Christmas season approaches. I know this because someone played, “Grandma Got Run Over by Santa’s Reindeer,” on the music machine at Waffle House tonight.

Actually, I like the song, though it took me a while to warm up to it and the voice. My first impression of the song really did not leave Santa in a very good light. Also, the tune is very catchy. It just keeps bouncing around in my head for hours after I hear it, whether I want it to or not.

Thing is I wonder how many times that song gets played this Christmas before someone working at Waffle House figures a way to disable it.
