Yes, that’s right. Each month, I receive a Social Security check. Well, that isn’t true. I have never actually seen one. The money is automatically deposited into my account. I know this because it appears on my account statement.

Well, as I was saying before I interrupted myself, my wife and I are both recipients of the periodic payments.

From time to time, I hear the Democrats say that the Republicans are trying to terminate or reduce the size of these payments. It doesn’t disturb me, not one little bit. I know they won’t do it. I know it’s a scare tactic… A scam to gain votes. I know the Democrats know I know it. They also know that a few will believe it, and for them, that will be enough. They know just a few votes is all they need to turn an election. And so, they have no qualms whatsoever about spreading the false claim.

Now I shall explain what concerns me: the inflation intentionally caused by the Democrats does not cut my monthly deposit. With cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs), it actually increases my income. However, the increases in income do not nearly keep up with the increases in outgoings.

Dems increase inflation. Cost of living increases don’t cover increase food costs. Real cost of living is close to twice increase in income.

So, the dems say the Republicans will decrease the purchasing power of those of us on Social Security. The dems have actually done it and, given the chance they will do it again. Truth be told, for the dems, Social Security is nothing more than a tool, that is to say a wedge for gaining power and increasing their collective power structure.

We have the best vantage point to witness one of the most pivotal moments in world history. As Benjamin Franklin once said, we have a representative republic, but it is up to us to preserve it. Now is the time to determine if we can uphold the principles upon which our nation was founded.

The representative republic currently holds the advantage, but those familiar with rats understand their primary survival strategies rely on rapid reproduction and effective concealment.

Even now, as D.O.G.E. is routing them out and sending them scurrying, some have found very effective hiding places. Others are making plans to return the moment any defense has been lowered.

The defenders of the Constitution must remain vigilant and proactive in upholding its principles. Any lapse in their efforts could allow the bureaucracy to gradually reassert itself, undermining the purpose of the Constitution and the protection it provides every legal citizen.

I am afraid that it is a battle that can only be lost. It will never be won. The best we can hope for is to keep the rats at bay to varying degrees.

It really is a stupid afterthought but may a little humorous. If planes were designed with the passengers near the bottom and luggage at the top, maybe everyone could leave the plane in less than ninety seconds without the expense and weight of the slides.

It’s a shame there isn’t a way to make it work.

Yup. They won’t be missed, certainly not by me. Certainly they ought not be missed by those who lost family and friends to the China virus. Certainly those who lost businesses and jobs to the the virus ought not miss them.

Actually, we just might be better off without the entire CDC. They certainly did do far more damage than good. At every fork in the road, they choose the wrong way… As if intentional.

One day, about thirty or so years ago, I was among a group discussing how the pyramids were built. One person made one suggestion, and another made a different suggestion. After a while, I decided to make my highly learned suggestion: “They used liquid rock.”

Clearly, I was being flippant. There is no way I believed that. Recently, however, I heard in a documentary that the Romans used very high-quality concrete and/or cement. Is it really that much of a stretch to believe that the Egyptians could have hauled those huge rocks up there, one bucket at a time?

With the abundant sand and water available, they could potentially create a sturdy structure, provided they have access to the necessary binding agent, such as cement, in the nearby vicinity.

Impossible, you might say. I saw two men on U-Tube dig a hole, select some nearby dirt, mix it with water, and apply it to the sides and bottom of the hole. Once it dried, they filled it with water. Then they swam in it.

The ancient Egyptians were renowned for their exceptional engineering and architectural prowess. The enduring remnants of their cities stand as a testament to their remarkable achievements. Even with our modern advancements in technology and machinery, it would be a challenge to replicate the grandeur and sophistication of their engineering feats.

Is it that improbable that they didn’t figure a way to mix up some kind of liquid rock?

To facilitate the quick and safe evacuation of commercial aircraft in an emergency, they are equipped with emergency slides. These slides are designed to work reliably and efficiently, allowing passengers to exit the aircraft quickly and safely.

While watching what was likely a passenger video of the recent accident, it became apparent that the aircraft’s emergency slides serve no purpose when the aircraft ends up inverted.

The passengers appeared calm and unhurried, suggesting a lack of urgency or panic. They seemed to be taking the situation in stride, as if enjoying a leisurely stroll in the park rather than exiting an upside down airplane. There were no visible signs of distress or alarm among the group.

I have seen the video of the landing several times. It appeared to me that the roll was the result of a collapsed main gear. It seemed to give way right on touchdown. It must have been a harrowing experience, but most so for the pilots. For the first few seconds, as the plane started rolling, it must have seemed the impossible was unfolding before their eyes. Moreover, there was nothing they could do about it.

Why should anyone get suspicious about people 130 years of age drawing Social Security? I mean, they would certainly be old enough.

Thing is, if we look at this seriously, we just might be able to take a big bite out of the national debt. Consider, not only would the expenditures decrease, but we just might be able to get some of the fraudulent recipients to return some of what they received. They just might prefer it to going to jail. (Not to mention we would prefer getting the money back to paying for them to go to prison, not to mention the cost of the trial)

Taking off and landing a plane against the wind is generally considered best practice. This allows for shorter takeoff and landing distances, which can enhance safety. While I am not an engineer, this basic principle of aerodynamics seems logical and sensible.

A more practical solution would be to construct a round, man-made island. This would allow the field to be easily rotated to face the wind, making it a more viable option compared to a large round field on land.

Ironically, my idea is not nearly new. It is as old as the aircraft carrier. When the carrier is about to run operations, the very first order is to turn into the wind.

Is not an AC carrier a small island. It’s just a matter of making it a little larger and anchoring it a little offshore. There would be some obvious problems to resolve, but that’s why they have engineers. I just come up with the ideas. Certainly, you don’t expect me to actually figure out how to do it.
