When I first started this blog, a couple of few years ago, my incorrect assumption was that most if not all of those reading my writings would be in the US, maybe Canada.
It seems, as it worked out, most of my readers are from all parts of the globe. I guess that makes me an international blogger. For sure, I am more than pleased and very thankful. It just surprises me.
I don’t know how the language thing works. Either there are more than a few who understand my English, which I must admit, from time to time I intentionally corrupt for effect. For those whose 2nd or 3rd language is English, it might make things difficult and might lose a little in the translation.
From time-to-time I wonder if some are simply from English speaking countries or parents, conceivably just temporarily international.
Then maybe some are studying English in school or college. In such a case, you would be wise not to use my grammar as a guide. I may speak well, but my writing is horrid.
Regardless, I welcome all comments good or bad, as long as there is no profanity. I have found all comments interesting and informative. More than that, it would be good to hear what you have to say, even if not on the subject.
Most importantly, if I am saying something that is wrong or misunderstood, I need to know, especially if I don’t like it.
