A Matter of Priorities

Each professional views their role with unique significance, reflecting the importance of their specific contribution to society. The street painter sees his work as crucial for guiding traffic and maintaining order on roadways. For the bus driver, punctuality represents the core of their professional responsibility, ensuring reliable transportation for countless commuters. Similarly, lawyers perceive their profession as fundamental to societal structure, believing that without legal frameworks and enforcement mechanisms, civilization would descend into chaos. These perspectives highlight how every occupation, regardless of its perceived status, plays a vital role in maintaining the intricate balance of community and social functionality.

In the medical profession, nurses and doctors often engage in a subtle competition to highlight their respective contributions to healthcare. Nurses passionately advocate for the critical role they play in patient care, emphasizing their direct and compassionate interactions with patients. Meanwhile, physicians counter with a comprehensive list of reasons why their medical expertise and decision-making skills are paramount to patient treatment and overall healthcare outcomes. This ongoing dialogue reflects the complex and interconnected nature of healthcare professionals, each bringing unique and essential skills to the medical field.

In the realm of essential professions, few trades are as critical as plumbing and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services. When water lines rupture or sewer systems become obstructed, plumbers emerge as unsung heroes, swiftly resolving potentially catastrophic household emergencies. However, during the scorching summer months, HVAC technicians become absolute lifelines, particularly in the mid-southern region of the United States. The extreme heat is not merely a source of discomfort but a genuine health hazard, with potentially fatal consequences for vulnerable populations. These skilled professionals ensure that residential and commercial spaces remain cool and safe, protecting individuals from the potentially life-threatening risks associated with prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Their work transcends mere comfort, representing a critical public health service that safeguards communities during the most challenging seasonal conditions.

If may add one more little thing. Can you imagine all those lawyers holding court in 100° + rooms… As they did years ago.

Be Nice

Good words to remember; even for me; especially for me.

It’s just so difficult to remember when those dems are so set on doing things that are so set dead set on things that will lead to death; so heart set on heartless things; oh yes, so determined to do things to Godly people that aren’t nice.

Do You Wonder Why?

Some folks may wonder. Others likely don’t care.

However, here it is just in case you are the least curious about why the Democrats and their federal judges are so concerned about President Trump cutting back on federal employees. Many, perhaps most, on the federal payrolls are members of unions, who are also roughly nine out of ten are Democrats. Ignoring all else, the Democrats will be losing a bunch of union members and, by the way, maybe a few Democratic voters too.

If you think they have the law in mind; if you think they have the good of the employees or the agency, forget it. All they have in mind is holding onto the power they feel slipping from their grasp ever since November, last.

Could it Be?

It seems there has been an explosion of conspiracy theories lately.

Do you suppose it is because there has been an explosion of true conspiracies and conspiracists?

Ah, the classic dance of denial—where secrets shimmy just beneath the surface, winking at everyone while pretending to be invisible. They’re like that awkward relative at a family reunion: everyone knows they’re there, but no one wants to make direct eye contact. The powers-that-be perform their elaborate charade of “nothing to see here,” complete with theatrical hand waves and unconvincing poker faces. Meanwhile, the rest of us exchange knowing glances, silently acknowledging the elephant—no, make that the entire circus—in the room.

Conspiracy are my jam, and while I’m certain these shadowy figures exist, I’m more intrigued by their debut performance. My money’s on the JFK era – the ultimate government magic show where evidence vanishes faster than a rabbit in a top hat, courtesy of a vault with more leaks than a gossip column.

Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

In a twisted tale of vanishing clues and untimely demises, evidence plays a game of hide-and-seek while unfortunate souls bow out with a dramatic flair, leaving behind more questions than a cryptic crossword puzzle. Ergo, as the old poet might say, it would seem many of the magic tricks seem to be accompanied by a dead body. This, as opposed to a live one.

(the JFK event was accompanied with at least 4, maybe more)

It Had to Be

It was inevitable. For decades, public TV had to lose public funding. When it is considered how liberal and one-sided it was for many decades, it had to happen. It was just a simple matter of when the proper people became in charge.

Now PBS must survive or fail in the capitalist system as the rest of the stations.

As for me, I believe it is about time. Why should they get a free ride when the rest must swim or drown? If folks decide not to view their constant untruths, to put it kindly, then it will be time for them to fade forever into obscurity.

Moreover, maybe it is time the so-called news broadcasters tell the truth or face it. The fact is, in order to survive in the capitalist system, a person, an organization or a corporation must produce something in demand. That doesn’t include lies and propaganda.

Now This is Strange

High Narrow cloud formation

What can I say? If God wants it to rain in one small spot, I just get the phone out and record it. I am not going to make any attempt to explain it. I suspect the mettioroligists don’t have any explanation either, especially being as the rest of the sky was mostly clear.

100 K Less Cars in Shelby County

That is a bunch. There aren’t but a little over a million in the major metro area. Moreover, not all of the residents have cars.I did have my problems with algebra, but I’m guessing that is about a tenth.

Before I come to too many conclusions there are a few things that can knock things out of kilter, it still sort of looks to be an exodus to me, perhaps over 3 or 4 years.

The people holding public office as well as those supposedly reporting the news seem to look at the undeniable facts and they seemed stunned. But why should they be? They keep voting for Democrats, who keeps making really dumb decisions. Why in the world would they expect anything else?

Speaking of dumb things, the state has been getting Ready for a check of the books for the county Board of Education. I watched that go back and forth for quite a while. For some strange reason, the county didn’t want to open the books.

Then, surprise, surprise, they are now rumors of rumors about a few in in the county just may visit the local incarceration facilities. Now I wonder what would bring that about? It’s no wonder no one waited to open the books.

As I Said, when I left Memphis, I didn’t move nearly fa enough South.

Well, at least every time those north, of my little home,, my property value keeps climbing.

Now, if they would just leave their politics and their deriving skills north as they try to move in…. Down here and down the street.

Coming up Wins

The Supreme Court appears to be rendering favorable decisions for the President, potentially signaling a consistent trend that could neutralize attempts to impede administrative progress through Democrats’ judicial intervention..

Exposing their misconduct will undoubtedly challenge the integrity of those in judicial positions, potentially revealing inappropriate actions hidden behind the facade of legal authority.

However, I guess we are all waiting, figuratively, with bated breath for the one decision the Court seems to be trying to avoid: birthright citizenship. I have two suspicions about this matter. First, they might put it off as long as they can. Second, they will most certainly look for a believable way to avoid the decision through some method of side-stepping. Regardless, I hold out little hope. I suspect they will write that they wanted to decide one way but felt obligated to decide the other.

This will for sure result in a bunch of new anchor babies.

I Say Thank You

It might seem strange to some but I have written on this subject a number of times.

I started it after about the umpteenth time I read in the Bible about Jesus healing the ten lepers. Okay. I admit. Sometimes I am a slow learner. Sometimes, people never learn I might add.

At any rate, only one returned and thanked Jesus who asked where the other nine were. In other words, about 90% are as grateful as we ought to be. Why can’t we take the few seconds to utter a genuine thank you?

Originally I only thanked God as I should have years earlier. Then it occurred to me, I should thank others as well. When those at a restaurant provide for me a meal and does the dishes for me, shouldn’t I thank them? Should I slight them because I am providing payment in return?

They look at me strange when I thank them at Chick-fil-A as I leave, but they always smile and that makes me feel better as it likely makes them feel better too.

It does somewhat turn things around. I mean, they are supposed to thank me, right, for doing business with them? I feel better when I beat them to it.

When I was in my youth, people were fought to say thank you, or sir or ma’am. I think it is all as important. However, most of us don’t act like that.

Regardless, when someone does something for you, make sure you don’t part ways without a good honest, “Thank you.”
