Write names on paper or some other permanent record. If you don’t, I promise, you will forget the names and regret it.

When you take pictures make a permanent record of who the subject is.

Right now you are sure you’ll never forget, but you will. Memories fade faster than you think. This is especially true for military friends or even acquaintances.

I have a long list of names I don’t remember and I wish I did. I have photos, some photos of relatives I don’t know who they are of.

I suspect you will ignore me. I also suspect you will wish hadn’t.
