will come.

I have my own theory. If you seal the borders, if you send all illegal aliens home, if you record fingerprints and DNA immediately, and if you pass a law that anyone caught living here illegally, they will never, never, ever be allowed citizenship here. The DNA will help enforce this.

Incidentally, it would also stop them from trying to claim unrelated children as kin. It is a process used to “import” child and slave labor.

If these things are done, instantly, those illegally entering this country would drop off to virtually nothing.

In the end, it is more humane. They would not be risking life, limb and rape to get here. It would stop the slave labor. It would drastically reduce the drug and slave trade.

As long as we permit the magnet to remain, dangers of the cartels will persist, south and north of the border, to aliens and American citizens alike. (perhaps, even more for the Americans)

My Long Term Prediction

One day, it might be years, It might be decades, we are going to start providing vouchers to private schools. It can’t be prevented forever. Good ideas cannot be prevented forever.

When that happens, within a few years, people will truly see the benefits of an education in private schools. Then, those who fought them for all this time will have scrambled eggs on their faces. It will become clear as to the reason they fought vouchers. It was to line their own pockets and to promulgate their own ideas.

Those that benefit will be the kids. Those that will be hurt will be those in favor of making money in the public schools and the education unions.

There will, of course, be one more advantage. Those that want their children in Christian schools will get Christian educations. The more people who are educated in good Christian schools, the better it will be for the community. We might even see the crime curve turn down for a change.

A Nice Hot Cheeseburger

Baptist Desoto Hospital is starting to become a second home for me, with one thing and the other. With all that is going on, it is nice to know I can get some good hot food there.

I ordered a cheeseburger there in the cafeteria and took it over to a table. I picked up the burger to take a bite. Then I let go of it, quickly.

I want you to know, that sandwich was nice and warm all the way to the last bite. I went back and told the guy that made it that if he keeps making those things he’ll learn how one of these days. Yea. He had a big belly laugh over that. He knew I was kidding him. He knew it was really a compliment.

Once he settled, I thanked him for the food. I say this for this reason. Normally, a person does not expect such good food in a hospital cafeteria. Nowadays, after eating there pretty regular for the last couple of weeks, it is what I do expect and I have yet to be disappointed.

That Sigh you Heard.

It is the sigh of relief. Old Joe pardoned Hunter. All you dems that have been doing bad stuff can now rest easy. Hunter is not going to tell on you now.

Well, that’s not totally true. There are others that might spill the beans. Once Old Joe is out of office, he can’t issue any more protective pardons. And, if the Justice department gets just the right proof on just the right person, all that house of cards may yet come falling down, likely very fast.

The Truth About All the Votes Kamala Got

You notice, Kamala never said what she would do for the country except in the broadest sense. What little there was of her campaign was about Trump.

Therefore, we can only assume, the votes she did get, weren’t for her, but against Trump. That means most any democrat could have done as well or better. My guess is, much better.

It’s kind of what happens when you have nothing to offer the voters other than, “I’m not him.”

Albuquerque, NM

Albuquerque, NM has to be one of the best kept secrets as a place to visit in the country. I would have never discovered it but I stayed there one time during one of my many trips back and forth on I-40. I stopped at a motel and looked out at the near distance and saw one of the most beautiful mountains I ever saw.

The sun, as usual was setting in the west and it set the mountain aglow, almost as if on fire. It seemed an impossible picture. If I had a couple million in my back pocket, I would love to buy a home near that mountain. I would love to see the vision of that mountain almost on a daily afternoon.

Unfortunately, between one thing and the other, I was never able to move there and likely never will.

By the way, later, I found out that the mountain, Sandia Peak, has a tram going to the top. So it is, you can enter the tram at about 5000 feet above sea level and get out about 10,000 feet above sea level (not exact numbers but pretty close.)

Indeed, most people don’t think of Albuquerque as being so high but it is. Fewer people think of it being at the base of such a huge mountain, but it is.

It is also somewhat odd. The west side of the mountain is just almost vertical while the east side is something of a gentle slope, where some folks actually ski. That’s right. You can ski in central New Mexico and the land there is magnificent.

Oddly, there are hiking trails on the west side that are marked out. As you can well imagine, some of the trails are more difficult than others. Moreover, if I could have, when I was younger, I would have loved to explore some of them. Of course, the problem was that, whenever I went through Albuquerque, I was always on my way through. I could never take the time to explore the mountain or the city.

Many times, I wished I had spent a week or two there. I regret I didn’t. However, I did take the tram to the top and back twice. Both times I had a sandwich and soda in the restaurant at the top. After, I hiked a little of the trail that goes along the ridge.

As I said, if I, could I would make that trip at least once a week. I would never tire of it one bit.

However, I must admit, if I moved there, I would likely have learn how to spell it. Quite frankly, I don’t know if I could ever manage that.

I Could Have Made a Fortune

I am not a betting man. In fact, if you read my posts regularly, you would know that. However, sometimes I wish I were. I mean, if I had gone to Vegas with one bet, I’d be rich. Well, maybe not rich, but I would have made a bundle of money.

Several times, I have said that Old Joe would pardon his son, Hunter. He said he would not. But I knew he would. If you read my blogs you would know why. Logic tells us that Hunter knows where all the skeletons are hidden. He likely has told one and all that if he goes to jail he will reveal everything. And when he does, then a bunch of dems would be embarrassed. A few would go to prison. It is most casual to the most obvious observer. The democrat party would collapse in on itself overnight. It does make me wonder just what all he knows.

Of course, I have no proof. However, it is clear to me that it wasn’t Joe that decided to pardon Hunter, but Joe’s puppeteers. It was a risk they could not take for a minute.

Not only does it reveal to most of us that Hunter knows too much, but it also proves that no one with a D after his name ever need go to prison, even if they are convicted of a gun crime. It is something of an irony considering the dems are so dead set against private citizens owning guns. If it had been me that was convicted, I’d be in prison already. Also, most of you as well, especially if you have an R after your name. Sort of encourages a person to register as a dem, even if you are a staunch republican.
