Euphemism

Noun

a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing.

I suppose there are other ways the word can be defined, but this looks as it is about as accurate as it gets.  Of course, we are a society that likes euphemisms, some more than others.  You look at the old gangster movies and instead of kill, we hear, terminate him, rub him out, or maybe just arrange a hit on him.

This country, especially the dems love euphemisms.  Instead of kill, they use, terminate a pregnancy, abort(ion), which implies the killing of a child not yet born.

Those that kill those babies are called doctor, physician or abortionist.  Those places where the killings are take place are called clinics, women’s healthcare centers, family planning centers.  The counseling is a simple question, “Do you want this pregnancy terminated?”

The actual act of act of killing or murdering is called a procedure.

It is also interesting that those who specialize in killing babies rarely perform any real medical treatments.  The killing of babies is more than enough to keep them, to use another euphemism, well healed.  They rarely drive cars over two years old and, of course, top of the line.  Their houses or apartments are generally large and well furnished.

However, to make this money, they need to turn out the killings as if on assembly lines.  I don’t know much about it, but I’d guess we are talking no more than 20 minutes per killing.

To date, there are no follow-up appointments to make sure there are no complications.  Then, needless to say, if there are complications, patient or parents are stuck with the medical bills.  Frequently the patient is left with the physical and mental scars that last the rest of their lives.  These scars should have been discussed during the consoling.  Naturally, the killer is simply to busy to be bothered by such things.

There are absolutely no requirements for the place where the killings are made.  As such, complications are frequent.  If serious problems happen during the killing, the mother might die as well as the baby.  Hospitals might be tens of miles away.  Also, don’t count on the killer having anything more than he has to have to get it done.  If the mother starts bleeding, she better hope for a nearby ambulance.

When I first thought about writing this, I considered toning it down some.  I considered using the euphemisms but I think it is about time we strip the nicety language and call it what it is.  You see, when we use the milder language, it becomes easier to face.

Instead of recognizing the life of the baby, he is referred to as fetus, or perhaps a blob of tissue, as if he is a cancer to cut out.  However, the true facts remain, that child, if permitted to live, will be person.  Actually, he already is, though the killers and those who prefer to allow the killings refuse to let the mothers realize it.

The instant a person brings up the subject of a beating heart or informed consent, those who are death-oriented will do their best to destroy the person(s) who had the nerve to bring up the real science.  You see, if you bring up such things, you stand in the way of maintaining the assembly line of death, and, of course, the money making opportunities.

Well, Nov 7, 2023, those who love death have had their victory, though, for sure, it is fleeting.  God does know how to extract punishment, especially on those who harm “the littlest of these.”  Those who kill and those who have had a part in it will have their part in the punishment.  And for sure, there are no euphemisms for what will be waiting for them.
